Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop empathy and social awareness of students through Social Studies (IPS) learning in Elementary Schools (SD). This study uses Literature Study. Qualitative research methods through literature studies. Data analysis techniques with the following steps: collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and verifying data. Sourced from the literature The results of the study are that Social Studies (IPS) Learning has a very important role in developing empathy and social awareness of students at the Elementary School level because IPS learning not only teaches theoretical knowledge, but also becomes an effective means to foster positive social character.

Abstract

Choosing a suitable college major remains a challenge for many high school students. Career guidance, as part of counseling services, plays a crucial role in helping students prepare and plan their future careers. This study aims to explore the implementation of career guidance in supporting students’ decision-making when selecting college majors at SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through interviews and observations involving one guidance and counseling teacher and four 12th-grade students. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the teacher has implemented structured career guidance using various media tools. This approach significantly helped students understand their interests and make informed choices regarding college majors. The guidance process not only addressed students’ confusion but also aligned their decisions with personal potential and academic goals. ____________________________________________________________________Pemilihan jurusan kuliah yang tepat masih menjadi tantangan bagi banyak siswa SMA. Bimbingan karier sebagai bagian dari layanan konseling memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa mempersiapkan dan merencanakan masa depan karier mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan bimbingan karier dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan siswa dalam memilih jurusan kuliah di SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi terhadap satu guru bimbingan dan konseling serta empat siswa kelas XII. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melaksanakan bimbingan karier secara terstruktur dengan bantuan media bimbingan. Pendekatan ini sangat membantu siswa dalam memahami minat dan menentukan pilihan jurusan secara tepat. Proses bimbingan tidak hanya mengurangi kebingungan siswa, tetapi juga membantu mereka menyesuaikan pilihan dengan potensi diri dan tujuan akademik.

Abstract

This article examines the role of HWDI (Indonesian Women with Disabilities Association) in increasing the confidence of people with disabilities in Sukarame Bandar Lampung, where women with disabilities always feel inferior, have low self-esteem, do not have confidence when socializing and are in the midst of society. This paper aims to increase the self-confidence of people with disabilities using group guidance techniques. This research was conducted at HWDI (Indonesian Women with Disabilities Association) Sukarame Bandar Lampung. This research data collection using interviews, observation and documentation with the Snowball sampling technique. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative data validity by means of triangulation and so on. The results of this paper indicate that the process of implementing group guidance for women with disabilities in HWDI is carried out in four stages: the first stage is the formation, the second is the transition, the third is the activity and the fourth is the termination using the Humanistic approach. These four stages can increase the confidence of women with disabilities at HWDI (Indonesian Disabled Women Association) Sukarame Bandar Lampung

Abstract

The problem in this study is how the implementation and role of the management information systems in decision making in the Islamic Board of Islamic Da'wah of Indonesia in Lampung. Data collection was carried out in three ways: interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis used is an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of management information systems in decision making in the Islamic Da'wah Board of Indonesia in Lampung Province is first, a computer-based management information system in which all records and documents can be stored neatly in a computer system and if needed in an easier search because only by searching for the file name, the required archive will be displayed. Second, decision making based on the principle of consensus agreement. While the role of management information systems in decision making in the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Council of Lampung Province is to facilitate leaders in making decisions because the information needed is available, as a material for decision making, as an alternative action in decision making and material for reviewing strategy and organizational plans.

Abstract

A large population growth rate has both positive and negative impacts on national economic development. A large population growth rate will positively open up a wide market to foster economic activities that will create community welfare. However, if the large population growth rate is not utilized properly, it will have a domino effect on various problems. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the management of Quality Village (KB) in realizing community welfare. This research is literature research where the data used is secondary data obtained from scientific articles and other documents relevant to the research. Data analysis in this study was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data categorization, and data verification. The results concluded that the Quality Village (KB) program has contributed to efforts to improve Indonesia's economic development and realize community welfare.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) pengaruh kepemimpinan ketua jurusan terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi mahasiswa Jurusan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung; (2) pengaruh penasehat akademik terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi mahasiswa Jurusan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung; (3) pengaruh kepemimpinan ketua jurusan dan penasehat akademik secara simultan terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi mahasiswa Jurusan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung.Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi MPI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ; (a) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara Kepemimpinan Ketua Prodi terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi Mahasiswa Prodi MPI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,105. (b) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara Dosen Pembimbing Akademik terhadap Motivasi Berprestasi Mahasiswa Prodi MPI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung koefisien regresi sebesar 0,010. (c) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara Kepemimpinan Ketua Prodi dan Dosen Pembimbing Akademik dengan Motivasi Berprestasi Mahasiswa Prodi MPI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Intan Lampung dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,242. Key word: Kepemimpinan, dosen pembimbing akademik, motivasi berprestasi

Abstract

Social awareness is a vital character trait shaped by educational patterns and internalized values. One of the most effective ways to cultivate this trait is through multicultural education, particularly when implemented in school settings. This educational approach fosters key attitudes among students—such as respect, acceptance of differences, and the ability to collaborate across ethnic and cultural boundaries. Through these attitudes, students develop a deeper national consciousness grounded in an appreciation for diversity. This study aims to explore effective pedagogical strategies for internalizing cultural diversity values and to identify the challenges educators face in this process. The goal is to move beyond merely recognizing differences as social realities and toward embracing them as strengths that support a harmonious and inclusive society. The outcome of this research is the development of a contextual multicultural education model tailored for school environments. This model seeks to equip students not only with knowledge about cultural diversity but also with the social competencies to act inclusively, fairly, and tolerantly. Multicultural education, therefore, serves as a foundational element in shaping a generation that is aware of human dignity and capable of coexisting peacefully within a pluralistic society. The study adopts a descriptive qualitative method, relying on conceptual analysis of previous research, relevant theories, and credible academic sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of how multicultural education can effectively nurture students’ social awareness.

Abstract

Education is the main basis for the development of society and the country. The Community Service Program (KKN) is one way to involve students from universities in improving the quality of education in certain areas. This research aims to examine the role of Real Work Lecture (KKN) students in developing innovative learning methods at SMPN Satap 9 Pesawaran. Education is an important aspect in community development, but many challenges are faced by educational institutions, including less attractive learning methods and low student engagement. Through a qualitative approach, data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to understand the experiences of KKN students and their impact on the learning process. The research results show that KKN students have succeeded in implementing innovative learning methods, such as project-based learning and cooperative learning, which can increase student motivation and involvement. KKN students play an active role in the teaching and learning process. They not only act as observers but also as facilitators who help improve learning methods. KKN students contribute to teaching training, assist, and create an interactive learning atmosphere by using creative learning strategies. Apart from that, they also implement programs aimed at increasing students' interest in learning, including learning activities outside of school and providing motivation. However, KKN students also face various challenges, including differences in student learning styles, limited technological knowledge, and obstacles. Resource. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of appropriate support for KKN students so that they can continue to make positive contributions in improving the quality of education at SMPN Satap 9 Pesawaran. It is hoped that innovation in learning methods will continue and have a significant impact on students, teachers, and society.
