Abstract

Data Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia (APJII) menyebut populasi penduduk Indonesia pada tahun 2017 mencapai 262 Juta jiwa. Lebih dari 50 persen  penduduk atau sekitar 143 juta jiwa dari populasi memiliki akses internet. Sebagian besar fasilitas yang diakses adalah transaksi belanja online dengan menggunakan e-commerce.  E-commerce kini menjadi bagian life style yang tidak terpisahkan dalam tatanan kehidupan sosial. Konsumen lebih memilih melakukan transaksi hanya dalam genggaman tangan. Praktis, efisien dan memiliki fleksibilitas waktu. E-commerce mengubah banyak tatanan baru karena keberadaannya mendorong UKM, pengusaha besar dan pemain baru dalam bisnis untuk mencoba peruntungan dalam penjualan digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sebuah media penjualan online bagi UKM Mira Karya dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnisnya demi mencapai kemajuan usaha dengan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik atau Good Corporate Governance.

Abstract

The aim of this Classroom Action Research is to increase students’learning motivation and students’ narative text writingskill, by using Think Pair Share and Picture and Picture. This research is conducted at class VIII-8SMP Negeri 1 Ciomas of Bogor regency in  Academic Year 2014-2015. The research is done by two cycles, each cycles consists of two actions. The deficiencies of the first cycle is reflected and improved in the second cycle. The goals’ criteria are  achieved in the second cycle, it means that the classroom management by using Think Pair Share and Picture and Picture has been succeeded, so the reasearch is stopped. Based on the result of the research, students’ enthusiasm in the first cycle, 92,36% increases to 96,005% in the second cycle, students' learning motivation,78% in the first cycle increases to 83.8% in the second cycle. Students’ narrative text writing skills in the first cycle,72%  increases to 81% in the second cycle. So it can be concluded that the result of the research showsthe classroom management by using Think Pair Share and Picture and Pictureis proved increasingenthusiasm, learning motivation and narrative text writing skill of the eighth grade of students’SMP Negeri 1 Ciomas of Bogor regency.  Keywords: Think Pair Share (TPS), Picture and Picture (PP) , learning motivation, writing skill.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social inequality portrayed in the Parasit movie directed by Bong Joon Ho. For research method, a qualitative approach is chosen to be applied which is content analysis as research design. In collecting the data, the writers use the Parasite movie as an object of the research, and search a lot of references from the internet and libraries to support the theories as baselines of analysis. Parasite movie depicts the two families’ lives, Park's family and Kim's family, where the social conditions and the daily lifestyles are very contrastive; the first family is rich and wealth and the later one is poor and deprivation. These social inequalities reflect a social phenomenon in the real world which becomes the motives for fraudulent and greedy character and gradually leads to criminal actions. The gaps between both families are demonstrated in some aspects, such as economy and work, education, house, food, and fashion. And the disparities shown by those elements indicate where the social class they belong and what the impact to their life.

Abstract

Feminism is a women's movement in seeking equality to be equal to men in any way, including relationships. In this study, the writers’ purpose of analyzing The Girl on the Train movie is to find out the kind of feminism, the causes of feminism that influence the main character, and the moral message contained in the movie. The writers use qualitative research methods in describing and analyzing this movie. The writers also do library research to find many references from books or the internet which are useful to support this paper, especially the theories. After analyzing the movie, the writers found one of four kinds of feminism which is Liberal Feminism. Liberal feminism is women's liberation about certain aspects of themselves or their lives. They claim that women have the same capacities as men, and have the same rational thinking as men. Another result, there are also two causes of feminism that influence the main character in this movie, namely betrayal, and domestic abuse. Besides that, this movie sends moral messages. This movie tells about women who are treated unfairly and experience many painful things in the relationship. The women must dare to defend themselves and fight men who are cruel to them. And every woman will help another woman in any situation, even if it threatens her.

Abstract

Literature is a record of human life experience either his or her own experience or others. There are three genres of literature, fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. The movie is included in fiction genre. Movie is one of the most popular fiction. The purpose of movie is to entertain the audience and to be able to take positive lessons from movie. The writer focuses on post-traumatic stress disorder of main character in Every Thing Will Be Fine movie. In Every Thing Will Be Fine movie tells about main character of Tomas Eldan. Descriptive qualitative method is used in this research. In analyzing post-traumatic stress dissorder in this movie, the post- traumatic stress disorder is divided into three parts: the types of post-traumatic stress disorder, the causes of post-traumatic stress disorder, and the effect of post-traumatic stress disorder. Before analyzing post-traumatic disorder, it needs to summarize the story and analyze the main character. The results are got from the types, the causes and the effect of post- traumatic stress disorder that happened to the main character of this movie, Tomas Eldan. All parts of post-traumatic stress disorder can be seen after the main character got the accident that occurred while he was driving and waiting twelve years examining the effect of the tragedy on his life and traumatized him. So the post-traumatic stress disorder is happened in this movie, such as self-injury, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, alcoholic use, and depression.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the leadership of Phineas Taylor Barnum that exists in the main character of The Greatest Showman movie. Leadership is an important part of an organization. Leadership is the process by which an individual influences a group of people to achieve a goal. This musical movie tells the story of a circus founder, Phineas Taylor Barnum with a leadership attitude. In this descriptive qualitative study, the writers collect the data from the scene and the conversation in the movie and material with a variety of resources such as books, journals, articles, and other references. After watching the movie repeatedly and collecting the data by paying attention to the conversation in the movie's scenes, the writers study the whole story before continuing to the next step, then analyzing what the story is all about. The types of leadership that were found in this movie are (1) Democratic Leadership, (2) Laissez-faire Leadership, and (3) Transformational Leadership. While there are three impacts of leadership that indeed to Phineas Taylor Barnum as the main character in The Greatest Showman, namely (1) Inspiring Confidence For Others, (2) Creating A Respectful Environment, and Raisings Loyalty and Trust. This movie shows many things to be a good leader who can bring a big impact on people. We are all leaders in our lives. So, this movie gives us so many things that we can learn to have a better life.

Abstract

An organization can achieve its goals if it is supported by competent human resources and experts in their fields. To get these competent human resources, good performance is needed from all employees. Various factors are needed so that employees can provide maximum results at work, one of which is leadership. This study aims to determine how much leadership influences employee performance at PT Cipta Manunggal Sukses Bogor. The research method used was descriptive quantitative by distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents and analyzing the data using SPSS 25. From the results of this study, leadership has a fairly good influence on employee performance which can be seen from the correlation test of 0.799, which states that the correlation between leadership and employee performance is quite high. The results of the determination test showed the number 0.638, or it can be interpreted that leadership affects 63.8% of employee performance. The results of the regression equation test obtained a significant value of 0.00<0.005 with the equation Y = 12.904 + 0.602x, which means that the leadership brought is good in its role so that employee performance increases.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the code mixing used by Maudy Ayunda on the Youtube Channel. Code mixing has become a recent phenomenon, and is often used by young people today in their communications. One young person who often does code-mixing in these conversations is an actress, Maudy Ayunda. This might happen because he has an educational background abroad, namely English as his first language. In this research, the writer uses descriptive qualitative method. And for the analysis of the types of code mixing used by Maudy Ayunda, the authors apply Muysken and Hoffman's theory. From Muysken's theory, code mixing is divided into three parts, namely, insertion, substitution, and congruent lexicalization. Meanwhile, from Hoffman's theory, the type of code mixing is divided into three parts, namely intra-centential, intra-lexical, and involving changes in pronunciation. The results of the analysis of the two theories produce 39 data. The most dominant type of code mixing used in videos is alternation. Keywords : Code Mixing, Type of Code Mixing, Maudy Ayunda

Abstract

The goal of the research is to analyze the leadership that Jean Valjean shown in Les Miserables Movie directed by Tom Hooper. This research focuses on two aspects, the type and the impact of the leadership. The type of leadership that are found in this movie are (1) Laissez-faire leadership and (2) Servant leadership. While There are three impact of leadership that indeed to Jean Valjean as the main character in Les Miserables, they are (1) Inspiring confidence for others (2) Creating a respectful environment and (3) Increasing loyalty and trust. The Les Miserables Movie is a perfect movie for analyzing leadership, as it tells about the life of Jean Valjean who tries keeping himself in fire even though there are so many inside and outside difficulties in his life as a prisoner and after he has been released on parole. According to (Almaki et al., 2016) leadership is not just about power and authority, but it is a set of characteristics that should be owned by the leader. This movie shows many things to be a good leader who can bring a big impact to people. As a leader we must have faith, forgive the enemies and belief, there will always be a brighter tomorrow. We are all leaders in our lives. So, this movie gives us so many things that we can learn to have better life.
