Abstract

Fulfilling the needs of 67.99 percent of soybeans must be imported from abroad. To overcome the deficit in soybean production, the Indonesian government has pursued various soybean development programs. The research was carried out with the aim of: (1) Analyzing the effect of using production factors both simultaneously and partially on soybean farming in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency, (2) Analyzing the technical efficiency of soybean farming in paddy fields and land land in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The research method used in this study is an explanatory survey method by taking cases on soybean farming in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Samples were taken using Multistage Cluster Random Sampling, then a sample of 127 people was obtained from a population of 185 soybean farmers from two randomly selected villages (Jatiwaras and Papayan Villages), from 11 soybean center villages that planted in rice fields and land agro-ecosystems (Kaputihan, Neglasari). , Sukakerta, Setiawangi, Papayan, Jatiwaras, Ciwarak, Kersagalih, Kertarahayu, Mandalamekar, Mandalahurip). The analysis used for technical efficiency and determining the production factors that directly affect the resulting production output is the Cobb-Douglas stochastic frontier production function. The results of this study indicate that there is one variable that significantly influences the level of soybean production, namely fertilizer, Meanwhile, the variables of land area, seeds, pesticides and labor, meanwhile there are two variables that significantly influence the level of soybean production, namely land area and labor, seeds, fertilizers, and insignificant pesticides. Soybean farmers both on land and rice fields are in stage III (Irrational Stage). The average value of Technical Efficiency (TE) Allocative Efficiency (AE) and Economic Efficiency (EE) in paddy fields is 99.97 TE, 62.68 AE and 62.68 EE while the average values of Technical Efficiency, Allocative Efficiency and Efficiency The economists in rice fields are 21.35 TE, 19.42 AE and 19.42 EE. This value shows that soybean farming on land is more efficient in terms of TE, AE and EE tilapia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of Soybean farming in dryland and paddy fields land in the Jatiwaras Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency. The method used in this study is the survey method, while the data used consists of primary data and secondary data. Determination of sample farmers using the multistage cluster random sampling method. The number of respondents was taken as many as 36 farmers who were divided by farmers on 21 farmers on dryland and 15 farmers on wetland. The results of this study indicate that soybean farming in dryland is more feasible to cultivate with a value of R/C 1.98 while the value of R / C in wetland is 1.62.

Abstract

FAO as an international institution that focuses on food and agriculture issues in the world has ordered since the end of 2019 regarding the potential for the global food crisis that occurs in the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a major concern for Indonesia, which has been relying on imports to meet food needs. Again with distribution problems caused by the PSBB policy, because food is added to the basic needs that must be met by every community. Family farming is an alternative to survive (food security) in the midst of a pandemic. In the global context, family farming has now been seen as an approach to food security from food security, improved nutrition as well as increased family welfare. This study aims to see the role of family farming applications in family food security in Binangun Village, Pataruman, Banjar City. Responses were chosen purposively as many as 33 female farmers who are members of the Puncaksari Women Farmers Group. The data used include primary and secondary data during 2020 using in-depth interview techniques, focused discussions and literature studies. The data collected was collected descriptively using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that family farming was able to play a role as a positive and productive activity during the pandemic, providing family food, increasing income, avoiding erratic food commodity price fluctuations, and maintaining the health of the environment and family.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of production factors on profits in soybean farming in paddy fields and dry land in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The sample was determined using Multistage Cluster Random Sampling, so that a sample size of 127 people from a population of 185 people consisted of 52 farmers in the paddy fields and 75 farmers in the dry land. The results showed simultaneously the price of seeds, the price of fertilizer, the price of pesticides, labor costs, land area and the depreciation of the equipment have a very significant effect on profits. In model II it can be seen that the estimator of the profit function has an R2 of 0.4960. In model II it appears that the price of seeds, the price of fertilizer, and land area, has a negative relationship with profits; while the price of pesticides, labor costs, land area, and equipment depreciation have a positive relationship with profits. Partially the area of land has a significant effect on profits.

Abstract

KUBE-PKH is one of the programs carried out by the government in handling poverty through business groups in the form of community groups or social assisted families formed by members or social assisted families who have been fostered through the process of Social Welfare Program (PROKESOS) activities as a means of increasing the social welfare. The method in this research is to use survey research methods. Survey research is research that takes a sample from one population as a basic data collection tools. The result is that 1. Of the three Districts including Sukamantri District, Panjalu District and Rajadesa District, all of them show the results that the KUBE program that has been implemented on average has met the measure of efforts to increase community welfare. 2. The obstacles in implementing KUBE-PKH include human resources, education and economy.

Abstract

Robusta Cofee the plantation commodities with sufficient potential for development in Ciamis district. Robusta coffee production in Ciamis district experienced an increase of 4.95 percent in 2019 from the average coffee production in 2018 amounted to 4.07 percent, this condition indicates that the plantation coffee in Ciamis district became one of the commodities that was pretty  potensial to be developed. Therefore we need a good strategy in order to  perkebunan robusta coffee can provide great benefits for an increased community welfare in Ciamis district in particular. The aim of this study is to measure the potential of Robusta coffee as a leading sector in plantation commodities Ciamis district, analyze the factors internal and external to the Development of robusta coffee and coffee penegmbangan determine strategic priorities robusta. This research uses a survey method. Location research has been retained earnings purposive Panawangan subdistrict. The number of samples taken is 181 people. The results showed that the base area of robusta coffee was based on the highest indicator of production in Ciamis district is Panawangan district with an LQ value of 3.65, it means that every 1 part of robusta coffee production will be  used to meet the needs of Panawangan district and the remaining 2.65  part to meet the demand for robusta coffee commodities in other regions. Analysis of the QSPM matrix shows that the right strategy is an alternative to strategy with the highest total score of 6.38. The chosen strategy is farming development robusta coffee through the use of technological innovations in the area of cultivation potential and  developing a robusta coffee marketing network. With this strategy it is expected to be able to solve problems in robusta coffee agribusiness development in  the districts of Ciamis

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : (1). Menghitung pendapatan dari pengolahan ubi kayu menjadi baketrak yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha agroindustri pengolahan baketrak “Hehet” di Desa Karangmekar Kecamatan Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya (2). Menghitung nilai tambah dari pengolahan ubi kayu menjadi baketrak yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha agroindustri pengolahan baketrak “Hehet” di Desa Karangmekar Kecamatan Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Sampel penelitian diaambil secara purposive sampling, karena agroindustri baketrak “Hehet” merupakan agroindustri yang memproduksi baketrak dalam jumlah cukup besar, dan usahanya sudah lama yaitu selama 20 tahun dibandingkan dengan agroindustri lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : (1). Pendapatan agroindustri baketrak “hehet” di Desa Karangmekar Kecamatan Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dalam satu kali proses produksi yaitu Rp. 111,555,71. (2). Nilai tambah yang diperoleh agroindustri baketrak “hehet” di Desa Karangmekar Kecamatan Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya yaitu Rp. 9.683,33,00/kg dan memperoleh keuntungan Rp. 7.433,33/kg.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saluran pemasaran kedelai dari produsen sampai ke konsumen, biaya pemasaran, marjin pemasaran dan keuntungan pemasaran kedelai untuk setiap tingkatan lembaga pemasaran, dan bagian harga yang diterima petani (Farmer’s share) dari harga yang dibayarkan konsumen akhir. Sampling lokasi ditentukan secara sengaja dengan pertimbangan Desa Langkapsari merupakan penghasil kedelai terbesar di Kecamatan Banjarsari Kabupaten Ciamis. Sedangkan petani responden diambil dengan cara sensus pada Kelompoktani Munding Bule sebanyak 64 orang, dan sampling lembaga pemasaran menggunakan snowballs sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa:1. Terdapat 3 saluran pemasaran dari produsen sampai ke konsumen yang menggunakan saluran 2 tingkat dan saluran 3 tingkat.2. Biaya pemasaran pada saluran 1 adalah Rp 783,96,- per ikat, saluran 2 Rp 710,94,- per kilogram, saluran 3 Rp 439,18,- per kilogram sedangkan marjin pemasaran pada saluran 1 Rp 1.314,06,- per ikat, saluran 2 Rp 1.500,- per kilogram, saluran 3 sebesar Rp 1.000,- per kilogram dengan keuntungan pemasaran pada saluran 1 sebesar Rp 530,10,- per ikat, saluran 2 Rp 789,06,- per kilogram, saluran 3 Rp 560,82,- 3. farmer’s share saluran 1 sebesar 12,39 persen, saluran 2 sebesar 81,25, dan saluran 3 sebesar 86,67 persen dari harga yang dibayarkan konsumen.Kata kunci : Pemasaran, Kedelai

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan sayuran sebenarnya bisa diusahakan sendiri oleh masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah untuk bercocok tanam dengan memanfaatkan waktu luang sepulang bekerja atau waktu libur, dengan menggunakan curahan waktu tertentu dan teknologi yang digunakan kebutuhan akan sayuran bisa dipenuhi secara mandiri, tentunya dengan kualitas yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kelompok Wanita Tani Lingkung Gunung di Desa Sukamantri Kecamatan Sukamantri Kabupaten Ciamis, yang bertujuan memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah dengan berbagai macam tanaman dengan teknik hidroponik maupun menanam dalam polybag, sehingga kebutuhan pangan dan gizi keluarga bisa terpenuhi, serta meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga dengan menjual tanaman hasil budidaya. Sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah anggota kelompok wanita tani Lingkung Gunung. Selain itu diharapkan nantinya ini bisa mendifusikan atau menyebarluaskan kembali ke masyarakat lainnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan pengabdian ini yaitu metode penyuluhan tatap muka untuk menyampaikan informasi teknologi kepada anggota kelompok kemudian dilakukan kunjungan lapangan untuk melakukan pelatihan keterampilan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Kecamatan Sukamantri, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 21 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan: peserta aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan ditunjukan dengan banyaknya pertanyaan yang dilontarkan, serta ketertarikan menerapkan teknologi yang diberikan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi usahatani tomat.  Metode yang digunakan adalah metode  studi kasus di Desa Cibeureum, Kecamatan Sukamantri, Kabupaten Ciamis. Populasi petani tomat  sebanyak 401 dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 40 orang pada tingkat kesalahan 15%. Adapun analisis data dilakukan dengan  menggunakan persamaan regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian secara serentak variabel luas lahan, benih, pupuk kimia, pestisida dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh terhadap produksi usahatani tomat. Adapun secara parsial faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani Tomat yaitu luas lahan, pupuk kimia, dan tenaga kerja. Sedangkan benih dan Pestisida berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap produksi pada usahatani tomat di Desa Cibeureum Kecamatan Sukamantri Kabupaten Ciamis.
