Abstract

The success of entrepreneurship education programs remains unanswered if it is associated with some students who have decided to launch and pursue a business venture. It is important to know the intentions of a nascententrepreneur to start up the business ventures persistently if experts and policy makers’ attentions are drawn on how to arouse interest in starting a business. Quantitative approached was used in this research to examine the influence of entrepreneurship education, social norms and self-efficacy on intentions to pursue business ventures by adopting Linan model of intention-behavior. The model was addressed to the students who participated in entrepreneurship education program during the mid of study in Bina Nusantara University. Last, the result is in line with Linan model.

Abstract

Polymer clay art is one of the creative businesses that are recently starting to get a lot of attentions. To prepare a startup business in this field, analysis from a lot of aspects is needed. The purpose of this article was to explain the approach of the polymer clay art business startup from the market segmentation, customer, and value proposition side of the business. The method was applied by analyzing those steps in details. The analysis started from brainstorming to choose the market matching to business, the customer side, value proposition, and between both aspects. The result of the analysis shows the business focus of the polymer clay art business, where the value propositions are focusing on unique decorations, and several types of customer segments.

Abstract

Production Management is the act of designing, operating, and improving the productive systems – a system for getting the work done. Along the process, the synergy in between machineries, facilities and people could empower the sustainable of the production. In fact, for some cases, the implementation of unique system is needed for the production process. The example for this transformation production management is in the case of CV Wiracana, a handmade manufacturing company for folding hand fans from Bali. CV Wiracanas products are very unique, combined from mass production for the speed and an art for the custom made product. At one side, the market forces them to speed up the production and for this purpose, they must set up the new system on their production line. On the other side, the masterpiece also needs to be produced without jeopardizing mass production line schedule. The transformation production system needs to be done no later than 2015 as the urgency to fulfill the customer demand, business growth, compete in the industry and sustainability. The changes are expected to improve the production at least about 20% or doubled from the current production.

Abstract

The food and beverages industry has been growing rapidly, making the competition in this industry higher. Therefore, innovation is needed to survive. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Food Quality and Service Quality on the Customer Satisfaction of hot plate restaurants? consumers, which in turn will have an impact on Repurchase Intention. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach, using a Likert Scale as a measurement method. Data analysis uses the structural equation modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS 3.0 tools. The population of this study is XYZ hot plate restaurants? consumers in Sunter and Bekasi, age 16-40 years old, with the status of students, employees, or entrepreneurs. Survey were done within 6 months on 2018 to 2019. The minimum sample needed for this research is 100 samples by using the Slovin formula. The results of this study show significant and positive effects, both individually and simultaneously, between Food Quality and Service Quality to Customer Satisfaction and its impact on Repurchase Intention. Therefore, in order to compete with others, XYZ hot plate restaurants should (1) Improve and maintain their foods and drinks, (2) Maintain their employees? credibility, and (3) Reduce the waiting list.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the factors of social media capability impact on business sustainability during Covid-19 pandemic. This survey is taken from Jakarta online SMEs. This research is using a quantitative approach method and uses 101 samples. In analyzing data, we use Structural Equation Model (SEM) by using SmartPLS application. Our result shows that social media capability does not have an impact directly on business sustainability but has an impact indirectly mediated by innovation performance. This study suggests that online SMEs should take the advantage of social media capability and make an innovation for their products/services to make their business sustainable.

Abstract

Culinary business has been an important part of Indonesia’s Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). Currently, this industry has been affected by COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to show how innovation capability mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation towards culinary business performance in Jakarta, Indonesia. This study creates a conceptual model based on the literature review of antecedents of culinary business performance. This paper shows the important concept of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation towards business performance with innovation capability as the mediating variable. The novelty of this study is in the importance of innovation capability for helping culinary business in Jakarta to survive the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to reveal if there exists a quality-enjoyment-social influence-satisfaction-loyalty gap among gamers when it comes to playing the game Valorant. The study used a deductive and quantitative research approach by conducting an online survey which was distributed with a non-probability convenience sampling technique toward Valorant game players in Indonesia. The survey resulted in 96 valid responses which was quantitatively analyzed. The findings revealed that there exists a quality-enjoyment-social influence-satisfaction-loyalty gap among gamers in Indonesia when it comes to the context of the game Valorant. The most influential determinant affecting customer satisfaction was perceived enjoyment, and the most affecting loyalty was perceived quality. The suggested e-sports experience will contribute to the growing body of knowledge aimed at understanding e-sports consumer behavior.

Abstract

Objective – Along with the rapid development of information technology and the increasing number of websites, search engines like Google will be increasingly strict in sorting out the best websites that have useful information for their users. This causes website owners to increasingly aggressively improve the quality and popularity of their websites in various ways, such as using advertisements, branding on social media, to the use of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to support the quality of the website so that it can compete in search engine ranking results. Methodology – Method used in this research is by redesigning the user interface and applying SEO methods. Findings – Being able to improve the metrics of the website can be significantly improved both from its UR and DR and increase visitor traffic as a source of profit for a website. Novelty – This research was conducted on a new website that initially had not implemented SEO and had not been maximized in designing its User Interface. The method of analysis that is used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data analysis is performed using AMOS Software. Collection of data in this research uses questionnaire that is aimed at respondents which are start-ups located in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi area (Jabodetabek).
