Abstract

Adolescence is an important stage in human development. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Adolescence Character Building (ACB) program in order to build of adolescents characters in Sumbawa Regency. The population is high school students in the capital of Sumbawa Regency by using samples of students of SMAN 2 Sumbawa Besar. The program was conducted for three days on July 16th, 18th and 19th.  The independent variable is ACB program, while the dependent variable is character understanding in adolescent. The participants are given a pre-test sheet. Program was delivered by instruction (lecture), discussion, simulation, and game. During learning the particiants get eight ACB modules, namely (1) Introduction of Self; (2) Learning Styles; (3) Goal, Mission, and Time Management; (4) Reactive and Proactive; (5) Conflict Management; (6) Assertive and Critical Thinking; (7) Empathy and Respect for Others; and (8) Leadership. After the program is completed the participants are given post-test sheet. The effectiveness of the program was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks test to examine differences student’s understanding about the value of character between before and after program intervention. The results of this study indicate that there is influence of ACB program implementation on the participants. The post-test score is higher than the pre-test score. The effectiveness of the program during the study may be due to internal and external factors. Internal factors such as an understanding of some participants to the values ​​of character. External factors include an appropriate and fun methods, relevant material and professional instructor.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: melihat sejauh mana peran agama dan peran lingkungan dalam pendidikan karakter di sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Sumbawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model evaluasi dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi kedua variabel yaitu agama dan lingkungan. Data penelitian diperoleh dari instrumen agama dan lingkungan yang validitasnya dibuktikan menggunakan validitas tampang dan validitas faktor dengan EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan data pendidikan karakter berbasis lingkungan adalah 3,64 yang berarti pendidikan karakter berbasis lingkungan berada dalam kategori baik. Hasil analisis data instrumen pendidikan karakter berbasis agama adalah 3,24 yang berarti pendidikan karakter berbasis lingkungan berada dalam kategori baik. hasil uji korelasi antara kedua variabel bernilai positif dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,221 dengan sig. (p hitung) = 0,0001 atau p<0,05 yang berarti hubungan yang terjadi antara kedua variabel bersifat signifikan.

Abstract

Sexual satisfaction is a feeling of satisfaction obtained from sexual activitybetween husband and wife. In some cases it was found that wives tended not toget sexual satisfaction. This can have a negative impact onwife or both parties because sexual satisfaction is an indicatorthe joy of marriage and a source of individual psychic energy. Hence, this studyaims to determine the effect of sexual satisfaction on health levelshousewife mentality.This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of causal researchcomparative. Data were collected using a scale, namely the scale of sexual satisfaction(NSSS) and mental health scale (WEMWBS). The number of research subjectsare 89 out of 818 housewives with a marriage age range of 2 to 20 yearswhich is determined based on the sampling technique in the form of purposive samplingand the slovin formula to determine the number of samples.The results of this study are the results of the regression analysis test obtained a significance valueof 0.000 <0.005 and the coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.224 and the coefficientregression x of 0.267. This shows that there is sexual influencesatisfaction of 22.4% with the level of mental health of housewives and 70.6% is influenced by other factors such as environment, economic conditions and maturitythink.

Abstract

Fenomena COVID-19 memberikan dampak pada semua sektor kehidupan, diantaranya adalah sektor pendidikan. Kegiatan belajar-mengajar dilakukan dari rumah. Perubahan situasi yang mendadak ini menjadi sumber stres kerja yang dirasakan oleh dosen. Hal ini menjadi perhatian karena dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan hidup dosen. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stres kerja dengan kepuasan hidup dosen Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa di masa pandemi COVID-19. Sebanyak 58 dosen diambil sebagai sampel yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Dua pengukuran psikologi digunakan untuk memperoleh data dari 58 dosen, yaitu skala stres kerja dan skala kepuasan hidup yang diadaptasi dari The Satisfaction with Life Scale oleh Diener, et al. (1985). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.406 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.002 (<0.005), yang berarti terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara stres kerja dengan kepuasan hidup dosen Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa di masa pandemi COVID-19. Artinya, stres kerja dosen yang tinggi akan diikuti dengan kepuasan hidup yang rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan deskripsi kesejahteraan psikologis mantan pekerja perempuan yang menerima tindakan yang tidak menyenangkan selama proses migrasi atau saat kembali ke rumah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah tiga wanita yang berdomisili di Desa Sebasang Kabupaten Sumbawa yang memiliki latar belakang profesional sebagai mantan pekerja wanita. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa dua subjek (AA dan N) memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis yang baik karena mereka telah mampu memenuhi semua aspek penerimaan diri, hubungan positif dengan orang lain, otonomi, penguasaan lingkungan, tujuan hidup dan pertumbuhan pribadi. Sementara itu, NZ menunjukkan hasil sebaliknya. Kesulitan untuk memenuhi kesejahteraan psikologisnya disebabkan oleh rendahnya penerimaan terhadap pengalaman dan masa lalunya yang bekerja sebagai mantan pekerja migran yang pada akhirnya memberi dampak pada persepsi dia tentang mendefinisikan kehidupan yang bermakna.

Abstract

This study aim to determine the relationship between learning difficulties and learning achievement of fourth grade students of SDN 11 Sumbawa. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The research subject was taken using a population study approach with a total of 70 4th grade students of Sumbawa 11 Elementary School. The research data was obtained by using report and scale report value scoring instruments to scale using the scale of learning difficulties. Learning difficulty scale consist of 28 items with a validity coefficient between 0.310 to 0.794 and a reliability coefficient of 0.739. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between Learning Difficulties and Learning Achievement correlation coefficient value (rxy) of 0.419 with p count = 0.0001 / p<0.05. Based on the average calculation in general, based on the results of the study the relationship between learning difficulties and learning achievement was in the medium category. Based on the results of calculations for data obtained from the scale of Learning Difficulties, from 70 subjects there were 8 subjects (11.4%) in the very high category, 6 subjects (8.6%) in the high category, 34 subjects (48.6 %) were in the medium category, 21 subjects (30%) were in the low category, and 1 subject (1.4%) were in the very low category. While the results of calculations for the data obtained from Learning Achievement of 70 subjects found 3 subjects (4.3%) were in the very high category, 14 subjects (20%) were in the high category, 36 subjects (51.4%) were in the category moderate, 15 subjects (21.4%) were in the low category, and 2 subjects (2.9%) were in the very low category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of parental attachment to the learning achievement of TK Sandhy Putra Telkom Sumbawa students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a type of correlational research to find out or test the relationship between two or more variables. The sampling method in this study used a saturated sampling technique, with a total sample of 81 people. The instrument in this study consisted of a scale of stickiness and learning achievement obtained from reports on the progress of TK Sandhy Putra Telkom Sumbawa students. The instrument validity test refers to the item correlation total score which states that the item is said to be valid if it has an item correlation total score 3 0.3. Instrument reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula with ? coefficient value 0.868 on the scale of attachment. The results of this study indicate a correlation coefficient of -0.763 with the resulting level of significance of 0.000 (LOS <0.01) means that there is a significant relationship between the level of anxiety with the quality of life of the elderly in Unit I Unit I Sumbawa District Health Center. There is a significant relationship between parent attachment and TK Sandhy Putra Telkom Sumbawa student learning achievement. Negative results (-) show the opposite direction, meaning that the higher the level of attachment of parents, the lower the learning achievement, on the contrary the lower the level of attachment of parents, the higher the learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to know the relationship between self-regulated learning and academic achievement of students. This research used quantitative descriptive approach. The technique of taking sampling is purposive sampling. Withdrawing sampling used Slovin formula and determining sampling representatively were conducted by using cluster sampling. The sample of this research is seventy three students of psychology department in Sumbawa University of Technology. The data of the research was carried out by using instrumental research called self-regulated learning dan academic achievement sheet. The instrument of reliability test using validity constrast based on factor analysis. The result of this research showed that there are positive correlations between self-regulated learning and academic record by value of co-efficiency correlation 0,420 with p value = 0,0001/ p < 0,05 which means the higher it is self-regulated learning of students so the better it is academic achievement, and vice versa. The lower self-regulated learning of students so the lower academic achievement of students. Based on the research output, generally self regulated learning of student faculty of psychology be on average category and their academic achievement be on high level. Self regulated gives effective support on academic record by 17,7 % and 82,3 % was affected by other factors out of this research issues.

Abstract

This research aimed at knowing correlation between conflict and role af women as working mom with domestics harmony. It was conducted at rural village Moyo Mekae, Sub-distrid Moyo Hilir, Distritc Sumbawa. It has fourty sample of working moms as civil servants. Research data was taken by using scale conflict instrument and domestic harmony instrument. This research used quantitative research method correlational. Correlational research aimed at knowing strength and the correlation within variables. By this research is taken information concerning correlational feedback, not cause-effect. The result showed that there are significant correlation between conflict working mom and domestic harmony. It has coofecient correlation between two variabels as r = -0,672; p= 0,0001 (p<0,05). Generally based on average counting, it has strong value. Based on scale conflict of working mom, it has high value, time based conflict has 4,325 than the other aspects. This showed that conflict because of time as considerably aspect to build relation. Therefore, domestics harmony has highes value to create religious life. It has 4,20. It showed that the domestic harmonys could be created through religious life.
