Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine income analysis, profitability analysis, marketing margin and marketing efficiency of chicken egg businesses in Randangan District, Pohuwato Regency. This research was carried out for 3 months, starting from August 2024 to October 2024. The data collection technique in this research uses Stratified Random Sampling, namely a sampling technique used to take heterogeneous samples randomly, divided into layers that are completely separated from each other and each layer (strata) can be taken randomly. In this study, the determination of respondents was carried out deliberately (purposively) with a total population of 14 people, namely 2 chicken egg entrepreneurs, 2 collecting traders, and 10 retail traders. The analysis used is revenue analysis, profitability analysis, marketing margin, and marketing efficiency. Research analysis shows that the income obtained from the chicken egg business in Randangan District is IDR 510,137,889/month. Gross Profit Margin (GPM) value 19.52%, Net Profit Margin (NPM) value of 16.19%, and Return On Investment (ROI) value of 5.59%. The marketing margin for the chicken egg business in Randangan District, Pohuwato Regency at marketing channel level I is IDR 14,500/shelf and at marketing channel II it is IDR 9,500/shelf. The marketing channel for the chicken egg business in Randangan District, Pohuwato Regency has an efficiency value of 3.61% for collectors and 1.72% for retailers.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam usaha budidaya jagung diperlukan benih yang memilki daya kecambah yang tinggi dan viabilitas yang baik dalam usaha peningkatan produktivitas jagung. Benih yang berkualitas dapat diamatai dari jumlah kecambah yang menyimpang, daya kecambah bentuk tidka normal, dan toleransi terhadap kecambah dalam kaitanya dengan kondisi suboptimal. Peningkatan kualitas dapat dilakukan melalui beberapa teknik invigorasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon benih jagung kadaluarsa terhadap invigor berbagai zat pengatur tumbuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok terdiri dari 10 perlakuan yaitu perlakuan benih baru + Aquades, benih baru + 500 cc/L ZPT ektrak tauge, benih baru + 500 cc/L ZPT air kelapa muda, benih baru + 0,2 cc/L Auksin , E benih kadaluarsa + 0,2 cc/L Giberelin, benih kadaluarsa + Aquades, benih kadaluarsa + 500 cc/L ZPT tauge, benih kadaluarsa + 500 cc/L ZPT air kelapa, benih kadaluarsa + 0,2 cc/L Auksin dan benih kadaluarsa + 0,2 cc/L Giberelin. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, hingga mendapatkan 30 satuan percobaan. Percobaan yang digunakan adalah dengan metode uji pasir di Screen House, dimana satu nampan terdiri dari 100 butir benih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan B (benih baru + 500 cc/L ZPT ekstrak tauge) memberikan hasil terbaik pada pengamatan laju perkecambahan dan keserampakan tumbuh serta perlakuan C (benih baru + 500 cc/L ZPT air kelapa muda) memberikan hasil terbaik pada daya kecambah dan kecepatan tumbuh. Abstract

Jagung merupakan komoditi penting dalam program pemerintah di Provinsi Gorontalo khususnya pada bidang pertanian. Dalam budidaya tanaman terdapat hambatan dalam mencapai hasil yang optimal, salah satunya adalah gulma. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2023 sampai dengan Februari 2024 di Kecamatan Taluditi dan Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian dan Ilmu Perikanan Universitas Pohuwato untuk mengidentifikasi gulma. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif (survey dan pengamatan gulma baik dari warna dan bentuk) dan kuantitatif dengan menghitung Kerapatan, Frekuensi, Nilai Penting, Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR), dan Indeks Keanekaragaman (H’). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nilai Summed Dominance Ratio gulma tertinggi pada lahan pertanaman jagung umur 20 HST gulma yang mendominasi adalah Meniran (P amarus) dan Bayam (Amaranthus sp) dengan nilai masing-masing 18%. Pada pertanaman jagung umur 80 HST nilai SDR gulma tertinggi terdapat pada spesies Gewor (C. benghalensis) 21%. Keanekaragaman gulma pada lahan pertanaman jagung umur 20 HST nilai (H’) gulma adalah 2,24. Sedangkan nilai (H’) gulma pada pertanaman jagung umur 80 HST 2,39. Sehingga keanekaragaman gulma pada lahan pertanaman jagung tergolong sedang. Corn is an important commodity in government programs in Gorontalo Province, especially in the agricultural sector. In plant cultivation there are obstacles in achieving optimal results, one of which is weeds. The research was carried out from October 2023 to February 2024 in Taluditi District and the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries Sciences, Pohuwato University to identify weeds. The method used in this research is a qualitative method (survey and observation of weeds both in terms of color and shape) and quantitative by calculating Density, Frequency, Importance Value, Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR), and Diversity Index (H'). The results of the research showed that the highest weed Summed Dominance Ratio value in corn plantations aged 20 HST, the dominant weeds were Meniran (P amarus) and Spinach (Amaranthus sp) with values ​​of 18% each. In corn plantings aged 80 HST, the highest weed SDR value was found in the Gewor species (C. benghalensis) at 21%. The diversity of weeds in corn plantations aged 20 HST, the value (H') of weeds is 2.24. Meanwhile, the value (H') of weeds in corn plantings aged 80 HST was 2.39. So the diversity of weeds in corn plantations is classified as moderate.

Abstract

Plant growth regulators are organic or synthetic compounds that function to regulate and stimulate plant growth, both in the vegetative and generative phases. The administration of plant growth regulators (PGRs) is an effort to provide hormones to plants for optimal growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and yield of expired corn (Zea mays L.) plants after the administration of various plant growth regulators. The research using a randomized block design consisted of 10 treatments where treatment A = new seeds + Aquades, B = new seeds + 500 cc / L ZPT bean sprout extract, C = new seeds + 500cc / L ZPT young coconut water, D = new seeds + 0.2 cc / L Auxin, E = new seeds + 0.2 cc / L Gibberellin, F = expired seeds + Aquades, G = expired seeds + 500 cc / L ZPT bean sprout extract, H = expired seeds + 500 cc / L young coconut water, I = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / L Auxin, J = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / l Gibberellin. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, until 30 experimental units were obtained. Based on the results of the study, the highest plants were found in treatment I = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / L auxin at plant age 6 MST with an average of 257,667. The observation of the highest number of leaves was found in treatment I = expired seeds + 0.2 cc / L auxin at plant age 6 MST with an average of 14,530 strands, the best stem diameter was in treatment F = expired seeds + Aquades, at plant age 5 MST with an average stem diameter of 28,733, observations on the weight of the cob with husk and the best weight of the cob without husk were found in treatment F = expired seeds + Aquades with an average of 287,200 grams, and 251,533 grams, observations on the length of the best cob in treatment F = expired seeds + Aquades with an average length of 19,900 cm.
