Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design and implementation Maximum Solar Power Tracking system using photovoltaic panel, in order to increase solar panel efficiency and power. Data collection is done for the condition in Semarang city. The result of the research is expected to be base in planning of solar power system in Semarang city, whether it is for lighting lamp planning and for Solar Home System (SHS). This MPPT system design uses standard 180 degree servo motor to drive photovoltaic panel and control circuit using ATmega IC, while simulation using MATLAB program. Tracking is done by online tracking method by moving the photovoltaic panel to the radiation of the sun. Tracking simulation is done with step 20, 50 and 180 step. The average of voltage generated by system without tracking is 3.97 Volt while the average voltage generated by tracking system is 4.72 Volt. Efficiency between system without tracking and tracking system is 66.28% for tracking system and 78.78% for tracking system

Abstract

Cancer is one of the causes of the main death in South-East Asian countries. Cancer is become 6th rank cause of the death in Indonesia. Around 800,000 Indonesia peoples indicated cancer per year.This research seeks for an alternatif method and tools for indicating breast cancer.The method of this research is using Fluke Thermal Ti20and thermal imager.Keyword : breast cancer, cropping, histogram.

Abstract

The need for water is very important for the production process, the water quality must also be considered the pH value so that the water is suitable for use in boilers or chillers. Seeing from these needs a simulation was made on matlab R2017a using a fuzzy toolbox that can find out the water quality with fuzzy mamdani method. This fuzzy logic simulation can determine the standard value of boiler water pH (10.5-11.5) and the standard pH value of chiller water (6-8) in the production machine. The methods in fuzzy logic used are mamdani and centroid methods as deffuzification with R2017a matlab simulation tool. The fuzzy inference system used is the mamdani method. This study made a simulation of mamdani method that can determine the quality of the PH water produced by using fuzzy logic. Chiller water pH can be used if iron ion values (0-2 ppm), silica ions (50-150 ppm), Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) (500-1000 ppm), total Hardness (100-200 ppm), M-alkalinity (500-750 ppm) from the standard value, the pH of the chiller water can be proven to reach a water pH value of 6-8. Boiler water pH can be used if iron ion values (0-2 ppm), silica ions (100-150 ppm), Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) (2000-3500 ppm), total Hardness (0-3 ppm), M-alkalinity (700-800 ppm) from the standard value, the pH of boiler water can be proven to reach a water pH value of 10.5-11.5.Keywords: fuzzy logic, Mamdani method, pH of boiler water

Abstract

Abstract

Hybrid energy system is to combine two energy sources that will provide power to the load. Sources of solar energy and wind energy will be used to generate power. In this research will be designed a model of hybrid system of solar energy and wind energy. The system is made equipped with energy storage systems in the form of batteries. Simulation or modeling using a circuit with components appropriate to the field application. Analysis of this system is the performance of hybrid generator characteristics based on load changes in the form of voltage, current and power values. The power generated by the PLTS is 3,000 Watts and the wind generator is 1,000 Watt with a resistive load of 4,000 Watt. Abstract

 In this research will be designing a prototype of a water pump system using solar photovoltaic (SPV) that is designing a SPV in accordance with the needs of PV with the capacity of water pump. The power generated by the photovoltaic system will be used to drive the water pump. One of the areas in Central Java region that have not received water source is Dusun satreyan, Rambat Village Geyer Subdistrict Grobogan District. The solar photovoltaic (SPV) water pump system is de-signed using SPV panels, Solar Charge Controller, Battery and Inverter for the needs of 1 family head with water capacity per day is 300 Liter. The water pump capacity is 125 Watt, the number of SPV panels of 2 each with a capacity of 100 Wp, battery capacity, solar charge controller and inverter is 60 Ah, 10.42 Ampere and 12 volts DC 220 VAC. The average effi-ciency rating of the SPV water pump system as a whole is 61.18%Keywords: MPPT,Solar Photovoltaic, Tracking.

Abstract

 MCE Building Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang is a public facility that requires an electrical installation system that is in accordance with PUIL 2000. The purpose of evaluating electrical installations at the Multi Center of Excellent (MCE) building in Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital is to find out electrical installations in accordance with PUIL 2000 Evaluation of electrical installations includes calculation of MCB security and calculation of cable size. Calculation using manual calculation method and calculation using Ecodial Calculation 4.7 software. The calculation results are then compared to the installed units. From the results of the comparison it can be seen whether the electrical installation is in accordance with PUIL 2000. The results of the analysis can be concluded that the electrical installation system in the MCE building of Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital is in good condition and safe. In MCB installed units, they are in accordance with the PUIL 2000 standard. In the cable sizes installed several are in a condition not in accordance with the PUIL 2000 standard so cable replacement is required. For example, on the 1st floor divider panel SDP cable where the installed cable is 4x35 mm2, it is replaced by 4x95 mm2.Keywords: Evaluation of Electrical Installation, PUIL 2000, Ecodial Advance Calculation 4

Abstract

Gedung Fakultas Teknik Universitas Semarang berpotensi untuk dilakukan pemasangan rooftop solar photovoltaic (SPV) sehingga menghasilkan energi listrik dari sumber energi matahari. Energi yang dihasilkan oleh system SPV dapat digunakan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan listrik pada siang hari, sehingga pemenuhan energi listrik dapat dibagi dari PLN dan Rooftop SPV. Pemanfaatan rooftop SPV mempunyai beberapa keunggulan yaitu pemanfaatan energi matahari lebih maksimal dan meminimalisir penghalang karena, serta lebih mudah untuk diintegrasikan dengan sistem kelistrikan yang sudah ada. Perancangan system Rooftop SPV perlu dilakukan untuk mengoptimalisasi pemanfaatan energi matahari sebagai salah satu pengembangan green energy system agar dapat memprediksi berapa daya atau energy yang mampu dihasilkan. Daya dan energy yang dihasilkan oleh grid connected rooftop SPV dihitung berdasarkan data meteorologi radiasi matahari dan temperature Tahun 2019 dari BMKG Kota Semarang serta dimensi luas atap Gedung. Penelitian ini divalidasi dengan menggunakan software PVSYS 6.8.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan daya dan energi sebesar 103.87 kW dan 1371.74 KWh dengan dimensi atap gedung sebesar 441 m2. Atap gedung mampu menampung jumlah modul SPV sebanyak 356 Unit dengan total daya dan energi sebesar 85.119 Kw dan 658.6 KWh. Pemanfaatan grid connected rooftop SPV ini mampu mensupply kebutuhan energi sebesar 81.9% dari total kebutuhan energi listrik pada gedung Fakultas Teknik

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah  mengenalkan dasar-dasar teknologi robotika agar siswa SMKN 1 Tengaran paham dan tertarik mempelajari lebih detail tentang robotika. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah, demontrasi robot dan evaluasi. Jumlah peserta pada pelatihan ini berjumlah 25 siswa dan siswi. Instrumen evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan metode pre dan post test. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa para siswa siswi berminat mempelajari robotika dan sangat antusias saat robot didemontrasikan. Dengan pelatihan ini diharapkan pengetahuan tentang robotika bertambah dan berminat untuk lebih mendalami keilmuan di bidang robotika.

Abstract

Guru dituntut mampu merancang dan mendesain pembelajaran daring yang ringan dan efektif, dengan memanfaatkan perangkat atau media daring yang tepat dan sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan. Walaupun dengan pembelajaran daring akan memberikan kesempatan lebih luas dalam mengeksplorasi materi yang akan diajarkan, namun guru harus mampu memilih dan membatasi sejauh mana cakupan materinya dan aplikasi yang cocok pada materi dan metode belajar yang digunakan Saat ini para guru di SMPN 23 Semarang hanya menggunakan media Whatapps untuk berkomunikasi dengan para siswa dan orang tua siswa, pembelajaran dilakukan dengan memberikan lewat materi yang telah dirangkum oleh guru kepada siswa, selanjutnya memberikan tugas yang harus dikerjakan oleh siswa. Para guru ini mengharapkan adanya pelatihan bagaimana menggunakan aplikasi e-learning seperti edmodo, google classroom atau Microsoft tems, serta bagaimana memberikan penjelasan kepada siswa melalui video conference seperti zoom atau google meeting.Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para guru SMPN 23 Semarang sebenarnya sama dengan yang dihadapi oleh pada Guru di seluruh Indonesia, yaitu bagaimana menggunakan dan memilih peralatan model pembelajaran e-learning yang tepat untuk para siswa, bagaimana membuat media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan informative kepada para siswa. Tujuan dari penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat akan memudahkan siswa menerima pelajaran yang diberikan. Kesulitan para guru adalah karena belum dilatih mengunakan peralatan untuk model pembelajaran jarak jauh, sehingga perlu tambahan dukungan dan mentoring untuk menyesuaikan dengan model pembelajaran baru ini.Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada Guru SMPN 23 Semarang tentang (1) bagaimana menggunakan peralatan model pembelajaran e-learning seperti penggunaan edmodo, (2)memberikan pelatihan bagaimana membuat power point yang bisa merekam suara guru saat memberikan penjelasan sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif dan informatif. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan waktu selama 2 jam. Luaran lain yang dihasilkan adalah jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, HAKI Hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, publikasi video pelaksanaan Pengabdian melalui Youtube.
