Abstract

Turbin gas area utilitas pabrik -2 PT. Pupuk Kaltim merupakan unit pembangkit listrik yang juga terintegrasi dengan PT Kaltim Daya Mandiri. Dalam sistem kerjanya pembangkit ini tidak sepenuhnya dioperasikan dengan pembebanan yang maksimal setiap saat. Sehingga perlu mengetahui pada beban berapakah performa dari GTG dapat maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh beban operasi terhadap efisiensi dan performa turbin gas 2010U MS6001 dengan variasi yaitu 14.7 MW dan 19.6 MW. Perbandingan specific fuel consumption dan heat rate juga menjadi kajian penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efisiensi kompresor degan nilai tertingi adalah 81.58 % pada beban 19.6 MW. Efisiensi thermal terbesar juga pada beban 19,6 MW yaitu mencapai 29.12%. SFC dan heat rate mengalami penurunan dengan bertambahnya beban yaitu terjadi penuruna hingga 0.237 kg/kWh pada SFC dan 0.015 MMBTU/kWh pada heat rate. Juga nilai kerja kompresor, turbin, dan netto mengalami performa terbaik pada beban 19,6 MW.

Abstract

Kursi roda digunakan sebagai alat bantu disabilitas. Disabilitas memiliki kemampuan terbatas untuk menggerakkan sendiri kursi rodanya sehingga diperlukan sistem yang memudahkan pergerakan kursi roda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem pemrograman dari software Arduino IDE dan mengetahui fungsi dari Arduino Uno terhadap kursi roda eletrik . Pemprograman arduino kemudian akan terkoneksi terhadap alat sistem elektrik yang menjadikan Kursi Roda dapat dikendalikan secara praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan merancang system kursi elektrik menggunakan system berbasis arduino IDE (Integreted Development Environment). Proses perancangan sistem pemrograman dari software Arduino IDE dengan dirangaikan kepada komponen elektrik pada kursi roda diperoleh berupa program inisialisasi. Pemrograman dari arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) menjadi dasar kendali yang dikontrol oleh joystick. Joystick kemudian menjadikan kursi roda daapat bergerak ke segala arah sehingga akan mempermudah pengguna menggerakkan kursi roda.

Abstract

Electricity is now a primary need that is very important for everyday life, both for household use and in industry. Electricity supply should be spread evenly throughout Indonesia, therefore it is important to distribute electricity to Indonesia, especially the Nunukan area, North Kalimantan which until now is experiencing good development with the addition of diesel engine units that can help distribute electricity to the people of Nunukan. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the Mitsubishi engine with the S16R-PTA (-S) model. The method used was by conducting a literature study and taking data on the diesel engine and performing calculations so that the research that was carried out at the PLTD Sei Bilal obtained data to calculate the thermal efficiency and net work of a diesel engine. From the data obtained, calculations were made and concluded that at 600 kW power the highest thermal efficiency was 59.3% and at 800 kW and 1000 kW the highest net effort was 614.36 kJ/kg.

Abstract

The waste bank management program aims to help the residents' economy and maintain environmental cleanliness by processing waste in the environment. The improvement of the residents' economy is done by selling inorganic/plastic waste that has economic value and converting organic waste into compost. Because of this background, the waste bank program was chosen as a community service activity for 2022 ITK by considering the appropriate location and partners. RT 56 Kelurahan Baru Ilir, West Balikpapan District is a densely populated area with the majority of its residents making seasonal livelihoods such as washermen and construction workers, so with the aim of helping the residents' economy, we decided to make RT 56 a partner for the waste bank program. The waste bank program is implemented in stages, namely coordination with the local government, socialization, waste collection, waste weighing, recording, selling waste and payments to customers. The processing of organic waste consists of refining organic waste, mixing in composting, ripening, harvesting compost. The Waste Bank program was implemented for 3 months, namely in March-May 2022 and obtained 23 customers with total customer funds reaching Rp564,324.00. The organic waste treatment program is carried out by making a composting prototype made from drums that is able to reduce the unpleasant odor produced during the composting process, so that in 1 month, ready-to-use organic fertilizer can be produced.

Abstract

Motor listrik adalah kendaraan yang digerakkan oleh motor BLDC. Menggunakan energi listrik yang tersimpan dalam bentuk baterai atau accu. Untuk mengetahui tegangan listrik arus listrik yang melalui motor penggerak pada motor listrik perlu dilakukan pengukuran dengan alat ukur manual berupa multimeter. Memasang alat yang rumit dan membaca nilai di luar jangkauan kemudi adalah masalah yang perlu ditangani. Sehingga diperlukan suatu alat yang dapat mengukur secara real time dengan layar yang terintegrasi. Dalam penelitian ini, mobil Enggang Evo 3 digunakan sebagai objek. Oleh karena itu untuk memonitor penggunaan arus listrik dan tegangan listrik perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk membuat sistem monitoring tegangan listrik, arus listrik, daya pada motor listrik Enggang Evo dan tegangan listrik, arus listrik, energi untuk mengetahui secara real time saat mobil berjalan. Variabel throttle 100%, 75%, 50% naik. Untuk mengukur tegangan listrik dan arus listrik menggunakan sensor tegangan listrik berupa resistor pembagi dan ACS785 sebagai sensor arus listrik yang terpasang pada sumber energi dan beban. Hasil dari penelitian ini alat dengan pembacaan nilai dari variasi throttle dari pembacaan. Nilai RMSE sebesar 3.98 untuk throttle 100%, 1.60 untuk throttle 75% dan untuk throttle 50% sebesar 1.02. Untuk nilai RMSE arus listrik adalah 45.86 untuk throttle 100%, 18.94 untuk throttle 75% dan untuk throttle 50% sebesar 12.35.

Abstract

Dragon fruit is one type of fruit that can grow in tropical and subtropical areas such as Indonesia. Especially East Kalimantan Province, dragon fruit cultivation one of the people's livelihoods. In Karang Joang Village, KM 25 Balikpapan, there are dragon fruit farmers who experience problems related to dragon fruit plants growing in their gardens. Dragon fruit plants in the garden were attacked by diseases caused by viruses due to frequent exposure to rain. Handling the virus with herbal medicines that are easily available, making it easier for the operational costs of dragon fruit planting to be affordable. Spraying of herbal medicine is carried out on dragon fruit about 3 times a week with a garden area of 3-4 hectares. In addition, innovation is also given in making prototypes of automatic roofs in order to protect plants from extreme weather that can affect soil and plant conditions. Through the manufacture of this automatic roof prototype, it is hoped that it can help protect dragon fruit trees when they are in a season with high rainfall.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of water discharge and the angle of inclination of the turbine on electrical power and efficiency using Archimedes screw turbine with two blades. This study aims to determine the effect of water discharge and the angle of inclination of the turbine on the electrical power and efficiency of the two-blade Archimedes screw turbine. The turbine is fed with water at variations of water discharge of 150 l/m, 300 l/m, 450 l/m. And vary angle of inclination of the turbine of 35°, 40°, and 45°. By using the variation of the water discharge that has been mentioned, the electrical power and efficiency obtained are 1,24 W and 9,78 % at a variation of 150 l/m, 2,89 W and 10,77 % at a variation of 300 l/m, and 3,65 W and 9,06 % at a variation of 450 l/m. When varying the angle of inclination, the electrical power and efficiency obtained are 3,33 W and 10,77 % on a slope of 35°, 3,65 W and 10,53 % on a slope of 40°, and 3,15 W and 8,6 % on a variation of 45°.

Abstract

Pico hydropower plant is a generator engaged in the field of renewable energy, in general, the power system uses a 3-phase synchronous generator with AC voltage, in its development it can be used as a converter, by converting AC voltage to DC voltage. One of the uses of DC voltage is as so that it can be used as a battery charger or battery discharger. An AC-DC converter, also known as a rectifier, is a device for converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). In general, many technologies in the industrial world utilize converters. In this paper, a simulation design of an AC-DC converter system will be made with a 230 Volt AC input with a DC voltage output. The manufacture of the converter is carried out with different gate values on the thyristors which are simulated using Simulink in MATLAB. The results of this study are in the form of analysis and mathematical calculations of the output of the AC-DC converter where from the simulation results that AC voltage can be converted to DC voltage with the working principle of the thyristor, thus the converter output results can be used in battery chargers and battery dischargers

Abstract

One of the supporting mining activities at PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama is the maintenance of the truck vehicle unit, where the truck functions as a mode of transportation to transport various kinds of materials and other materials including fuel. The unit operates continuously causing a decrease in the level of reliability and causes frequent breakdowns and high downtime in mining units, including the Volvo FMX 440 truck unit. To minimize breakdown and downtime, a good maintenance system is needed to prevent engine damage. Scheduled maintenance systems or predictive maintenance using the Wicope Platform can minimize breakdown conditions. In order to obtain a maintenance mechanism that can increase the service life of a unit and component, it can also have an effect on saving the company's expenses in carrying out the maintenance process.
