Abstract

The teacher is an element that plays an important role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. It is inevitable that there are various problems in learning that need to be solved by a teacher, one of them with research. Classroom Action Research is an attempt to correct any shortcomings and deficiencies in learning. Followed by writing a Classroom Action Research Report, carried out as an attempt to think and prove to improve the professionalism of teachers and is no less important as an added value in increasing credit. The aim of this study is to describe: teacher skills in writing Classroom Action Research reports and obstacles for teachers in writing scientific articles. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the skills to write research reports in the classroom were still low and very rarely performed. The obstacles that the teacher encountered were the lack of understanding of scientific articles, little systematic writing knowledge, limited liability, problems with the use of computers and time. But of all that, the cause of the obstacles that the teacher encounters is motivation.

Abstract

School cleaning activities are generally something that no one wants. Most Indonesian people still assume that environmental hygiene is the work of janitors and helpers, not the collective responsibility of individuals. Not surprisingly, most schools in Indonesia have poor hygiene and health quality. This paper collects in-depth and comprehensive information from principals, teachers, and students at a private elementary school in the city of Purwakarta, West Java, regarding hygiene management in their schools. Unlike other schools, although it has two spacious and magnificent four-story buildings, this school does not have a single janitor. School cleanliness is truly a shared responsibility. In each day, dozens of teachers and hundreds of students clean up all parts of the school collectively in 15-20 minutes full of enthusiasm and awareness that cleanliness is a responsibility and part of their faith to Allah.

Abstract

Choosing a school is one of the efforts parents make to provide education for their children's lives. The choice of school is certainly based on motivations that become factors to consider in the decision-making process. The location and environment of the school; the school's vision and mission; the curriculum; the profile of the teachers; facilities; the school's achievements; costs, understanding of children, and parents' expectations are factors of both internal and external motivation that determine the choice of school. This research uses a survey method to examine the dominant factors that influence 156 parents, who are respondents in this study, in choosing schools located in the Purwakarta district.

Abstract

Pengembangan karakter menjadi salah satu fokus utama dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia untuk membentuk peserta didik yang tidak hanya cerdas akademik, tetapi juga berkarakter baik. Pengembangan karakter melalui seni budaya seperti Tari Jaipong diharapkan dapat menciptakan individu yang disiplin, menghargai budaya, dan memiliki ketahanan diri yang kuat. Tari Jaipong merupakan salah satu tarian tradisional Jawa Barat yang terkenal dengan gerakannya yang energik dan dinamis. Sanggar Sekar Raspati di Kecamatan Maniis, Kabupaten Purwakarta memainkan peran penting dalam pelestarian dan pengembangan Tari Jaipong melalui pelatihan rutin, inovasi koreografi, serta partisipasi dalam berbagai acara budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Tari Jaipong sebagai bagian dari identitas budaya lokal, serta mengetahui proses pengembangan karakter dan kedisiplinan peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sanggar Sekar Raspati berhasil mengkombinasikan Tari Jaipong dengan elemen tari modern, tanpa menghilangkan identitas tradisionalnya dan peserta didik begitu antusias dan memberikan kesan dan pesan yang menyenangkan, dan menunjukkan bahwa Tari Jaipong berperan penting dalam membangun karakter disiplin, kerja sama, tanggung jawab, serta rasa percaya diri pada peserta didik.
