Abstract

This search own to receive explanation on managerial competence and teacher work discipline as well as the relationship between principal managerial competence and teacher work discipline at SMK N 3 Pariaman as seen from developing schools and upgrading the level of school in aspect teaching personnel (variable X) and regarding timeliness teachers at work, adherence to school regulations, and teacher responsibilities at work (variable Y). The population of teachers at SMK N 3 Pariaman in 81 people with a sample of 46 people using the Slovin. The instrument in this study used a likert scale questionare through validity and reliability tests. This data uses product moment correlation with r count 0,297 > r table 0,291 and t count 2,06 > t table 2,00. The result of the research is that there is a relationship between principal managerial competence and work discipline teachers at SMK N 3 Pariaman.

Abstract

Loyalitas merupakan faktor penting yang ikut mempengaruhi effektivitas kerja seorang pegawai dalam organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan informasi tentang loyalitas pegawai di kantor Rektorat Universitas Negeri Padang dalam hal tanggung jawab, ketaatan, sikap kerja positif dan pengabdian. Penelitian sekarang bersifat deskriptif dangan tata cara kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian saat ini yaitu pegawai administratif di kantor rektorat unp yang berjumlah 210 orang dan 57 orang sampel. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Bahan hasil penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan rumus rata-rata. Bahan hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa loyalitas pegawai di kantor Rektorat Universitas Negeri Padang dilihat dari aspek (1) tanggungjawab berpengaruh dikategorikan tinggi dengan skor 4, 2, (2) ketaatan berdampak dikategorikan sangat tinggi dengan skor 4,64, (3) sikap kerja positif berimbas dikategorkani tinggi dengan skor 4,34 dan (4) pengabdian bermakna dikategorikan tinggi dengan skor 4,41. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Loyalitas pegawai Rektorat Universitas Negeri Padang pegawai berakibat dikategorikan tinggi dengan skor 4, 35.

Abstract

This study is to get a sketch of Student Perceptions of School Administrative Personnel Services. This assessment is descriptive quantitative in nature. The population in this study were 870 students of State Technical Vocational High Schools in Padang City. Sampling in this study is proportional random sampling obtained by 84 students. The assessment instrument carried out was in the form of a questionnaire on a linkert scale. This questionnaire has been tested to see its validity and reliability. The results of this study prove that the students' perceptions of the service of school administrative personnel in technical vocational high schools (SMK) in the city of Padang: 1) observed from the timeliness of the assessment by category enough to get an average score of 3.06, 2) the aspect of hospitality with a sufficient category by getting an average score of 3.13, 3) observed from the aspect of responsibility with a sufficient category by getting an average score of 3.03, 4) observed from the aspect of the procurement of supporting facilities with a sufficient category to get an average score - Average 3.33, 5) observed from the aspects that get service with enough category get an average score of 3.13, and 6) observed from the aspect of comfort who get service with enough category get an average score of 3.30. This examination was denied that the Students' Perceptions of School Administration Personnel Services in the State Technical Vocational School (SMK) Padanf City with a sufficient category got an average score of 3.16. Suggestions that can be given are that efforts are needed to improve Student Perceptions of School Administration Personnel Services to be even better.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the suitability of existing infrastructure in schools with predetermined standards. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative methods. Data werecollected using interview, observation (observation) and documentation study. Data analysis using interactive analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. For data validity using triangulation technique. Abstract

This research aims to get information about students’ perception of scout extracurricular activities in vocational schools in east Padang subdistrict as seen from indicators of interest, attitude, motivation, attention, appreciation and expectations. The type of research used is desscriptive research using quantitative methods. In this research, the population of students at SMK in East Padang subdistrict which amounted to 325 students, the large sample taken was 76 respondents. The withdrawal of samples in this research using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection using questionnaires with likert scale has been tested for validity and reliability. The average formulation is used in processing data in this research. The data showed the response of students regarding scout extracurricular activities at vocational schools in east Padang regarding scout extracurrilar activities at vocational schools in east padang subdistrict from: (1) the interest aspect is getting an average score of 2.53 with a respondent achievement rate (TCR) of 58.8% in the low category; (2) aspect of attitude are getting an average score of 2.65 and the respondent’s achievement rate (TCR) of 61.8% in the low category; (3) the motivational aspect is to get an average score of 2.61 and the respondent’s achievement rate (TCR) of 57.2% in the low category; (4) the attention aspect is to get an average score 2.59 and the respondent’s achievement rate (TCR) of 60.6% in the low category; (5) the aspect of appreciation is to get an average score of 2.47 with a respondents’s achievement rate (TCR) of 57.7% in the low category; (6) the aspect of expectation is to get an average score of 2.41% and the respondent’s achievement rate (TCR) of 57.0% in the low category. Overall, student’s perception of scout extracuricular activities in vocational schools in east Padang subdistrict scored an average of 2.54 with a respondent’s achievement rate (TCR) of 58.85% in the low category.

Abstract

Riset ini maksudnya untuk menunjukan pelayanan tenaga administrasi sekolah urusan kesiswaan berbasis teknologi informasi di Smk se kabupaten tanar. Tujuan riset ini untuk menunjukan 1) prosedur pelayanan, 2) waktu penyelesaian pelayanan, 3) biaya pelayanan, 4) produk pelayanan, 5) sarana dan prasarana pelayanan, 6) kompetensi petugas pemberi pelayanan dan 7) penggunaan teknologi. Populasinya adalah seluruh guru Smk se Kabupaten Tanah Datar berjumlah 347 orang. Sampel yaitu 79 guru didapat dengan rumus slovin dan diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumentresearch dengan angket model skala likert dan 5 jawaban yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan bantuan spss 20.0. hasilnya adalah 1)prosedur pelayanan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan memperoleh skor 4,18. 2) waktu penyelesaian memperoleh kategori tinggi dengan memperoleh skor 3,72. 3) biaya pelayanan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan memperoleh skor 4,20. 4) produk pelayanan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan memperoleh skor 3,99. 5) sarana dan prasarana pelayanan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan memperoleh skor 4,27. 6) kompetensi petugas pemberi pelayanan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan memperoleh skor 4,13 dan 7) penggunaan teknologi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan memperoleh skor 4,08. Kesimpulan nya pelayanan tenaga administrasi sekolah berbasis teknologi informasi di Smk se Kabupaten Tanah Datar sudah sangat baik.

Abstract

This research was made to obtain information at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of IAKR Water Utilization Network regarding: 1) Leadership Assertiveness, 2) Leadership Model, 3) Supervision Activities, and 4) Sanctions for Violations. The author uses descriptive or quantitative research. The author used a questionnaire in this study with a Likert scale model with a population of all employees at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of the IAKR Water Utilization Network, amounting to 62 employees, the number of samples that researchers used for this study amounted to 38 people taken 10% of the population. The results of what the researchers found at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of IAKR Water Utilization Network are: 1) Assertiveness of leaders with an average number of 3.86 is in good criteria, 2) exemplary leadership with an average number of 4.00 are in good criteria, 3) Supervision activities with an average number of 3.78 are in good criteria, and 4) Sanctions for violations with an average number of 4.05 are in good criteria. Overall, it can be seen that the level of employee work discipline development at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of IAKR Water Utilization Network with an average number of 3.92 on good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information on whether there is a relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance. The purpose of this study was to obtain information on: 1) employee performance, 2) achievement motivation, and 3) the relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance. The population of all civil servants and non civil servant employees in the Department of Education and Culture of Fifty Cities Regency is 89 people. The sample used was 47 people who were obtained based on the use of the Slovin formula based on the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The use of this research instrument is the use of a Likert Scale with 5 selected answers it have test for validity and reliability. Validity and reliability were tested with the help of SPSS 16.0 with the Product Moment correlation formula. The results of the analysis show 1) high category employee performance, namely 89.58%, 2) achievement motivation is in the high category 87.9%, and 3) there is a clear relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance in the Education and Culture Office of Lima Puluh Kota Regency. That is, r count 0.754> r table 0.288 and the t value is 7.717> t table 2,000 at the 95% confidence level, which shows a relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance. This means that achievement motivation is one of the factors that influence the performance of employees in the Education and Culture Office of Fifty Cities Regency.

Abstract

Academic Supervision is a series of activities to assist in developing teacher professionalism in the implementation of learning with students carried out by leaders in schools, namely the principal. Academic supervision activities are carried out to help teachers improve learning activity planning, learning implementation, learning evaluation, and learning device preparation. This study aims to determine the implementation of the principal's academic supervision and see whether there is a significant difference in the implementation of the principal's academic supervision at SMKN 1 Padang Gelugur with SMKN 1 Rao selatan. This type of research is comparative descriptive and data collection is done by distributing questionnaires that have been tested for their validity and reliability. Before the data were analyzed, the data had been tested for normality and homogeneity and then performed the t-test to determine the difference value. Acquisition of data analysis is 1) academic supervision planning obtained 82.27% with the effective category. 2) the implementation of academic supervision obtained 79.34 in the quite effective category. 3) feedback and follow-up from the results of academic supervision obtained 75.2% including in the quite effective category. After testing the hypothesis using the SPSS application, namely the t-test, the result was that there was a difference in the implementation of the principal's academic supervision at SMKN 1 Padang Gelugur and SMKN 1 Rao Selatan because t count (2.154) <from t table (2.66). Based on the research results, the implementation of the principal's academic supervision at SMKN 1 Padang Gelugur was 1.08% more effective than SMKN 1 Rao Selatan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the author's observations while carrying out Field Management Practices at the Office of Tourism, Youth and Sports of Bukittinggi City which shows that employee performance is still not optimal. Many factors affect employee performance. One of them is organizational climate. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about 1) organizational climate, 2) employee performance and 3) the relationship between organizational climate and employee performance at the Office of Tourism, Youth and Sports, Bukittinggi City. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a significant relationship between organizational climate and employee performance. This study is a correlation study, aiming to see the relationship between organizational climate and employee performance at the Office of Tourism, Youth and Sports, Bukittinggi City. The population of this study is all civil servants who work at the Office of Tourism, Youth and Sports of Bukittinggi City with a total of 65 people. The research sample was taken using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique with the Cochran formula so that the sample in this study amounted to 46 people. The results of the validity and reliability test indicate that the organizational climate instrument with employee performance is valid and reliable. The research data was processed with the help of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 26. Descriptive analysis was assisted by the SPSS program by first calculating the mean, median, mode and standard deviation of the two variables. Then the normality and linearity tests were carried out using the Product Moment Correlation formula to see the relationship between the two variables. Then, the significance of the relationship between variables was tested using the T test formula. The results of data analysis showed 1) the organizational climate was in a conducive interpretation, namely 88.86%. 2) employee performance is in a fairly high interpretation, namely 88.73%. 3) there is a significant relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient of 0.818 and a correlation significance test of 9.437, and, r² = 66.91%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that organizational climate is one of the factors that affect employee performance at a correlation value of 0.818 with a contribution of 66.91%. This means that the better the organizational climate, the higher the employee's performance.
