Abstract

This study analyzes the role of digital transformation as a strategic instrument to expand public service accessibility in Indonesia. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of open-access national journals and relevant policy documents from the last decade, the research highlights how digitalization, particularly e-government implementation, enhances service efficiency, transparency, and inclusivity. Key findings indicate that digital platforms like SP4N-LAPOR! have improved public responsiveness and accountability, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, challenges such as infrastructure disparities, uneven digital literacy, bureaucratic resistance, and data security risks hinder optimal outcomes. The study concludes that digital transformation significantly supports public service reform but requires integrated strategies, including infrastructure development, digital literacy programs, inclusive regulations, and multi-stakeholder coordination. These recommendations aim to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to public services across all regions and vulnerable groups.

Abstract

The customary law practiced within a community reflects a system of values and norms passed down through generations. One such regulation is the prohibition of activities such as farming, gardening, and fishing on certain days particularly on Fridays as a form of respect for the obligation of performing Friday prayers. This study aims to examine the philosophical foundations, alignment with Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), and the effectiveness of the implementation of customary sanctions in North Aceh Regency. The study reveals the complex interaction between traditional customs and the principles of Islamic law in the formulation of these sanctions. The research employs an empirical juridical method, with a normative approach focusing on the analysis of customary legal norms prevailing in the local community. The subjects were selected through purposive sampling, involving interviews with religious leaders (ulema), traditional leaders, mukim, customary institutions, and the local community of North Aceh. The findings indicate that the philosophical rationale behind the formulation of customary sanctions in North Aceh aligns with fiqh principles, aiming to preserve traditional values and local culture as integral components of community life. These sanctions are based on principles of justice, solidarity, social responsibility, and social order, with the goal of restoring communal harmony disrupted by violations of local norms. The formulation process involves collaboration between Islamic scholars and traditional leaders through the study of Islamic texts, the Qur’an, and Hadith, alongside discussions about local customary practices. The implementation of customary sanctions is considered effective, as it continues to be respected and upheld by the community. However, challenges persist in the form of declining knowledge and concern among younger generations regarding customary law. This study recommends the preservation of customary values rooted in Islamic principles through educational and participatory approaches across generations.

Abstract

: The rapid development of information technology in the digital era has brought new challenges, particularly the widespread circulation of hoaxes among the public—especially among the younger generation who are active on social media but often lack adequate digital literacy skills. This community service initiative aims to strengthen the critical capacity of the youth in Gampong Lamblang Manyang through a participatory, educational approach. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving youth in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the program. The results show an increased understanding among participants regarding the characteristics of hoaxes and how to verify information. Behavioral changes were also observed in participants’ more thoughtful and responsible use of social media. They also demonstrated greater participation in critical discussions within the village and took the initiative to continue educational efforts independently through youth groups. This activity successfully fostered critical awareness, strengthened the role of youth as agents of information literacy, and encouraged collective concern for the importance of information filtering in the digital age.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of government policies on social trauma healing and post-conflict social integration in Ambon, focusing on interfaith community relations and policies implemented following the Malino II Agreement. The objective of this research is to explore the effectiveness of reconciliation policies in reducing sectarian tensions and supporting the recovery of social trauma. The study employs a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, utilizing a literature review of relevant sources, including books and articles on related policies. The findings indicate that reconciliation policies involving interfaith dialogue and engagement with local leaders have been effective in mitigating sectarian tensions and fostering social trauma recovery. However, while these policies have shown short-term effectiveness, challenges persist in ensuring their sustainability and implementation, particularly regarding social inclusivity. Additionally, the role of local religious leaders and religious institutions is crucial in creating spaces for dialogue and strengthening social cohesion, while religious education and local cultural practices also contribute to social integration. This study suggests that community-based approaches and inclusive policies that engage various societal elements are essential for achieving sustainable social peace.
