Abstrak Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditas pangan yang mempunyai peran strategis dalam pembangunan pertanian dan perekonomian nasional. Komoditas ini berfungsi multiguna, baik untuk pangan maupun pakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik petani jagung, pendapatan petani jagung dan bagaimana struktur pendapatan petani jagung di Desa Karangpari Kecamatan Rancah Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 32 petani jagung menggunakan simple random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis usahatani dan analisis struktur pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani jagung rata-rata berumur 43 tahun, pendidikan formal yang ditamatkan sebagian besar hanya sampai SD, lahan usatahatani jagung tergolong luas pada lahan kering, pengalaman usahatani selama 7 tahun, tanggungan keluarga sebanyak 3 orang. Rata-rata pendapatan petani jagung sebesar Rp. 8.493.194,- yang diperoleh dari penerimaan Rp. 14.400.000,- dikurangi biaya total sebesar Rp. 5.906.806,- per musim tanam. Struktur pendapatan petani jagung per tahun di Desa Karangpari Kecamatan Rancah Kabupaten Ciamis di dominasi oleh pendapatan sektor pertanian sebesar 62,03 persen, sedangkan pendapatan dari sektor non pertanian berkontribusi sebesar 37,97 persen.Kata kunci : struktur, pendapatan, petani, jagung. Abstract Corn is a food commodity that has a strategic role in agricultural development and the national economy. This commodity has a multipurpose function, both for food and feed. This study aims to determine the characteristics of corn farmers, corn farmers' income and how the income structure of corn farmers in Karangpari Village, Rancah District, Ciamis Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study by taking a sample of 32 corn farmers using simple random sampling. The data collected includes primary data and secondary data. Data analysis was carried out using farming analysis and income structure analysis. The results showed that the average corn farmer was 43 years old, most of the formal education completed was only up to elementary school, the corn farming area was classified as large on dry land, farming experience for 7 years, family dependents were 3 people. The average income of corn farmers is Rp. 8,493,194, - which is obtained from the receipt of Rp. 14,400,000, - minus the total cost of Rp. 5,906,806, - per growing season. The income structure of corn farmers per year in Karangpari Village, Rancah District, Ciamis Regency is dominated by income from the agricultural sector by 62.03 percent, while income from the non-agricultural sector contributes 37.97 percent.Keywords: structure, income, farmers, corn.

Fulfilling the needs of 67.99 percent of soybeans must be imported from abroad. To overcome the deficit in soybean production, the Indonesian government has pursued various soybean development programs. The research was carried out with the aim of: (1) Analyzing the effect of using production factors both simultaneously and partially on soybean farming in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency, (2) Analyzing the technical efficiency of soybean farming in paddy fields and land land in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The research method used in this study is an explanatory survey method by taking cases on soybean farming in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Samples were taken using Multistage Cluster Random Sampling, then a sample of 127 people was obtained from a population of 185 soybean farmers from two randomly selected villages (Jatiwaras and Papayan Villages), from 11 soybean center villages that planted in rice fields and land agro-ecosystems (Kaputihan, Neglasari). , Sukakerta, Setiawangi, Papayan, Jatiwaras, Ciwarak, Kersagalih, Kertarahayu, Mandalamekar, Mandalahurip). The analysis used for technical efficiency and determining the production factors that directly affect the resulting production output is the Cobb-Douglas stochastic frontier production function. The results of this study indicate that there is one variable that significantly influences the level of soybean production, namely fertilizer, Meanwhile, the variables of land area, seeds, pesticides and labor, meanwhile there are two variables that significantly influence the level of soybean production, namely land area and labor, seeds, fertilizers, and insignificant pesticides. Soybean farmers both on land and rice fields are in stage III (Irrational Stage). The average value of Technical Efficiency (TE) Allocative Efficiency (AE) and Economic Efficiency (EE) in paddy fields is 99.97 TE, 62.68 AE and 62.68 EE while the average values of Technical Efficiency, Allocative Efficiency and Efficiency The economists in rice fields are 21.35 TE, 19.42 AE and 19.42 EE. This value shows that soybean farming on land is more efficient in terms of TE, AE and EE tilapia

Conformity is the pressure to have an attitude or to have behavior in a way that is consistent with rules that show people should behave (Spradley and David, 2012). This study aims to determine the causes of farmers to conform to farmer groups. Then how do the system of values and norms take place within the farmer group so that they can regulate behavior and direct the way of thinking of its members. The results showed that the most dominant factors affecting the behavior of soybean farmers in Jatiwaras Sub-district to conduct conformity included trust and cohesiveness. The high level of trust and the close relationship between individuals (cohesiveness) towards the group raises increasingly high conformity. On the contrary, equality of opinion and agreement are included in the low category so that if there is a difference of opinion on the group agreement there will be a decrease in the level of conformity. The way of thinking and behavior of soybean farmers tends to be based on rationality, so obedience to recommendations and rules in groups is often ignored.

FAO as an international institution that focuses on food and agriculture issues in the world has ordered since the end of 2019 regarding the potential for the global food crisis that occurs in the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a major concern for Indonesia, which has been relying on imports to meet food needs. Again with distribution problems caused by the PSBB policy, because food is added to the basic needs that must be met by every community. Family farming is an alternative to survive (food security) in the midst of a pandemic. In the global context, family farming has now been seen as an approach to food security from food security, improved nutrition as well as increased family welfare. This study aims to see the role of family farming applications in family food security in Binangun Village, Pataruman, Banjar City. Responses were chosen purposively as many as 33 female farmers who are members of the Puncaksari Women Farmers Group. The data used include primary and secondary data during 2020 using in-depth interview techniques, focused discussions and literature studies. The data collected was collected descriptively using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that family farming was able to play a role as a positive and productive activity during the pandemic, providing family food, increasing income, avoiding erratic food commodity price fluctuations, and maintaining the health of the environment and family.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of production factors on profits in soybean farming in paddy fields and dry land in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The sample was determined using Multistage Cluster Random Sampling, so that a sample size of 127 people from a population of 185 people consisted of 52 farmers in the paddy fields and 75 farmers in the dry land. The results showed simultaneously the price of seeds, the price of fertilizer, the price of pesticides, labor costs, land area and the depreciation of the equipment have a very significant effect on profits. In model II it can be seen that the estimator of the profit function has an R2 of 0.4960. In model II it appears that the price of seeds, the price of fertilizer, and land area, has a negative relationship with profits; while the price of pesticides, labor costs, land area, and equipment depreciation have a positive relationship with profits. Partially the area of land has a significant effect on profits.

Robusta Cofee the plantation commodities with sufficient potential for development in Ciamis district. Robusta coffee production in Ciamis district experienced an increase of 4.95 percent in 2019 from the average coffee production in 2018 amounted to 4.07 percent, this condition indicates that the plantation coffee in Ciamis district became one of the commodities that was pretty potensial to be developed. Therefore we need a good strategy in order to perkebunan robusta coffee can provide great benefits for an increased community welfare in Ciamis district in particular. The aim of this study is to measure the potential of Robusta coffee as a leading sector in plantation commodities Ciamis district, analyze the factors internal and external to the Development of robusta coffee and coffee penegmbangan determine strategic priorities robusta. This research uses a survey method. Location research has been retained earnings purposive Panawangan subdistrict. The number of samples taken is 181 people. The results showed that the base area of robusta coffee was based on the highest indicator of production in Ciamis district is Panawangan district with an LQ value of 3.65, it means that every 1 part of robusta coffee production will be used to meet the needs of Panawangan district and the remaining 2.65 part to meet the demand for robusta coffee commodities in other regions. Analysis of the QSPM matrix shows that the right strategy is an alternative to strategy with the highest total score of 6.38. The chosen strategy is farming development robusta coffee through the use of technological innovations in the area of cultivation potential and developing a robusta coffee marketing network. With this strategy it is expected to be able to solve problems in robusta coffee agribusiness development in the districts of Ciamis

Daerah Aliran Sungai Citanduy menjadi kunci pendistribusian air terhadap wilayah disekitarnya. Fungsi DAS yang tidak baik akan mengakibatkan bencana banjir dan kekeringan. Desa Ciganjeng merupakan salah satu desa yang terkena dampak dari hal tersebut. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan bentuk adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat terhadap bencana banjir. Metode yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion. Adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat khususnya petani padi sawah yaitu dengan memanfaatkan faktor alam sebagai pertanda bahwa akan terjadi banjir. Selain itu, penggunaan kalender tanam pranata mangsa juga membantu petani sawah mengantisipasi kegagalan panen. Anggota keluarga petani padi sawah melakukan urbanisasi ke kota untuk menjadi buruh atau pedagang ketika lahan padi sawah mereka terendam banjir demi mencukupi kebutuhan hidupnya. Adaptasi dilakukan supaya dapat bertahan hidup pada kondisi yang tidak sesuai untuk melakukan budidaya padi sawah.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam rangka upaya meningkatkan produksi dan produktivitas, serta menekan biaya produksi usahatani jahe merah melalui penyuluhan kepada para petani di Kelompok Wanita Tani Lingkung Gunung di Desa Sukamantri Kecamatan Sukamantri Kabupaten Ciamis yang bertujuan: 1) meningkatkan pengetahuan petani dalam pengelolaan sistem usahatani jahe merah, 2) meningkatkan pengetahuan petani dalam mengatasi masalah rendahnya produksi dan produktivitas, serta tingginya biaya produksi usahatani jahe merah. Sasaran dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini yaitu para wanita tani yang saat ini mengusahakan jahe merah dan tergabung dalam Kelompok Wanita Tani Lingkung Gunung di Desa Sukamantri Kecamatan Sukamantri Kabupaten Ciamis. Para petani yang telah mengikuti penyuluhan diharapkan akan menyebarkan ilmu pengetahuan yang didapatkannya, terutama kepada masyarakat sekitar yang membutuhkan informasi teknologi budidaya jahe merah. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi teknologi trichokompos yaitu penyuluhan tatap muka, yang disertai kegiatan kunjungan lapangan untuk mengetahui respon penerapannya di Kelompok Wanita Tani. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilaksanakan di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Kecamatan Sukamantri, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 21 orang. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan: 1) respon peserta terhadap kegiatan penyuluhan cukup baik dan antusias, dan 2) para peserta yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan penyuluhan mulai mengaplikasikan rekomendasi teknologi trichokompos untuk budidaya jahe merah.

Pengabdian dilakukan pada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Subur Tani Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Sukaresik Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk: 1) memberikan penyuluhan tentang model KRPL dengan vertikultur dan 2) mendapat gambaran pemanfaatan pekarangan dengan pengembangan lanskap produktif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini di ikuti oleh seluruh anggota KWT Subur Tani sebanyak 15 orang. Tim abdimas bertindak sebagai fasilitator penyuluhan dan pelaksanaan praktik perencanaan lanskap pekarangan vertikultur. Lanskap pekarangan yang dibuat mudah diaplikasikan dan dapat disesuaikan dengan ukuran lahan berapapun. Pekarangan yang luas atau sempit dapat digunakan secara optimal tanpa mengesampingkan syarat tumbuh tanaman itu sendiri. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan penyuluhan dan praktik perencanaan lanskap telah mampu mengubah cara pandang anggota KWT dalam mengusahakan pekarangan yang optimal.

Pengabdian dilakukan pada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Melati II Desa Sukajadi Kecamatan Sadananya Kabupaten Ciamis. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk: 1) untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan kemampuan petani di Kelompok Wanita Tani Melati II Desa Sukajadi Kecamatan Sadananya Kabupaten Ciamis dan 2) Penyampaian informasi berupa penyuluhan teknologi pengemasan dengan metode food wrapping disertai dengan demonstrasi kepada para anggota KWT. Kegiatan pengabdian ini di ikuti oleh seluruh anggota KWT Melati II sebanyak 25 orang. Tim Pengabdian ini di desain untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan kemampuan petani di Kelompok Wanita Tani Melati II Desa Sukajadi Kecamatan Sadananya Kabupaten Ciamis yang dikemas dalam bentuk penyuluhan, demonstrasi, dan pelatihan pengemasan produk pekarangan menggunakan metode food wrapping. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan : 1) Respon peserta terhadap kegiatan penyuluhan cukup baik dan antusias, 2) Para Peserta yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan penyuluhan mulai menerapkan rekomendasi teknologi melalui metode food wrapping terhadap hasil pertanian yaitu berupa sayuran yang dihasikannya.
