Abstract

TPA cadres' understanding toward the role of Quran literacy, Living Values Education Program (LVEP), business & economy and literacy digitization in stunting handling is still inadequate. Strengthening their literacy in handling stunting is needed to prevent stunting problems in the TPA environment. This community service activities aim to increase the understanding of TPA cadres pertainin the Quran literacy, LVEP, business, economics, and digitalization as one of the programs to strengthen community literacy in stunting control. The main activity of the workshop is in the form of training using the lecture method, question and answer, and discussion. The community service activities are carried out through three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The participation and enthusiasm of the TPA cadres in the activity was very good, the partner group contributed actively in the workshops on strengthening community character and literacy in handling stunting through village digitization in the Guwosari sub-district.

Abstract

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai karakter dalam film kartun Doraemon dan untuk mengetahui relevansi nilai-nilai karakter dalam film kartun Doraemon terhadap psikologi perkembangan anak usia Sekolah Dasar.Jenis penelitian ini adalah termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi meliputi data primer yakni isi film kartun Doraemon dan data sekunder yakni hasil tulisan yang membahas tentang film kartun Doraemon baik berupa buku maupun jurnal dan artikel. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi, yaitu analisis isi pesan dan metode pengolahan pesan, atau alat untuk mengamati dan menganalisis isi perilaku komunikasi terbuka komunikator yang dipilih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam film Doraemon mengandung penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang digambarkan oleh hampir semua tokoh yang berada di film kartun doraemon. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada film kartun doraemon yaitu antara lain : 1) Nilai peduli sosial, nilai rasa ingin tahu, nilai peduli lingkungan, nilai kreatif, nilai tanggungjawab, dan nilai menghargai prestasi. 2) Nilai-nilai karakter dalam film kartun Doraemon relevan diterapkan dalam pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar  karena pengimplikasiannya dalam pendidikan sering dilakukan oleh guru dalam Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar seperti halnya : meningkatkan kreatifitas di kelas, selalu ingin mempelajari tentang hal baru yang ditemui, mempertanggung jawabkan segala perbuatan dan keputusan yang telah diambil, tidak mudah bergantung dengan orang lain, mengajarkan kebersamaan dan kepedulian dalam diskusi/kerja kelompok, mengajarkan untuk saling menjaga lingkungan sekitar, menghormati dan menghargai orang lain.Kata kunci : Nilai-Nilai karakter, Film Doraemon, Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The function of educational institutions has occasionally been crucial, particularly in the development of the younger generation to be more qualified. Through the educational institutions of the practitioners, the younger generation is formed, among other things. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of the leader of Ma’had Al-Buuss Al-Islamiah in Islamic Generation Building in Raman Yala, and what is the leadership's biggest challenge? This research is a qualitative study that is used to analyse phenomena, beliefs, and the way that both individuals and groups of people think. Primary data types, which can be examined and acquired on-site, are used in research. Ways for gathering data, including documentation, interviews, and observation. Data analysis through data reduction, data display, and inference. Data approval using source triangulation techniques. This investigation found that the role of Master Haji Muhammad Ramli Kora was very influential in the education institutions and the public in particular in the district of Raman Province of Yala.

Abstract

Busari Afeez Babatunde: The Influence of Islamic Education on Traditional Values in Yoruba Society. Master’s Program in Islamic Education (S-2 Pendidikan Agama Islam), Faculty of Tarbiya and Teacher Training, Alma Ata University, Yogyakarta. Yoruba society has experienced long-standing interaction between indigenous cultural traditions and Islamic education, which has shaped moral conduct, social norms, and communal life. However, despite the deep historical presence of Islam in Yorubaland, there remains a research gap in understanding how Islamic education specifically influences, preserves, reshapes, or negotiates traditional Yoruba values in contemporary society. This study aims to examine the major traditional values upheld in Yoruba society, describe the influence of Islamic education on the social and cultural life of the Yoruba people, and identify the factors that contribute to either harmony or tension between Islamic educational teachings and Yoruba traditional values. The research employed a qualitative research design using a descriptive and analytical approach. The population of the study consisted of Yoruba Muslim communities in Southwestern Nigeria, with 150 population comprising Islamic scholars, parents, and students selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews from 60 participants and document analysis, while data validity was ensured through triangulation. The data were analyzed thematically, guided by Berger’s Social Construction of Reality Theory, particularly the stages of externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The results reveal that Islamic education significantly reinforces core Yoruba traditional values such as festival, dressing, and moral uprightness, while reforming certain cultural practices to align with Islamic monotheism. Islamic education provides a moral framework that complements Yoruba ethical principles and supports cultural continuity amid modern challenges. The study concludes that Islamic education plays a crucial role in moral transformation and cultural preservation, fostering a balanced coexistence between faith, tradition, and modernity within Yoruba society.
