Abstract

In the era of digitalization, the role of technology needs to be maximized to make it easier for someone to continue to do good to others, one of which is through digitization in giving donations or charity. Through digitalization, the community will be facilitated in distributing Zakat, infaq, and sadaqah whenever and wherever. The purpose of this research and community service are 1) To provide an understanding to the community about the use of QRIS (QR Code Indonesian Standard) as a ZIS (Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah) digitalization medium; 2) to assist in making QRIS at the Baitul Muttaqien Mosque in Glinggang Village as a digital media for ZIS; 3) Providing understanding to the community in general, and the residents of Glinggang Village in particular, that paying ZIS to help others, can still be done amid all forms of restrictions, such as during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this community service research is the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Driven) method with six stages including 1) Discovery; 2) Dream; 3) Design; 4) Define; 5) Destiny; and 6) Reflection. This community service research was carried out from June to August 2021. The reflection results show that the people in Glinggang Village generally provide excellent feedback on the implementation of the community service program. Through this community service activity, the hopes and dreams of the Glinggang Village community to take an early step by digitizing various aspects of life, especially in the religious aspect, can be realized.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the stages of implementing the peer tutoring method in the learning process and the implementation of the Gerakan Siswa Mengajar (GSM) at SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan, Madiun Regency. Data collection techniques used in this study using triangulation techniques. Data and sources of research data were obtained through interviews with resource persons involved and related in the implementation of peer tutoring learning methods, namely coaches, teachers, and class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan Madiun Regency, observing the implementation of the Gerakan Siswa Mengajar (GSM), documentation and literature as a source of supporting data. Analysis of research data was carried out in three stages, namely the stage of data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions (conclusion drawing). The data reduction stage of this research was carried out by focusing on the research data and summarizing the main points of the research, the stage of presenting the data in the form of narratives and explanations, and the stage of drawing conclusions through drawing conclusions and conclusions from the research results from existing data. The results showed that: (1) The stages of implementing the peer tutoring method in the GSM program (Gerakan Siswa Mengajar) at SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan Madiun Regency included three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. (2) In its implementation, the GSM (Gerakan Siswa Mengajar) program at SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan applies a creative, innovative and fun system, the aim is to optimize the active role of students in the learning process, as an effort to increase student test scores, especially in the graduation exam and national exam (UN), optimizing academic potential and character values ​​in students, as well as realizing a creative, innovative, and fun learning process.

Abstract

Konsentrasi siswa merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting dalam suatu proses pembelajaran. Konsentrasi yang baik dapat membantu siswa untuk menyerap dan mengingat informasi yang diterima dengan lebih baik. Sebaliknya, konsentrasi yang buruk dapat menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam mengikuti pelajaran, mengurangi hasil belajar, dan meningkatkan kemungkinan siswa untuk mengalami kejenuhan atau kebosanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai (1) Pola pembelajaran SKI di MTs Al Islam Joresan Ponorogo (2) Strategi peningkatan konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Al Islam Joresan Ponorogo pada mata pelajaran SKI (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat peningkatan konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Al Islam Joresan Ponorogo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pemahaman fenomena yang terjadi pada subjek selama proses penelitian yang kemudian dideskripsikan dalam bentuk narasi. Subjek penelitian adalah berbagai pihak yang berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran SKI kelas VII MTs Al Islam Joresan Ponorogo, di antaranya adalah guru SKI, wali kelas, dan peserta didik. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru SKI MTs Al Islam Joresan Ponorogo mempraktikkan beberapa strategi untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi siswa kelas VII, seperti melakukan pemanasan, menjaga lingkungan kelas kondusif, menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang beragam, memberikan tugas yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat siswa, mengajak siswa bermain game yang berkaitan dengan materi, melakukan tanya jawab, memberikan waktu istirahat cukup, serta memberikan motivasi dan apresiasi. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan konsentrasi siswa antara lain keadaan fisik yang optimal, motivasi dari pendidik, lingkungan dan fasilitas, metode pembelajaran, serta pengaruh teman sebaya. Pola pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru di antaranya meminta siswa mengulas pembelajaran terdahulu, berdo'a sebelum memulai pembelajaran, mencatat materi penting, dan mengajukan pertanyaan mengenai hal-hal yang belum dimengerti.

Abstract

Class size reduction (CSR) program is a policy that has been implemented in the world of education to improve the quality of teaching and learning. This research aims to provide a historical review of CSR and its positive impact on education. Through library research, this study collects information on the CSR concept, evaluates CSR programs that have been implemented in various countries, and analyzes the positive impacts of those programs, such as increased teacher attention, improved social interaction, higher academic achievement, better teacher job satisfaction, enhanced equity, fewer discipline problems, more time for instruction, more time for individualization, and more varied instructional learning strategy. However, there are also criticisms of CSR, such as the high cost and the lack of consistent empirical evidence regarding its impact on student academic achievement. This study concludes that CSR is a promising policy for improving the quality of education, but its implementation requires careful consideration and evaluation. The findings of this study can provide insights for policymakers and education practitioners in deciding to implement CSR in their schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational messages related to character education and environmental conservation in the film The Lion King (1994). Using a qualitative research design and content analysis, the film's narrative structure, dialogue, and visual elements were analyzed to identify key themes and sub-themes related to character education and environmental conservation. The results reveal that The Lion King contains important educational messages related to responsibility, leadership, respect for nature, and the interconnectedness of all living things. These findings highlight the potential of films as a tool for promoting positive values and education. The study's implications for education and media literacy are discussed, emphasizing the importance of incorporating media into educational curricula to enhance students' understanding of important concepts and foster critical thinking and analysis skills. Overall, this study shows that films, such as The Lion King, can be a valuable tool for promoting positive values and education, especially for character education and environmental conservation. The findings suggest that educators can use media content analysis as a means to identify and analyze the educational messages embedded in films, and incorporate these messages into educational curricula to enhance students' learning and development.
