Abstract

This reseach aims to compare of income from cropping patterns of intercropping of maize and peanuts with corn monoculture in sub-district Ponjong. The method of determining the research area was purposive sampling while in the method of sampling using simple random sampling with a number of 65 respondents namely 42 farmers intercropping corn - peanuts and 23 farmers of monoculture corn. Data analysis methods used are income analysis and efficiency analysis by testing the hypothesis using the t test. The results showed that the income of intercropping maize-peanut farming was Rp. 19.341.850 / ha with an average land area (0,28) ha greater than the income of corn monoculture farming is Rp 9.086.973 / ha with an average land area (0,26) ha. While the efficiency analysis shows that the income of intercropping corn - peanut farming with an R/C Ratio of 4.16 and monoculture jag farming with an R / C Ratio of 2.57. T test results between farm income of intercropping corn-peanuts and corn monoculture farming showed that the t-count was 4.4095 and t-table 1.669 with α = 0.05 while the t-test on R / C Ratio with t-value of 5.257 and t-table 1.669 with α = 0.05. Farming of intercropping systems of corn-peanut is more efficient compared to corn monoculture farming pattern.

Abstract

This research was carried out on purpose to determine the profit of Kopi Merapi as Coffee shop. Research hypothesis is Kopi Merapi profitable to developed. The basic method used in this research is a descriptive method. The data used in this research by collecting secondary and primary data in Kopi Merapi in 2018. The method of data analysis used is Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) by using t test as hypothesis test. The research shows that average production cost monthly of Kopi Merapi in 2018 is IDR141.053.031 with average income monthly in 2018 is IDR183.302.292. The average profit monthly of Kopi Merapi in 2018 is IDR42.249.261. Based on the analysis, Revenue Cost Revenue (R/C) for Kopi Merapi is 1.32. Hypothetical test result shows that the value of t test (2.124) > t table (1.717) with an error rate of 5%. It means that t test analysis is significant. If t test > t table means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Ha is accepted means that π > 0. Thus, it can be concluded that the proposed hypothetical is accepted. It means that Kopi Merapi profitable to developed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing channels of white pepper, the factors that influence the marketing margins of white pepper in the sub-district of Simpang Pesak, East Belitung Regency. This research was conducted in the intersection of the East Belitung district, involving 30 white pepper farmers, as well as following the marketing flow, namely traders, wholesalers and retailers. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive analysis, using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that there are 2 marketing channels in the sub-district intersection that are Channel I farmers - traders, wholesalers - retailers, channel II farmers - big traders - retailers. Hypothesis testing used is the test of determination, F test and t test. The test value of determination on marketing margins is 0.931 or 93%, which means that the independent variables in the study provide all the information needed by the marketing margin (significant effect). The F Test Value on the marketing margin, namely the four independent variables have a significant effect on the marketing margin. The results of the t-test analysis show that there are two variables that have a significant effect on marketing margins, namely the price at the farmer level and the number of marketing institutions, while those that have no significant effect are the variable sales volume and marketing costs.

Abstract

The demand for fruit commodities always increases every year and it caused in the increase in competition. Each company needs to analyze strategies to develop the business. One of the companies implementing the marketing strategy is UD Sabila Farm. The purpose of this research are 1) to analyze the company's internal and external environment. 2) choose a strategy to implement the company using IFAS and EFAS matrix 3) Analyze the Internal External (IE) matrix on the company. 4) Matching alternative strategies using IE and SWOT matrices. 5) Stage of determining strategy alternatives using QSPM. This research was conducted at UD Sabila Farm in March-April 2019. The method carried out in this study was descriptive analysis and qualitative method approach. Based on the results of the internal condition data with IFE matrix value of  3.64 while the EFE matrix value of 3.67 and the QSPM analysis carried out within the company can be implemented as a SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy by utilizing all the power to take advantage of the amount with the highest value is 6.45.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organic fertilizers and watering on the yield and vitamin E content of green bean plants on sandy beach land. This research was conducted in the sandy beach of Parangtritis, Kretek, Bantul Regency, DI Yogyakarta, altitude ± 10 m above sea level with an average annual rainfall of 1400 – 1900 mm per year and an average temperature of 24 – 32º C. The experiment was arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design including two factors. The first factor is that there are 4 levels of organic fertilizers including no fertilizer, compost, vermicompost, guanophosphate. The second factor is watering there are 2 levels covering : 1 day 1 time and 3 days 1 time. Based on the results of the study that organic fertilizer treatment gave a higher yield of green beans per hectare than without fertilizer. The treatment of watering once a day gave higher yields per hectare of mung bean than watering three times once. The combination of treatment without organic fertilizer with watering once a day gave the lowest weight of 100 seeds. The combination of treatments without organic fertilizers with watering once a day or once in three days gave a lower vitamin E content than other treatment combinationsIntisari Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk  organik dan penyiraman terhadap hasil dan kandungan vitamin E  tanaman kacang hijau di lahan pasir pantai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan pantai pasir  Parangtritis, Kretek, Kabupaten Bantul, D.I.Yogyakarta, tinggi tempat   ± 10 m di atas permukaan laut dengan rata-rata curah hujan per-tahun 1400 – 1900 mm per th dan suhu rata-rata 24 – 32º C. Percobaan disusun  dalam  Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap meliputi dua faktor.  Faktor pertama ada 4 level pupuk organik meliputi tanpa pupuk, pupuk kompos, kascing, guanofosfat. Faktor kedua  adalah penyiraman ada 2 level meliputi.  1 hari 1 kali dan  3 hari 1 kali.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk organik memberikan hasil kacang hijau per hektar lebih tinggi daripada tanpa pupuk. Perlakuan penyiraman satu hari satu kali memberikan  hasil per hektar kacang hijau lebih tinggi daripada penyiraman tiga hari satu kali.  Kombinasi perlakuan tanpa pupuk organik  dengan penyiraman satu hari satu kali memberikan bobot 100 biji terendah. Kombinasi perlakuan tanpa pupuk organik  dengan penyiraman satu hari satu kali maupum  tiga hari satu kali memberikan kandungan vitamin E lebih rendah dibandingkan kombinasi perlakuan lain.
