Abstract

National identity is a sign or characteristic of a country that can distinguish its characteristics from other countries, because the identity of a country lies in the concept of the country itself. Etymologically, national identity comes from the words "identity" and "national". Identity comes from the word identity which means the existence of a character, trait, or quality related to an individual, group, or something that distinguishes it from others. And National comes from the word nation which means state. And every country is obliged to implement constitutional behavior in the life of the state. Because in general the constitution is the basic principle and law of a nation, state, or community group. Where that determines the power, duties of the government and guarantees certain rights for its citizens.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and understand the role of PAI teachers in fostering religious character during PTMT with a hybrid learning model at SMA Antartika Sidoarjo and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which produces data in the form of written words from the results of interviews, observations and documentation. The results showed that PAI teachers in fostering religious character in PTMT with a hybrid learning model at SMA Antartika Sidoarjo have been able to foster and guide, provide exemplary examples and advice, remind students to behave Islamically in daily life, provide adequate facilities and provide rewards and punishments. for students through the implementation of religious programs, namely congregational prayers, collective prayers, reading and writing the Qur'an, Friday blessing activities, extra religious activities, annual religious activities and the creation of a religious atmosphere at SMA Antarctica Sidoarjo. Several factors that support and inhibit are divided into two factors, namely internal and external. The supporting factors are more dominant on internal factors where the school environment can help optimally to realize the development of students' religious character. While the inhibiting factors are more dominant on external factors, namely the family environment and social environment wherever students are.

Abstract

The development of technology and information has direct consequences on human habits in utilizing them for various daily activities. This reliance on information technology has become so significant that there is even a sense of discomfort experienced when it is absent, including within Muslim communities. Social media is one of the most advanced technologies that is highly sought after and extensively utilized across all levels of society. It serves various purposes, such as facilitating connections between friends, providing access to information and communication, enabling transactions and business activities, fostering new relationships, and much more. However, social media can also have negative consequences when users fail to respond to it properly and wisely. Examples of these consequences include manipulation, offense, disputes, and conflicts. This study employs a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The findings of the study demonstrate that the utilization of social media is effective and positive when users adhere to the various ethics outlined in the Al-Qur'an. The Al-Qur'an emphasizes that the use of social media prohibits the dissemination of fake news or hoaxes. It stresses the importance of validating information before sharing it with others or receiving it. Additionally, it encourages individuals to refrain from criticizing others and to maintain the use of respectful and appropriate language when interacting with fellow human beings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum in developing critical thinking skills in learning Islamic Religious Education at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. Using qualitative research methods, the type of data collected is in the form of qualitative and quantitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation, primary and secondary sources. The data collected was analyzed through the process of data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions, while to check the validity of the data triangulation was carried out with sources and a team of experts. The results of the study show that: 1) The application of the independent curriculum in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education focuses on the activeness of students in the hope that their critical thinking skills will develop; 2) Implementation of the independent learning curriculum in Islamic Religious Education Learning contributes to the development of students' critical thinking skills. 3) Improving the ability to think critically in learning out by teachers using various approaches, strategies, methods, learning techniques, and applying innovative learning media. Teachers train students to think critically by reasoning, assessing and making a decision to determine the advantages and disadvantages that must be faced systematically.
