Abstract

Abstract The great consciousness to the character internalization of students through education begins from the government’s concern to the students who have been doing the decency value for example dishonest, no discipline, no respect for teachers, truancy, late which is often done by school students. This research was conducted to reveal the character of students trough the integration character value on PAI learning that held in MTs Maarif Jangkaran, MTs Maarif Wates, MTs Muhammadiyah Wates and MTs Muhammadiyah Sentolo. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, with data collection done by observation complemented by interviews and documentation. The results showed that all private MTs at Kulon Progo district integrate the character (religious, honest, independent, communicative, responsible and democratic) in the PAI study done by a particular emphasis on offensive material value problem. In general, the integration of /characters in PAI learning to be effective, because it is supported by the enough facilities at the four private MTs, although there are obstacles integrating character values such as the perception of teachers PAI equalize the character with morals. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mengetahui Implementasi Kebijakan e- KTP Dalam Mewujudkan Tertib Administrasi Kependudukan di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Desa Jetis Kecamatan Kaliwungu Kabupaten Semarang. 2) Mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi Program e KTP dalam rangka tertib administrasi kependudukan di Desa Jetis Kecamatan Kaliwungu Kabupaten Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis sosiologis. Penelitian yuridis sosiologis adalah jenis penelitian berupa studi – studi empiris untuk menemukan teori – teori mengenai proses terjadinya dan mengenai proses bekerjanya hukum di Indonesia. Menggunakan jenis penelitian pustaka (library research). Penelitian pustaka ini dilakukan dengan cara mencari, mengumpulkan, dan mempelajari peraturan perundang-undangan dan bahan hukum lain yang terkait dengan objek penelitian. Spesifikasi penelitian dalam penelitian hukum ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder dengan menggunakan bahan hukum primer, sekunder dan tersier. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: 1) Pelaksanaan kebijakan implementasi program E-KTP ini ada dua cara untuk mendongkrak kinerja birokrasi dalam pelaksanaan program E-KTP, yaitu Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) dan Fragmentasi. Dengan adanya program E-KTP ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi pemerintah, salah satunya pemerintah tidak mengalami lagi kesulitan untuk mendata jumlah warga wajib KTP. Terjadinya tidak tertib administrasi yang dilakukan oleh warga dalam pembuatan KTP manual pada saat itu disebabkan oleh banyak hal, salah satunya karena warga merasa sistemnya berbelit-belit. 2) Kendala yang dihadapi Program e KTP dalam rangka tertib administrasi kependudukan di Desa Jetis Kecamatan Kaliwungu Kabupaten Semarang : Pertama, faktor sarana dan prasana, Kedua, ketersediaan dan kualitas blangko KTP elektronik. Ketiga, sarana antrean, listrik, jaringan internet dan ada pungutan liar dan percaloan.

Abstract

Purpose – This study analyses the transformation of state religious school (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri/MAN) competencies in Indonesia following the 1975 Joint Ministerial Decree. It explores the decree’s implications for integrating Islamic values into the national curriculum and its impacts on education quality. Design/methods/approach – A qualitative approach with a multi-site case study design was used. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, including principals, teachers, and alums from three public religious schools in Yogyakarta. Observations and document analyses complemented the interviews, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the decree’s implementation. Findings – The findings reveal significant variations in implementing the decree across schools. Schools with robust resources and community support effectively integrated the national curriculum with Islamic values, enhancing religious and academic competencies. However, schools with limited resources faced challenges balancing modern academic demands with preserving Islamic identity. Research implications/limitations – The study underscores the importance of tailored policy implementation, considering local contexts and resource availability. A limitation is that it focuses on a specific geographic region, which may not fully capture national variations. Originality/value – This research provides original insights into the interplay between Islamic education and modern educational demands in Indonesia. It contributes to the discourse on integrating traditional religious education within contemporary frameworks to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to describe the interconnection between Islamic Religious Education and science to enlarge the student‟s quality achivement at SMA Islam Al Azhar 09 Yogyakarta. It is used Amin Abdullah‟s discourse (interconnected), data were collected by observation and in-depth interview toward selected respondents. The result of research reveal it is run according to the goal and curriculum, students have holistic competency in PAI dan science, although obstacles were encountered in its aplication. Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan interkoneksi Pendidikan Agama Islam dan sain guna peningkatan kualitas out put siswa di SMA Islam Al Azhar 09 Yogyakarta. Memanfaatkan kajian teorinya Amin Abdullah (Interconnected) data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap responden yang terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses interkoneksi PAI dan sain di SMA Islam ini telah berjalan sesuai tujuan dan kurikulum yang ada, sehingga siswa dapat memiliki out put yang holistik terkait dengan pemahaman PAI dan sain, meskipun juga ditemui beberapa kendala terhadap penerapannya.

Abstract

The function of educational institutions has occasionally been crucial, particularly in the development of the younger generation to be more qualified. Through the educational institutions of the practitioners, the younger generation is formed, among other things. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of the leader of Ma’had Al-Buuss Al-Islamiah in Islamic Generation Building in Raman Yala, and what is the leadership's biggest challenge? This research is a qualitative study that is used to analyse phenomena, beliefs, and the way that both individuals and groups of people think. Primary data types, which can be examined and acquired on-site, are used in research. Ways for gathering data, including documentation, interviews, and observation. Data analysis through data reduction, data display, and inference. Data approval using source triangulation techniques. This investigation found that the role of Master Haji Muhammad Ramli Kora was very influential in the education institutions and the public in particular in the district of Raman Province of Yala.

Abstract

Busari Afeez Babatunde: The Influence of Islamic Education on Traditional Values in Yoruba Society. Master’s Program in Islamic Education (S-2 Pendidikan Agama Islam), Faculty of Tarbiya and Teacher Training, Alma Ata University, Yogyakarta. Yoruba society has experienced long-standing interaction between indigenous cultural traditions and Islamic education, which has shaped moral conduct, social norms, and communal life. However, despite the deep historical presence of Islam in Yorubaland, there remains a research gap in understanding how Islamic education specifically influences, preserves, reshapes, or negotiates traditional Yoruba values in contemporary society. This study aims to examine the major traditional values upheld in Yoruba society, describe the influence of Islamic education on the social and cultural life of the Yoruba people, and identify the factors that contribute to either harmony or tension between Islamic educational teachings and Yoruba traditional values. The research employed a qualitative research design using a descriptive and analytical approach. The population of the study consisted of Yoruba Muslim communities in Southwestern Nigeria, with 150 population comprising Islamic scholars, parents, and students selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews from 60 participants and document analysis, while data validity was ensured through triangulation. The data were analyzed thematically, guided by Berger’s Social Construction of Reality Theory, particularly the stages of externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The results reveal that Islamic education significantly reinforces core Yoruba traditional values such as festival, dressing, and moral uprightness, while reforming certain cultural practices to align with Islamic monotheism. Islamic education provides a moral framework that complements Yoruba ethical principles and supports cultural continuity amid modern challenges. The study concludes that Islamic education plays a crucial role in moral transformation and cultural preservation, fostering a balanced coexistence between faith, tradition, and modernity within Yoruba society.

Abstract

Vocabulary acquisition in language learning frequently encounters challenges due to abstract instructional approaches, which often diminish student motivation and enthusiasm. This literature review aims to examine the effectiveness of introducing concrete objects in enhancing students’ learning enthusiasm during vocabulary instruction. A systematic literature review was conducted by analyzing peer-reviewed journal articles, educational books, and pedagogical reports published between 2015 and 2024. Data were retrieved from ERIC, Scopus, and Google Scholar using keywords such as “concrete objects,” “vocabulary learning,” “student motivation,” and “tangible pedagogy.” Inclusion criteria prioritized empirical and theoretical studies investigating multisensory or physical learning aids in lexical instruction. The synthesized findings reveal that integrating concrete objects significantly increases student engagement, vocabulary retention, and learning enthusiasm. Tactile and visual stimuli activate multiple cognitive pathways, transforming abstract lexical items into accessible and memorable concepts. Furthermore, object-based instruction fosters interactive classroom environments, reduces language anxiety, and stimulates intrinsic motivation, particularly among young learners and second-language students. However, optimal outcomes depend on contextual relevance, teacher facilitation, and alignment with curricular goals. Ultimately, concrete object integration proves to be a highly effective pedagogical strategy for revitalizing learning enthusiasm in vocabulary education.

Abstract

This theoretical study addresses the persistently low science literacy among Indonesian elementary students, particularly the tendency to teach complex ecosystem concepts through rote memorization rather than systemic understanding. The research aims to theoretically analyze how the syntax of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) strengthens science literacy in fifth-grade students. Employing a systematic literature review and qualitative content analysis, this study synthesizes peer-reviewed journals, pedagogical references, and official curriculum documents published between 2019 and 2024. The findings reveal a systematic alignment between PjBL phases and OECD-PISA science literacy indicators: formulating essential questions enhances the ability to explain scientific phenomena, project planning develops competency in designing scientific inquiry, and process monitoring cultivates critical data interpretation. Concrete, context-driven projects function as cognitive bridges that enable students in the concrete-operational stage to construct systemic ecosystem understanding through authentic investigation. The synthesis confirms that PjBL theoretically transforms passive content retention into active scientific reasoning, provided structured scaffolding and authentic environmental problems are maintained. This conceptual blueprint offers a foundation for educators and researchers to design inquiry-oriented ecosystem learning that moves beyond craft-making. Future empirical validation through field studies is recommended.

Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) plays an important role in helping organizations achieve short-term and long-term goals by aligning those goals with overall business strategy. The purpose of writing this paper is to determine the relationship between Human Resource Management (HRM) and business strategy and to provide an overview of effective employee training and development to increase company productivity. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through literature study. Based on the studies conducted, it is known that the assumption of a close relationship between business strategy and HRM methods is based on contingency theory. This theory emphasizes that human resource management methods are selected according to the type of competitive strategy adopted by the business. A well-crafted business strategy should align with the company's core mission and vision, and serve as a roadmap for achieving profitability, competitiveness and sustainable growth. In addition, proper training and development can significantly influence employee productivity, which in turn will improve the well-being and prosperity of the company. This shows the importance of planning and implementing training and workforce development, both at the company and public levels, to achieve the organization's long-term goals. Keywords: , , , ,
