Abstract

UPT Kearsipan Universitas Sam Ratulangi, a technical implementation unit responsible for archive management, faces challenges with traditional manual correspondence processes, leading to potential data loss, recording errors, and slow information distribution. This research aimed to develop a web-based Archiving Correspondence Information System (ARCIS) to address these issues. The system was developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, emphasizing frequent iterations, active user involvement, and continuous testing. Built with PHP and MySQL technologies, ARCIS includes features such as incoming and outgoing letter management, disposition tracking, classification, institution and user data management, and notification alerts. The XP method, with its rapid adaptation to changing user needs, was chosen to create a responsive and high-quality solution. Black box testing confirmed that all system functionalities perform effectively and meet user needs, achieving a 100% success rate in Iteration 1 and 83.33% in Iteration 2. This system provides a more effective, efficient, and organized solution for managing letters and archives.

Abstract

Guest lecture management at FMIPA UNSRAT currently suffers from significant fragmentation across WhatsApp, Google Forms, and paper attendance, leading to data duplication, information inconsistencies, and administrative inefficiency. This condition hinders effective decision-making and stakeholder engagement. This study aims to design and develop a centralized Web-Based Guest Lecture Information System to integrate the entire event lifecycle, including publication, registration, digital attendance, and reporting. The system was developed using the Waterfall model with Laravel framework and MySQL database. Comprehensive evaluation involved Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with committee members, and User Perception Testing with students. Results indicate a 100% success rate in Black Box Testing across 42 functional scenarios. UAT yielded a 90.4% acceptance rate among committee members, validating operational feasibility and workflow alignment. Furthermore, User Perception Testing achieved a 91.04% satisfaction score among students, with Behavioral Intention reaching 93.6%. These findings demonstrate that the system significantly reduces data fragmentation and improves administrative efficiency compared to manual processes. The system is deemed feasible for immediate deployment, offering a robust solution for centralized academic event management. However, limitations exist regarding financial module integration. Future work should focus on API integration with the central university portal and automated honorarium processing to further enhance scalability and institutional adoption.

Abstract

FocusAuto Repair Shop currently relies on manual WhatsApp updates for service status, resulting in delayed responses, inconsistent information, and limited transparency for customers. This condition reflects a broader challenge in information system adoption among Indonesian MSMEs. This study aims to design and implement a web-based car service monitoring system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and evaluate its usability using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The system was developed through four RAD stages: Planning, Design, Construction, and Implementation, utilizing Laravel, Bootstrap, and MySQL. Key features include real-time status tracking, customer data management, and PDF invoice generation. System functionality was validated through Black-box testing involving 18 test scenarios for admin and customer modules. Usability was evaluated using the SUS questionnaire distributed to 10 FocusAuto customers. Results indicate that all 18 test scenarios passed successfully, confirming system reliability and functional compliance. The usability evaluation yielded an average SUS score of 85.25, categorizing the system as Excellent. These findings demonstrate that the developed system effectively replaces manual communication methods, significantly improving service transparency and operational efficiency at FocusAuto. The study concludes that web-based monitoring systems enhance customer satisfaction in automotive MSMEs. Future work recommends cloud deployment and WhatsApp API integration to further maximize accessibility and automation.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an Android-based application integrated with real-time location tracking to support scrap metal pickup services. The system was developed using the Prototype method. The application was built with Flutter and Dart, using Firebase as the backend and the Google Maps API for GPS-based real-time location tracking and map visualization. The system offers features for both customers and collectors. Customers can request pickup services, enter information about the scrap they have, choose a collector, and track the collector's location. Collectors get the request, check the service details, and go to the customer's location. These features enable users to communicate and work together on a single digital platform. System testing was conducted using Black-Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique, with alpha testing involving 6 participants. From 126 test cases, 124 were successful, resulting in a Task Success Rate (TSR) of 98%. These results indicate that the system is functionally reliable in supporting the main processes of scrap metal pickup services. Furthermore, the developed application is expected to facilitate interaction between customers and collectors, provide visibility of collector locations through real-time tracking, and support the implementation of a digital-based scrap metal pickup service. Keywords: Android Application, Live Location Tracking, Scrap Metal Pickup, Prototype Method, Google Maps

Abstract

Local economic data in Jayawijaya Regency, such as Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), poverty rates, Human Development Index (HDI), and unemployment statistics, is often scattered across different spreadsheets and standard documents. This scattering considerably hinders deep, multi-aspect assessment for regional leaders. This study aims to build and deploy a dynamic analytical dashboard that aggregates economic figures for the period 2020-2024. The design of this system employs a Data Warehouse with a multidimensional Galaxy Schema to merge indicators with distinct measurement types into a single central place. The Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process was automated using Pentaho Data Integration, achieving 100% data matching accuracy with no data loss. Using Tableau Public as the visual display section, the dashboard functions through three subject-based views: Executive Summary, Economic Growth, and Social Welfare. Keywords: Analytical Dashboard, Data Warehouse, Galaxy Schema, Macroeconomic, Visualization
