Abstract

The study was to analyze the management of library services in uin mount djati bandung. The study USES a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques with participative observations, structured and unstructured interviews, and documentary studies. The analysis of the data in this study is done in three ways: data unitation, data categorization, and data interpretation. The search for library services management research found in mount dteal bandung shows that: 1) there are 11 types of service procedures; 2) service time on site for the update by 54 hours per week and online services can be obtained 24 hours nonstop via web and library applications; 3) services requiring an fee in the library, between which: a) the photoshop service, of rp500, rupiah/ page, b) the post - based member card service (lost) of rp100,000, d) 4) items for library services: a) physical products such as: a quick response code (QRC) visitors' lists, multi-purpose station (MPS), identification (rfid) of body technology (rfid), book drop machine; B) non - physical product: web based and application; 5) library facilities and infrastructure covered by the requirements for library accreditation, So the central library of uin msan bandung falls in the highest category (a); 6) the competence of library service officers according to competence standards based on Indonesian national performance standards, including general standards, content standards, and special standards.

Abstract

The design and implementation of the educational curriculum must be adapted to the socio-cultural conditions of an educational institution. Therefore, in implementing the curriculum, it is better to use appropriate socio-cultural management so that quality development goes well even though it is in educational institutions that have a strong religious system or known as pesantren. The purpose of this research is to know the planning, implementation and evaluation of curriculum based on socio-cultural management in the area of pesantren-based social institutions. This research is a qualitative with the type of case study. Sources of data used are primary and secondary. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The result of this research is that curriculum planning carried out by MTs Nurul Iman Garum is carried out with a process towards a better direction in terms of learning and institutions. In addition, the implementation of the curriculum includes checking teacher readiness, the learning process is supervised by the head of the madrasa, there is an instillation of Islamic values in the learning process, implementing the ubudiyah program, the tahfidz program or additional tutoring. For the evaluation carried out by the MTs Nurul Iman Garum institution, namely; there are two evaluations to measure students' abilities, namely summative and formative evaluations.

Abstract

Filsafat Ilmu dan Implikasi Sosial dari Ilmu Pengetahuan merupakan topik yang sangat penting untuk dibahas karena memiliki implikasi besar terhadap keselamatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam konteks ini, tanggung jawab etis para ilmuwan dan teknolog sangatlah penting untuk dipertimbangkan, agar pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tidak membahayakan masyarakat atau lingkungan. Untuk memahami hal ini lebih lanjut, pengetahuan tentang filsafat ilmu dan etika penelitian sangatlah diperlukan. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini akan membahas beberapa rumusan masalah terkait dengan Filsafat Ilmu dan Implikasi Sosial dari Ilmu Pengetahuan: Menjaga Keselamatan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat, dan memberikan beberapa referensi buku berbahasa Indonesia yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan. Dalam pembahasannya, artikel ini akan membahas implikasi sosial dari ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi terhadap keselamatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, serta tanggung jawab etis ilmuwan dan teknolog dalam memastikan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tidak membahayakan masyarakat atau lingkungan. Diharapkan artikel ini dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang Filsafat Ilmu dan Implikasi Sosial dari Ilmu Pengetahuan: Menjaga Keselamatan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat, serta memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang berkelanjutan dan beretika.

Abstract

The existence and development of Islamic boarding schools are inseparable from the figure of the kiai, who play a central role in these institutions and serve as an intellectual actor in their movement and development. One of the main challenges faced by these madrasas is the low quality of the educational process, attributed to deficiencies in management, curriculum, and teaching staff. This study aims to determine the role of the kiai’s leadership in developing the Islamic boarding school in Bandung city. It seeks to understand how the kiai's leadership contributes to character development and learning outcomes in the context of Bandung. The research methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. Key informants include kiai and pesantren leaders, selected through snowball sampling. The data analysis process involves data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that the leadership style applied at the Islamic Boarding School in Bandung City is democratic and transformational. The kiai plays a crucial role as a supervisor, motivator, caregiver, advisor, educator, facilitator, coordinator, and role model in shaping the character of the students. The implication of this research is that optimizing the leadership role of kiai in Islamic boarding schools, both interpersonal, informational and decisional roles of kiai in Islamic boarding schools, is important in the process of improving the character of students in Islamic boarding schools. the results of this study recommend the involvement of a kia to all stakeholders in building student character.

Abstract

Eksistensialisme adalah aliran pemikiran dalam filsafat yang menekankan kebebasan individu, eksistensi, dan makna hidup. Dalam konteks filsafat ilmu, eksistensialisme menyoroti hubungan yang erat antara manusia dan pengetahuan, serta mengkritisi pandangan bahwa pengetahuan itu netral dan objektif. Dalam eksistensialisme, pengetahuan tidaklah hanya sekumpulan fakta objektif, melainkan juga merupakan bagian dari pengalaman hidup individu dan konteks sosial-politiknya. Pandangan ini dapat mengarah pada kritik terhadap ilmu pengetahuan sebagai alat kekuasaan dan dorongan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi manusia dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Dalam konteks filsafat ilmu, eksistensialisme menawarkan sudut pandang yang penting untuk mempertanyakan asumsi-asumsi mendasar tentang pengetahuan dan eksistensi manusia, dan dapat memberikan kontribusi penting dalam upaya untuk memahami hubungan antara manusia dan pengetahuan.

Abstract

Toleransi beragama merupakan pendukung keharmonisan sosial untuk menuju kehidupan yang lebih baik. Menanamkan toleransi pada anak usia dini merupakan sebuah tantangan bagi pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai toleransi beragama yang dilakukan oleh guru pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan model penelitian studi kasus dengan peneliti sebagai partisipan pengamat. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan sebagai berikut, yaitu (1) transformasi nilai-nilai toleransi antar umat beragama, secara eksplisit belum diajarkan di sekolah karena semua siswa hampir sebagian besar seagama, (2)transformasi toleransi nilai-nilai dikalangan siswa yang diajarkan melalui pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan pelajaran lainnya, (3) Nilai-nilai toleransi di kalangan siswa diajarkan melalui lagu atau materi yang disampaikan serta diperkuat dari kebiasaan sehari-hari seperti menyapa, berbagi sesuatu yang dimiliki, dan membantu kebutuhan orang lain.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe how curriculum planning, organization, implementation, and supervision strengthen the quality of graduates from pesantren-based Islamic senior high schools. The conceptual framework of this study posits that if educational institutions, including pesantren-based madrasahs, can continuously apply planning, organization, implementation, and supervision according to customer needs, then pesantren-based Islamic senior high schools can produce quality graduates. The research method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include documentary study, interviews, and observations.The research findings indicate that: 1) Curriculum planning in enhancing the quality of graduates from pesantren-based madrasahs at Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang Bogor Islamic Senior High School and Sahid Pamijahan Bogor Islamic Senior High School includes goal setting, method determination, content determination, and evaluation determination. 2) Curriculum organization in enhancing the quality of graduates from pesantren-based madrasahs at Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang Bogor Islamic Senior High School and Sahid Pamijahan Bogor Islamic Senior High School involves the preparation of academic calendars, scheduling of lessons, arrangement of duties and obligations of educational personnel, and school activity programs. 3) Curriculum implementation in enhancing the quality of graduates from pesantren-based madrasahs at Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang Bogor Islamic Senior High School and Sahid Pamijahan Bogor Islamic Senior High School includes learning materials, learning strategies and methods, learning facilities and infrastructure, and learning assessment systems. 4) Curriculum supervision in enhancing the quality of graduates from pesantren-based madrasahs at Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang Bogor Islamic Senior High School and Sahid Pamijahan Bogor Islamic Senior High School comprises evaluation of educational goals, evaluation of content or materials, evaluation of teaching strategies, and evaluation of assessment programs. 5) The quality of graduates resulting from curriculum management at Ummul Quro Al-Islami and Sahid Islamic Senior High Schools is good; both schools have graduates who are accepted by educational customers, especially universities, both public and private.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, innovation in education is crucial. As one of the key pillars of human and societal development, education must continuously evolve to address the needs and challenges of modern times. Preparing the younger generation for future challenges necessitates prioritizing educational innovation on the global policy agenda. The philosophical foundation of education is essential in providing a framework for understanding the purpose of education, teaching methods, and the relationship between education, individuals, and society. This research aims to serve as a reference for educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers in designing effective and relevant learning strategies and to contribute to the academic literature on the intersection of education and technology. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The research begins with a qualitative phase, where in-depth interviews and literature analysis are used to explore integrating educational philosophy with technological advancements in learning. This qualitative step identifies key challenges, opportunities, and needs within current educational systems. In the subsequent quantitative phase, surveys and questionnaires are distributed to a larger sample of educators and students to gather data on their experiences and perceptions regarding the use of technology in education. The study results confirm that a deep integration of educational philosophy with advancements in learning technology is crucial for creating a holistic and effective education system. This approach fosters character development, enhances critical thinking skills, and prepares learners to face future challenges with empathy, critical thinking, and wisdom. The data collected through qualitative and quantitative methods reveal significant correlations between educational philosophy's application and technology's successful integration in fostering an adaptable, forward-thinking educational environment.
