Abstract

The success of entrepreneurship education programs remains unanswered if it is associated with some students who have decided to launch and pursue a business venture. It is important to know the intentions of a nascententrepreneur to start up the business ventures persistently if experts and policy makers’ attentions are drawn on how to arouse interest in starting a business. Quantitative approached was used in this research to examine the influence of entrepreneurship education, social norms and self-efficacy on intentions to pursue business ventures by adopting Linan model of intention-behavior. The model was addressed to the students who participated in entrepreneurship education program during the mid of study in Bina Nusantara University. Last, the result is in line with Linan model.

Abstract

This research mapped the phenomena that occured in students who are taking classes entrepreneurship that was limited by entrepreneurial knowledge, personal attitude, social norms and self-efficacy. Using descriptive statistics on the answers of 794 respondents, who were students of Bina Nusantara University, produced a variety of results. Based on entrepreneurial knowledge, students still felt hesitant to be able to start and run the entrepreneurial process. On the other hand, self-efficacy and personal attitude reflect a positive thing associated, while the support of family and the environment around where they livevalued invariety. Although this research discovered phenomenon using all the attributes having impacts on entrepreneurship intention, potential students who are properly trained have a probability of playing a leading role in this regard. The benefits that can be expected from this research are useful in identifying suitable students for any entrepreneurial activity in the future with the support of educational institutions, families, and the government as a whole to form the atmosphere of an entrepreneurial culture.

Abstract

The research aimed to provide a systematic literature review of the available research evidence on crowdfunding. Tenets of keyword search and fit analysis were used to review the term of crowdfunding. It was used to reveal the ambiguity and variations in the literature, and to create a mapping for further research. This research explored and tried to form a corridor for crowdfunding according to business models, intermediary platforms, the planned strategy, the emergence of risks and decisions, regulation and governance, the value creation, and other thingssuch as humanitarian and other non-financial matter. The result shows that research in the business models of crowdfunding platform and successful strategy is the preferred topics. Then, it mostly comes from European and North America according to the number of publications.
