Many of the absence of young women at school due to not being able to withstand pain during menstruation. So that there is a need for complementary therapy by implementing yoga Paschimottanasana and Adho Mukha Padmasana. The purpose of this study was to assess differences in pain intensity in young women who were given postchimonttanasana therapy and Adho Mukha Padmasana with those who were only given conventional knowledge and therapeutic information. The quantitative research method used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all young women in SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja with a minimum sample of treatment and control groups of 188 respondents. Sampling with stratified random sampling technique in class 10-12. Provision of yoga was given to the treatment group then assessed pre and posttest using the Verbal Descriptor Scale / VDS questionnaire that was valid and reliable Analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with paired t-test and independent t-test statistical tests. The results of statistical tests using paired t-test there were differences in pain intensity between before and after from the treatment group (p value 0.001) while in the control group there was no difference. Judging from the effect of using the independent t-test, it was found that Paschimottanasana yoga and Adho Mukha Padmasana had an effect on reducing the intensity of pain during menstruation 1.22 (0.517-1.911) with a p value <0.05 than those not only given conventional knowledge and therapy. The conclusion is that there is a difference and the effect of reducing the intensity of pain from giving yoga Paschimottanasana and Adho Mukha Padmasana.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Semi Fowler position on oxygen saturation in COPD patients. The research design used the One Group Pre-Post Test Design. The research results on 30 COPD respondents showed that the average value of oxygen saturation before being given the Semi Fowler position was 89.47. After being given the Semi Fowler position for 30 minutes, the average oxygen saturation value of COPD patients increased, namely 95.83. The results of the paired t-test show that the results are sig (2-tailed) or the value of r = 0.0001. In conclusion, there is an increase in the oxygen saturation values after being given the Semi Fowler position. Keywords: COPD, Oxygen Saturation, Semi Fowler

Abstract

Pain in children with treatment or management in the hospital is very common. Especially when seen when rehydrating children with infusions, almost all children are anxious, scared and crying. The purpose of this study was to see the difference in pain during infusion between those who were given the distraction of watching cartoons and those who were given conventional methods. Quantitative research method with quasi-experimental design. The sample used in the treatment and control groups was 34 respondents. The instrument uses a FLACC (Face, Legs, Activity, Cry and Consolability) pain scale sheet. Analysis using the Independent T-Test. The result is that there is a significant difference in pain from the treatment group to the control with a p value <0.005.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on oxygen saturation in COPD patients. The research design used a pre-experimental one-group pre-post test design. The results showed that the average oxygen saturation value before being given deep breath relaxation was 90.19, and the average oxygen saturation after being given deep breath relaxation was 93.27. Based on the results of the paired t-test showed that the results of pre and post (0.000) < (0.05). In conclusion, there is an effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on increasing oxygen saturation in COPD patients. Keywords: COPD, Oxygen Saturation, Deep Breathing Relaxation Technique
