Abstract

Indonesia's vision for 2025 is to become an advanced knowledge-based society. This can be achieved by implementing e-government or digitizing government, from the central government down to the lowest level of government, namely the village administration. However, not all Nagari in West Sumatra can operate and serve the population optimally due to limitations in producing transparent and timely information. This activity aims to implement the digitalization of the Nagari Government using the website-based Nagari Management Information System (SIMNag). This activity is in collaboration with the Wali Nagari Kamang Mudiak. The implementation method is through a lecture approach, practice, and question and answer. Participants in the SIMNag socialization activity involved the Wali Nagari, Wali Jorong, Nagari officials, and residents of Nagari Kamang Mudiak. The activity was carried out at the Wali Nagari Kamang Mudiak Office, District. Kamang Magek, Regency. Religion. The result of this activity is the creation of a Nagari Kamang Mudiak Nagari Information System (SIMNag), which is helpful for the Nagari Government in five stages of E-Government by providing Nagari Profile information, facilitating two-way communication between Residents and Migrants; integration between residents and Nagari apparatus through the Nagari Tageh menu; residents and migrants can update their data; community participation for the progress of the Nagari through the complaint and aspiration system menu. SIMNag is also equipped with electronic mail and electronic archives.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance on loss severity and recovery time of non-financial companies in Southeast Asia during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis in 2020-2021. The number of observations in this study is 1010, with 662 companies in 2021 and 348 companies in 2020. This study uses a quantitative method with secondary data obtained from Refinitiv Eikon Thomson Reuters. Unbalanced panel data regression analysis was performed using STATA version 17. The results showed that ESG performance and environmental performance had a positive and significant effect on the severity of losses and stock recovery during the crisis. Social performance has no effect on the severity of losses and recovery time during a crisis. Governance performance has no effect on the severity of losses, but has a positive and significant effect on the stock recovery time during a crisis. These findings indicate that investors in Southeast Asia have not prioritized the ESG aspect in their investment decisions, and even consider it as a burden or short-sighted investors. This research recommends to investors to develop investment strategies based on socially responsible investment and to regulators to develop a better and more detailed framework related to assessing ESG performance.

Abstract

Currently, homestays in the city of Payakumbuh generally do not maximize the use of information systems. This is due to a lack of understanding among homestay owners about appropriate governance methods and a shortage of knowledge regarding computer-based information system management and homestay operation capabilities. The objective of this activity is to implement a homestay management information system in the city of Payakumbuh. The method employed for this activity is training. A total of 23 homestay owners in Payakumbuh participated in the training. This initiative aims to implement a website-based information system to enhance homestay owners' understanding of effective governance, computer-based information system management, and operational capabilities in managing homestay systems. The outcomes of this initiative include improved capabilities among homestay owners to effectively utilize the Website-Based Homestay Management Information System. This training not only benefits homestay owners but also faculty, departments, and the university. It creates opportunities for homestay managers to collaborate and share experiences, thereby strengthening the SME community in the homestay sector in Payakumbuh. The implementation of a website-based information system in homestay management is intended to expand promotional networks, catering not only to local tourists but also to international visitors. In conclusion, this training program has significantly benefited homestay managers and has the potential to support local economic growth and the development of the tourism sector in the Payakumbuh region. It is anticipated that this initiative will contribute knowledge towards homestay management development and the application of information technology in the tourism sector.

Abstract

This research has an intention to evaluate the implementation of IT governance in a private hospital (Hospital X) in Padang city by using COBIT 4.1 framework; and to recommend IT governance practices that can improve IT governance at the hospital in the future. COBIT 4.1 provides model of processes found in IT activities in 4 domain, Plan and Organize (PO), Acquire and Implement (AI), Deliver and Support (DS), and Monitor and Evaluate (ME). Data were collected by using document evaluation, interview and observations. The result showed that IT governance implementation at the hospital has not achieved the best practice yet. The existence of activities related to IT governance is defined, but inconsistency still happens. There are 28 IT processes out of 34 IT processes and 110 detailed control objectives exist out of 210 detailed control objectives. The identified IT processes show the existing IT activities in the hospital support the achievement of its strategy and objectives. Control objectives of each IT process needs to be implemented for more effective process. The hospital should optimize the practices of each IT process for optimal results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris pengaruh Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) terhadap firm value bagi perusahaan yang menerapkan Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) pada perusahaan barang baku dan perindustrian. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini ialah firm value dan ERM sebagai variabel independen. Objek penelitian ialah perusahaan barang baku dan perindustrian yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2019-2021. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 132 perusahaan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan pursosive sampling. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model regresi linier sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang mana firm falue diukur menggunakan Tobins Q yang dilihat dari laporan keuangan dan komponen ERM dilihat dari pengungkapan manajemen risiko didalam laporan tahunan. Pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS versi 26. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ERM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap firm value pada perusahaan barang baku dan perindustrian yang menerapkan ERP dan terdaftar di BEI periode 2019-2021. Objek penelitian adalah perusahaan barang mentah dan industri yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2019-2021. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 132 perusahaan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel pursosive sampling. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model regresi linier sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dimana nilai perusahaan diukur dengan menggunakan Tobin's Q dilihat dari laporan keuangan dan komponen ERM dilihat dari pengungkapan manajemen risiko pada laporan tahunan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present empirical data regarding the impact of system quality, information quality, service quality, and system security on user satisfaction among West Sumatera BCA mobile banking customers. Data for this study were obtained through an online survey completed by 235 participants. The analysis indicates that both system quality and information quality significantly and positively influence user satisfaction. Conversely, service quality and system security do not demonstrate a notable effect. These insights are valuable for service providers, emphasizing the importance of enhancing system functionality, ensuring the accuracy of information, improving service delivery, and strengthening system security to better align with user expectations. Additionally, mobile banking users are encouraged to take these four elements into account when choosing a digital banking platform to ensure a more efficient and satisfying experience.
