Abstract

The need for water is very important for the production process, the water quality must also be considered the pH value so that the water is suitable for use in boilers or chillers. Seeing from these needs a simulation was made on matlab R2017a using a fuzzy toolbox that can find out the water quality with fuzzy mamdani method. This fuzzy logic simulation can determine the standard value of boiler water pH (10.5-11.5) and the standard pH value of chiller water (6-8) in the production machine. The methods in fuzzy logic used are mamdani and centroid methods as deffuzification with R2017a matlab simulation tool. The fuzzy inference system used is the mamdani method. This study made a simulation of mamdani method that can determine the quality of the PH water produced by using fuzzy logic. Chiller water pH can be used if iron ion values (0-2 ppm), silica ions (50-150 ppm), Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) (500-1000 ppm), total Hardness (100-200 ppm), M-alkalinity (500-750 ppm) from the standard value, the pH of the chiller water can be proven to reach a water pH value of 6-8. Boiler water pH can be used if iron ion values (0-2 ppm), silica ions (100-150 ppm), Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) (2000-3500 ppm), total Hardness (0-3 ppm), M-alkalinity (700-800 ppm) from the standard value, the pH of boiler water can be proven to reach a water pH value of 10.5-11.5.Keywords: fuzzy logic, Mamdani method, pH of boiler water

Abstract

Solar power inverter is one of the main components in the PLTS system in order to produce the power or energy needed by the load. Solar power inverter is used to convert from DC energy (Direct Current) to AC (Alternating Current) to load. In this research a simulation of a solar power inverter system on a photovoltaic system will be designed. Simulation is done using SIMULINK-MATLAB software. Solar power inverter is designed using a boost converter as a controller and a Full-Bridge Inverter. Boost Converter is designed from 12VDC - 17 VDC to 300 VDC. Full Bridge Inverter produces AC voltage of 240 VAC with modulation index 0.8 and frequency 60 Hz. Total Harmonic Distortion is 46.07%. Power of Photovoltaic Solar panels generated at 3500 Watts at 1000 Watt / m2 irradiation conditions and temperature temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius.

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine ethnomathematics activities and mathematical concepts applied in various Sigeh Pengeten dance movements. Methodology: The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research instruments consisted of the primary instrument, the researcher herself, and supporting instruments in the form of interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation tools. Method and source triangulation were used to validate the data. Main Findings: The results of this study indicate that in each sigeh penguten dance movement, counting activities are implemented by adjusting the fast or slow music beat in the form of a repetition of 1 x 8 counts. Some sigeh penguten dance movements implement measuring activities when the movement moves to adjust to the next floor pattern change. The concept of one-dimensional geometry is depicted from the movement that forms a straight line floor pattern. The concept of two-dimensional geometry is depicted from the shape of the floor pattern in the form of triangles, rectangles, squares, trapezoids, and circles. Reflection and rotation geometric transformations. The conclusion of this study is that in the sigeh penguten dance movements there are mathematical activities and mathematical concepts. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research can be used as input for educators to make ethnomathematics an alternative in the mathematics learning process, so that it can help improve learning outcomes and students' interest in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Abstract

This community service activity aims to equip 15 participants at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Jepara with technical competencies in assembling a backup energy system. The novelty of this article lies in the application of Lithium-Ion battery technology integrated with a smart Battery Management System (BMS) as a more efficient and safer power storage solution compared to conventional lead-acid batteries, as well as the implementation of a hands-on training method. This five-hour program successfully guided participants through the process of assembling Lithium-Ion battery cells and integrating them with a BMS to achieve optimal functionality. The results demonstrate that the assembled battery unit, when connected to an inverter, is capable of providing a stable power supply to various electronic loads, including mobile phone chargers, laptops, and active speakers. The final conclusion of this activity is that the participants have successfully mastered modern energy storage technology while producing a functional backup energy system ready to support emergency electrical needs within the school environment.
