Abstract

ABSTRAKKampus sebagai tempat lahirnya para intelektual muda, diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang terjadi dewasa ini, khususnya masalah sampah. Aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh civitas akademika di sekitar kampus membuat jumlah sampah meningkat sepanjang tahun, akan tetapi kurang diimbangi dengan pengolahan sampah di sekitar kampus. Terlebih lagi, para tenaga kebersihan kampus (OB) kurang dibekali tentang cara pengolahan sampah, misalnya sampah organik. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada para OB melalui workshop pengolahan sampah organik menjadi kompos di wilayah sekitar kampus.  Metode yang digunakan adalah POA (Planning of Action), serta metode survey untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan kegiatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan secara blended mengingat PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat). Worshop online dilakukan saat paparan materi teori oleh narasumber, dan offline saat praktek dengan jumlah peserta terbatas. Hasil pengabdian ditunjukkan dengan respon antusiasme tinggi dari partisipan yang hadir secara langsung (offline) maupun tak langsung (online). Sebagian besar partisipan menginginkan ada rencana tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan; blended workshop; sampah organik; kompos ABSTRACTCampus as the birthplace of young intellectuals, is expected to be able to provide solutions to the problems that occur today, especially the waste problem. Activities carried out by the academic community around the campus make the amount of waste increase throughout the year, but it is not balanced with waste processing around the campus. What's more, the campus cleaning staff (CS) are not equipped with how to process waste, such as organic waste. The purpose of this service is to provide training to OBs through workshops on processing organic waste into compost in the area around campus. The method used is POA (Planning of Action), as well as a survey method to evaluate the success of the activity. The implementation of the activities is blended considering the PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities). Online workshops are carried out during exposure to theoretical material by resource persons, and offline during practice with a limited number of participants. The results of the service are shown by high enthusiasm responses from participants who attend directly (offline) and indirectly (online). Abstract

Learning media is one of the ways or tools used in the learning process. This is done with the aim of facilitating learning activities, as well as in order to support the success of the teaching and learning process. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of using solar system scope media in increasing students' understanding of solar system material in one of the schools located in Satun-South Thailand. This research is a qualitative research, while the data collection uses observation, interview, and evaluation methods. In this study also used a questionnaire on students' understanding of the solar system material using the solar system scope application. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that by utilizing the solar system scope application, learning on solar system material can be said to be effective, and of course it can make it easier for students to understand existing solar system material.

Abstract

Abstrak Kimia sebagai salah mata pelajaran di berikan di SMA juga mempunyai tugas utama dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Hasil analisis angket Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran ( MGMP)  Kimia di Kabupaten Brebes menunjukkan bahwa guru membutuhkan peningkatan kompetensi dalam mengembangkan butir tes yang sesuai dengan PISA dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Guru mampu membuat soal yang berorientasi pemahaman konsep-konsep dasar kimia tetapi jarang melakukan asesmen yang berbasis literasi sains, sehingga diperlukan pelatihan melalui Hibah dibiayai DRTPM DirJenDiktiRistek KemDikBudRisTek Tahun 2024 untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan MGMP Kimia.  Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk: 1) melatih pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru MGMP Kimia untuk membuat bank butir soal PISA berbasis pemodelan Rasch menggunakan aplikasi SISMIA; 2) mengetahui respon kepuasan peserta pelatihan pengabdian. Sasaran pengabdian ini pada guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten Brebes yang berjumlah 50 orang. Metode pengabdian menggunakan metode SMART dengan teknik DACUM. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dari mitra sebanyak 85,7 %, dan sebanyak 86,7% merasa puas terhadap pelaksanaan pengabdian. Sebanyak 100 % responden mitra merasa tertarik untuk menggunakan aplikasi SISMIA sebagai validasi bank butir tes berbasis PISA. Saran pengabdian ini dapat digunakan pada indikator kompetensi PISA yang lain. Kata kunci: pelatihan; bank butir tes; PISA; MGMP kimia; hibah DRTPM Abstract Chemistry as one of the subjects taught in high school also has the main task of increasing students' scientific literacy. The results of questionnaire analysis the Chemistry Subject Teachers' Conference (MGMP) in Brebes Regency show that teachers need to increase their competency in developing test items that comply with PISA by utilizing technology. Teachers are still happy with questions that tend to be oriented towards understanding basic science concepts but rarely carry out assessments based on scientific literacy, so special training is needed through the DRTPM, Diktiristek, KEMDIKBUDRISTEK Grant programs to improve MGMP Chemistry knowledge and skills.  The aim of this service is to: 1) train the knowledge and skills of MGMP Chemistry teachers to create a PISA-based question bank using the SISMIA application; 2) find out the satisfaction response of service training participants. The target of this service is 50 MGMP Chemistry teachers in Brebes Regency. The service method uses the SMART method with the DACUM technique. The results of this service showed that there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners by 85.7%, and as many as 86.7% were satisfied with the implementation of the service. As many as 100% of partner respondents felt interested in using the SISMIA application as validation of the PISA-based test item bank. Abstract

This study aims to determine the perspective of digital literacy as a pedagogical foundation for IPAS teachers in the era of artificial intelligence. This study uses a qualitative approach with thematic analysis through interviews. Interviews were conducted with five IPAS vocational school teachers in the Tegal Regency. The results revealed that teachers view digital literacy as a crucial skill in utilizing digital tools and interactive digital platforms, with teachers' opinions differing significantly depending on their length of teaching experience. Three main challenges faced include limited infrastructure, student resistance, and the need for ongoing training. The findings show that teachers position AI only as a learning assistant that enriches the learning experience. The implications of the study emphasize the development of applicable digital literacy training programs and recommend collaboration among teachers through learning communities to improve teachers' pedagogical competencies. Keywords: digital literacy; artificial intelligence; pedagogical; IPAS teacher

Abstract

Teachers struggle to explain abstract concepts, and a lack of supporting facilities in some schools also hinders the implementation of learning media. Low student engagement in learning can lead to misconceptions and a decline in conceptual understanding, which should be the foundation for knowledge acquisition. Therefore, students' understanding plays a crucial role in the learning process, which requires their ability to interpret meaning, master concepts, understand situations, and apply the facts they have learned. This study aims to determine the extent to which students' conceptual understanding increases in the solar system material by implementing STEAM learning assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) media in science learning. The method used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. With a purposive sampling technique, the sample was determined with class VII D as the experimental class and VII C as the control class. The instruments used included pretest-posttest questions and documentation, with data analysis carried out using SPSS version 26. The results showed that students' conceptual understanding in the experimental class reached 90.97% (very good category), while the control class was 76.94% (fairly good category). This study shows that the application of STEAM assisted by AR media has a positive impact, namely it is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding of the solar system.
