Abstract

.  Student Worksheets (LKPD) are teaching materials that serve as learning guides for students in conducting structured and independent learning activities. The Discovery Learning model emphasizes the process of student concept discovery through the stages of stimulation, problem identification, data collection, data processing, verification, and conclusion drawing. Learning interest is a crucial factor influencing student success in the learning process. In elementary school Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) instruction, learning interest serves as a motivator for students to actively engage in learning activities, such as observing, asking questions, discussing, and summarizing the material.  This research falls under the Research and Development (R&D) category. The primary objective of this development is to develop a learning guide, namely a Discovery Learning-based LKPD. The development model used by the researchers is the ADDIE model. Based on the results of the LKPD validity evaluation involving expert assessment of the content, design, and language aspects, an overall score of 83% was obtained. Based on the results of the assessment of the material, appearance, and language aspects, the Discovery Learning-based LKPD obtained an average score of 95%. From the effectiveness aspect, the Discovery Learning-based LKPD was categorized as very effective. The effectiveness assessment was carried out through questionnaire analysis and student test results, with an overall score reaching 87%.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar masih didominasi buku teks dan metode konvensional sehingga keterlibatan murid kurang optimal, khususnya pada materi perkalian pecahan. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar murid kelas V. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan media kartu domino sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang interaktif, menantang, dan mendorong partisipasi aktif murid dalam mengonstruksi pemahamannya melalui permainan edukatif yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model 4D yang meliputi tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Uji validitas dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain menggunakan angket validasi. Uji praktikalitas diperoleh melalui angket yang diisi guru, sedangkan uji efektivitas diukur melalui hasil tes belajar murid setelah menggunakan media kartu domino pada pembelajaran perkalian pecahan. Media kartu domino dikembangkan dengan pendekatan deep learning yang menekankan pembelajaran bermakna, keterlibatan aktif, kolaborasi, dan penguatan pemahaman konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat validitas sebesar 91% dengan kategori sangat valid, praktikalitas 93% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan efektivitas 89% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Dengan demikian, media kartu domino dengan pendekatan deep learning layak digunakan dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika murid kelas V sekolah dasar. Abstract

Suboptimal learning processes and unengaging instructional media often become problems in schools, resulting in students’ low narrative writing skills. In this context, appropriate instructional tools are needed to achieve learning objectives, one of which is the Student Worksheet (LKPD). LKPD is an educational resource that presents materials and task instructions systematically to support students’ learning activities. Therefore, an LKPD based on the cooperative learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) assisted by animation was developed and categorized as valid, practical, and effective to improve students’ narrative writing skills.           This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product validity was assessed by expert validators, practicality was evaluated by teachers through questionnaires, and effectiveness was measured through students’ responses and test results.          The results showed that the TTW-based LKPD met the three evaluation criteria. First, the product validity score reached 87% (very valid). Second, the practicality score was 94% (very practical). Third, the effectiveness score was 86% (very effective). Thus, the LKPD is considered feasible and effective for use in learning activities in Grade III at SDN 10 Tandikat.
