Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of exchange rates on stock prices, by taking a sample of the tourism sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2019 period. The sampling technique used in this study using judgment sampling as many as 22 companies engaged in the sector. The data collection method uses secondary data processing obtained from the official website of the institution that is relevant to this research. This study uses a quantitative approach using linear regression analysis, to know the direction and how much influence the independent variable has on the dependent variable. From the results of data processing, it is known that the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect on stock prices

Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to compare Capital Asset Pricing Model with Arbitration Pricing Theory by considering the supply chain strategy. Another objective of this study is to determine the effect of Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Arbitration Pricing Theory (APT) on excess returns and to determine the best asset pricing model in terms of ability to explain the estimation of excess return. This study examines the effect of variables in asset pricing models and compares the ability of asset pricing models in explaining excess return. The population in this study are Kompas 100 stock for periods 2013 to 2017, and the sampling method of this study is purposive sampling. Then, it is obtained as many as 46 companies selected as research samples. To compare the accuracy between the CAPM model and APT is calculated with R2 or R Square and the Prob. values (F-statistic). Based on the results, the best model that can be used in assessing asset pricing model is Arbitration Pricing Theory, this is evidenced by the value of R2 or R Square of 33.41 % and Prob. (F-statistic) value 0.000000, this value is better than the value of R2 Capital Asset Pricing Model of 2.68% and Prob. (F-statistics) value 0.007354.

Abstract

The hotel business is one of the tourism sectors which in its management focuses on services. Financial factors are one of the factors that can support the success of the hotel business. This study aims to determine the effect of financial capital and financial inclusion on the performance of the hotel business in the city of Bandung. The research was conducted on the non-star hotel industry in the city of Bandung. The participants in this study were non-star hotel managers in the city of Bandung. The number of questionnaires distributed amounted to 234 and returned as many as 192. So the sample in this study amounted to 192 respondents. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between financial capital and financial inclusion on the performance of the hotel business in Bandung.

Abstract

Borobudur as one of the top wonderful destinations in the world is challenged to become one of halal tourism destinations in Indonesia. The purposes of this research are to find out and to launch the implementation of halaltourism ecosystem model in Borobudur Temple as tourism area in Indonesia. This research used a descriptive method. The researcher investigated the implementation of halal tourism ecosystem model in the Borobudur temple as tourism area by examining the variables of halal tourism ecosystems. It consisted of four dimensions. They are destination products, government support, human resources, and infrastructure. The main data is collected by using interviews and addressing of Borobudur Temple Tourism Park management, Tourism Business People that concerned with halal certification, LPPT (Integrated Research and Testing Laboratory) University of Gajah Mada, Indonesian Ulama chapter Jogjakarta, Culture and Tourism Region of Jogjakarta. The tools of data collection are the checklist and literature study to grab the secondary data. The result shows that Halal Tourism destination product, including the availability of halal attraction, facility, accessibility, program, and the package are not available completely. However, the support aspect from the government is not optimal in supporting Borobudur as halal tourism destination. Based on human resources aspect, there is founded that in some aspects such as the availability of human resources that understand of tourism is very poor or almost none. Besides, based on infrastructure aspect, there is founded that research and development aspects have not been carried out optimally.

Abstract

Megalithic site of Mount Padang is andent relics that have high value for Indonesia. The site is located 50 kilometers southwest Cianjur, West Java. The research objective was to determine the existence of the site, and planned as a tourism destination that may impact either directly or indirectly to the public. The method used is descriptive not only describe, but also perform the analysis and interpretation of data. The approach used in this study is qualitative. Cultural values that can be contained as various studies and are preferred for the sake of tourism. Conservation of cultural heritage sites as high an initiative of the stakeholders in maintaining, saving and utilizing high cultural value such as social capital and economic assets. The authors suggest that the megalithic site of Mount Padang is a megalithic sites that must be maintained existence. Therefore, the local government in collaboration with local communities are able to maintain and preserve the cultural heritage of the ancestors in order to still be able to enjoy the tourists in the future. In maintaining and rescue cultural heritage sites there should be continuous assessment of the methods and techniques of conservation of various artifacts that the values contained in it maintained its integrity. Methods and techniques that do besides using modern ways as well by utilizing indigenous knowledge usual local communities. In addition to improving the condition of conservation of the site will also be necessary rescue techniques assorted artifacts of the site, in the structuring, storage, and maintenance in order that the objects were well maintained

Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata telah menciptakan berbagai konsep baru salah satunya adalah konsep pariwisata halal. Konsep pariwisata halal sangat digemari di Indonesia dan lokasi yang menerapkannya salah satunya adalah Lombok. Lombok dengan berbagai keindahan alam yang ditawarkan, dikombinasikan dengan konsep ramah muslim melebur menjadi satu kesatuan yang indah. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif, peneliti melakukan observasi dan data yang diperoleh diolah secara intensif melalui proses triangulasi data. Bukti dokumentasi dijadikan dasar yang kuat mengenai kondisi di lapangan. Kunjungan kepada beberapa destinasi ditelusuri secara mendalam dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Pemaparan data secara detail ditemukan analisa SWOT yang dalam mengenai seluruh destinasi yang dikunjungi. Peran pemangku kepentingan merupakan hal yang tidak dapat terlepas dari kesatuan stakeholders didalamnya. Hasil tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan perbaikan serta pembuka informasi persiapan untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan pada masa mendatang.
