Abstract

Tourism industry is one of the national income sources that playing an importantrole to improve the prosperity of local communities. Mt Andong as one of tourismdestination in Central Java still lose in term of number of visitors when compare to anothertourism destionation in Central Java. Based on presurvei result that being conducted bywriter, the problem was caused by the lack of goverment asistance, the lack of publictransportation to access the tourism destination, traffic condition with minimum road light,and unpredictable nature phenomenons. Tourism development strategy was required tomaximize the benefit, and less the issue of tourism destination development effort.This study was conducted to figure out the internal and external factor that wouldbecome strengths and weaknesses, alongside as opportunities and threats in thedevelopment of the Mt. Andong tourism area. This study is a descriptive qualitative studyby using in-depth interviews, observation techniques, and documentation as the datacollection methods. Then the finding was analyzed by using SWOT method. Based on theSWOT analysis, some strategies that can be applied to develop the tourism area aredevelop new tourist attractions such as agricultural tourism, establish tour guides group,porters and enhance outdoor equipment rental services, use the tourist visa-free policy toattract foreign tourists, and held a folklore festival as variation for tourist attraction.

Abstract

Policies, strategies and patterns to develop business through a franchise system Es Teh Poci is a franchise that is widely spread in Indonesia, including in the city of Semarang. Many of the factors that influence purchase decisions undertakings franchise, one of these products and systems business. The research aims to know the influence of products and business system against purchasing decisions undertakings franchise Es Teh Poci in Semarang city either partially or simultaneous. The primary data used by giving questionnaires to frinchisee with a total of 37 respondents determined using table formula Stephen Isaac & William B. Michael. Respondents taken using a simple random sampling method. Results and discussion. Products against ice tea Teapot well with average score 3.94, business system quite well with the average score 3.93 and purchase decisions with a high average score 3.71. Significant effect against the product purchase decisions (p < 0.05) with a coefficient of 0.508 regression, R2 25.8% and the value t calculate 3.486 > t table 2.030. Enhancement products will be 1 point would purchase decisions 0.426 points. Significantly to the influential business system purchasing decisions (p < 0.05) and the coefficient of regression, R2 0.569 32.4% and the value t calculate 4.099 > t table 2.030. The increase of business system 1 point then it will increase the purchasing decision 0.426. Influential business products and systems is significant against the decision of the buyer with the regression coefficient, R2 0.579 33.6% and test result F calculate 8.584 > F table 3.28. The conclusion of business products and systems effect significantly to purchase decisions either partially or simultaneous. It is suggested to the company to improve the quality of the products and the business system, maximizing the delivery of raw materials, improve discipline and partners held a meeting of the partners, it is useful to more attractive and convincing a partner against business products and systems in business franchise decisions.

Abstract

Earnings per share show the ability of the company to provide return to the owner of the company. This study aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Return On Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) to earnings per share. The population of 15 manufacturing companies engaged in the Food and Beverage industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2016. The data used are primary data from Financial Statement. Total samples meeting the criteria were 39 samples. The analysis technique used is linear regression analysis with SPSS program. Partially Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) have no significant effect to earnings per share, while Return On Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) have a significant positive effect to earnings per share. Simultaneously, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Return On Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) have significant effect to earnings per share.

Abstract

Rural Banks (BPR) as one of the banking institutions that closely related to community services need to be fostered and supervised in order to maintain and even improve it’s performance. Since the issuence of Law number 21 in 2011 it established the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to replace the role of Bank Indonesia (BI) in regulating and overseeing the financial sector, especially the banking sector. In terms of number of BPRs have more valuation. This is a great opportunity for financial performance problems and banking crime. So it requires OJK to conduct an integrated supervision with the aim of improving the effectiveness of supervision. The bank's financial performance can be measured using the CAEL ratio, which consists of Capital, Asset, Earning, and Liability categories. The analytical method used is One-Sample Kolmogrov-Smirnov normality test and then using different test Paired Sample t-test for normal distributed data and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test for non-distributed data. The results of the research with a significance level of 5% showed a difference before and after the supervision on the CAR ratio with the result sig 0,000 <0.05. Therewas no difference before and after surveillance on the NPL ratio with the result of 0.231> 0.05. In earnings ratio there is no difference before and after supervision on BOPO ratio with result sig 0,626> 0,05 and ROA ratio with result of sig 0,372> 0,05. In the ratio of liquidity (liquidity) there is no difference before and after supervision on the ratio of CR with the results sig -0.366> 0.05 and there are differences before and after supervision on the ratio of LDR with the result sig 0.001 <0.05. Conclusions and suggestions: on the CAR and LDR ratios there are significant differences in the period before and after the supervision whereas in the ratio of NPL, BOPO, ROA and CR there is no significant difference in the period before and after the supervision. So it can be said that the switch of bank supervision from BI to OJK did not give effect to the overall change on the financial performance of BPR in Semarang Regency. To realizing better financial performance, OJK supervision should be more intensive and effective in the next period.

Abstract

Every company want to have an optimal employee performance for accomplishing company’s goal. Performance of employees affected by several factors, such as motivation and capability. Therefore, PT Telkom Access committed to improve the performance of employees or company in order to achieve customer satisfaction. In fact, there are still many of the employees could not reach the survey target and high amount of absences. It can be indicated the low of motivation, survey capability, and employee’s performance.The aim of the study is showing the influence of motivation and survey capability to employees’ performance of PT Telkom Akses Unit Survey Drawing & Data Inventory Witel Semarang. The research type was using explanatory research, the research instrument is questionnaire. The population was not very big which 50 persons, so the method of the research was using saturated sample.The findings shows that motivation has influence to employees’ performance with 0,398 correlated coefficient and 15,9% determinate coefficient, survey capability has influence to employees’ performance with Y= 1,124+0,121 X1+0,576X2 equation. It meant that the higher motivation and survey capability of the employees, the higher performance. The conclusion of the research is both variables: motivation and survey capability have significant and positive influence to the employees’ performance. The findings suggested the firm to apply reward and punishment system, fix the work facility, review the payroll, and also increase the coordination of each related unit in order the survey can be done effectively.

Abstract

Decision making consumers involves the intergration combining knowledge to evaluate two or more alternative behavior and choose the one of them. Many factors that must be considered in the decision to buy a product for consideration in decision making. Departing from consideration of for decision purchase, few customers choose car products other similar since goods was more offer design for affordable more dynamic and abreast of developments. This means that declining sales Avanza at PT. Toyota Gombel Semarang. Research purposes is to analyze the influence of products, price, and promotion of the decision to buy Toyota Avanza in PT. Nasmoco gombel semarang. The population research is customers toyota has bought avanza unit in nasmoco gombel semarang about 701 a person of years of 2011 until 2013. Sampling using slovin formula so that the number of samples used in this study as many as 100 people. Data were analyzed using test validity, reliability, simple linear regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, t-test and F test calculation using the computer program SPSS version 23 for Windows. The results showed that the product t count variable ( 7,336 ) t table ( 1,984 ) so ho turned down and ha accepted that is a difference between variables the purchase of the decision, the price t count variable ( 5,766 ) t table ( 1,984 ) so ho turned down and ha accepted that is a difference between variables of the decision purchase price, the variable t count promotion ( 6,678 ) and t table ( 1,984 ) so ho turned down and ha accepted that is a difference between variables promotion of the decision purchase , the variable f count product , price , and promotion of 19,806 f table of 2,70 so ho turned down and ha accepted that means simultaneously, products, price, and promotion significant of the decision purchase. Conclusions research is variable products have leverage on variables decision purchase, variable prices have leverage on variables decision purchase, variable promotion have leverage on variables decision purchas , and variable product, price, and promotion have leverage of the decision purchase. Advice provided for products were PT. Toyota astra motor should remain evaluate and development periodically so in the eyes of consumer products will better. The price, PT. Nasmoco gombel should stay esteem worthy the consumers are based on incomes and the competition a family car. For the promotion of companies should keep the promotion and story products more accurate given the current competition a family car more stringent.

Abstract

The research problem is low productivity of employee at department of production at PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of the dual role of women employee, work stress and discipline work against female employees work productivity in PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. Type of research is explanatory. The sampling technique used is probability sampling, with proportionate sampling type. Samples were taken with the Slovin formula of 10% (0.10), and obtained a sample of 84 respondents using a questionnaire. The analysis method is with correlation, the coefficient determination, t test, and f test by using SPSS 21.0 for windows. The Results of the categorization show that of most employees have a double role is high enough. Have a significant influence (partial) with low correlation (0,036), coefficient determination 3,6%, t count (-1,747). Categorization work stress categorization of most employees is high and have a significant influence (partial) with low correlation (0,067), coefficient determination 6,7%, t count (-2,004). Discipline of work categorization of most employees have a good discipline have a significant influence (partial) with medium correlation (0,401), coefficient determination 16,1%, t count (3,961). Dual role, work stress, and discipline of work variables together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on work productivity with medium correlation (0,036), coefficient determination 18,3%, and f count (5,964). The conclusions are that the dual role, work stress, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. The suggestions that the management need to pay attention to employees, to provide clear information to employees, and to gave sanction based on the rules.

Abstract

The presence of SMES Batik Lasem always experience a variety of obstacles, namely human resources are low and their lack of knowledge. Knowledge became an important capital in running the business. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of intellectual capital against sales performance through product innovation as the intervening variables on Batik Lasem SMES. The research type is explanatory research with a sample of 58 respondents as business owners and the sampling technique used is a sampling of saturated. Data analysis using SPSS for Windows version 7.0. Where previously used test the validity, reliability, coefficient of correlation, simple and multiple regression analysis, the determination coefficient, test of significance (t-test and F-test) as well as medote sobel. The results of the analysis indicate the presence of influence between intellectual capital to innovation of products, obtained the results of correlation of 0.401 worth being, the contribution of intellectual capital to innovation of products amounted to 16.1%. The presence of the influence between product innovation against sales performance, the correlation of results obtained 0.333 low value, the contribution of product innovation performance against sales by 11.1%. While intellectual capital has no effect on performance of the sale. Test the 0.084 acquired for correlation value is very low with the contribution amounted to 0.07%. Intellectual capital and innovation products take effect significantly to sales performance with the F-count >F-table (3.536>3.162). Then on the path analysis and the sobel test using preacher tool, there is the influence of intervening product innovation in the relationship of intellectual capital against Batik SME sales performance.

Abstract

In this study aims to determine the effect of service quality, switching barrier and trust on customer loyalty. This type of research is explanatory research to population this research is all of our customers Ahass astra 1974 (2014) and using 100 respondents as sample. Data collection technique using questionnaires. The analyzed techniciques used coefficient of correlation and determination, simple linear regression, multiple regression, t and f test with SPSS version 17. Results and discussion: service quality the ruling customers has good and excellent categories 85%, positive and significant influence customer loyalty to result by 5%. The correlation result of 82,4%, the determination coefficient 36,2%, regression 0,332 and result by t-test 1,9845 < 14,409, switching barrier high enough categories 44%, positive and significant influence customer loyalty to result by 5%. The correlation result of 60,1%, the determination coefficient 36,2%, regression 0,403 and result by t-test 1,9845 < 7,450 , and trust to high enough categories 60%, positive and significant influence customer loyalty to result by 5%. The correlation result of 72,7%, the determination coefficient 52,9%, regression 0,936 and result by t-test 1,9845 < 10,483. Simultaneously great the quality of service, switching barrier and trust to customer royalty to test result F 108.654 > 2.699 and with correlation 0,879, determination coefficient of 0,772. In conclusion, result of research partially shows the extent the service quality, switching barriers and trust, influence positive and significant on customer loyalty . Advice given that the service quality can be better always increasing the ability of employees, while the switching barrier to move higher by maintaining the relationship between employees and customers, ass well as for the high trust always giving honest and improve the company’s reputation.

Abstract

In general a company is established to obtain an optimum profit. Profit is a measure of company's ability to conduct business operations. The gap between activity ratio and profitability ratio is an element of the problem in this study. This study is to determine the effect of cash turnover, receivable turnover, and inventory turnover on profitability ROA. The type of this research is explanatory research, with sample 15 companies during 3 years periode of automotive sub sector, so there are 45 samples. Result and discussion: explains that cash turnover to profitability has significant value (2,879)> (2,021), receivable turnover has significant value to profitability of (4,556)> (2,021) and inventory turnover has significant value to profitability of (2,297) > (2.021). In the discussion t value is (2.021). the three variables have t value > t table, which signifies significance. While the test results of the three variables between cash turnover, receivables turnover, and inventory turnover on profitability earn high significant value. This is evidenced by the results of the F test, which obtained F value of 9.691 9.691> 3.23 F table, With a significant level of 0.000 <0.05 simultaneously between variables cash turnover, receivable turnover, and receivable turnover get a significant value to profitability, but asset turnover in 2014-2016 has decreased resulting in resulting profitability decreased. Companies are expected to better manage assets owned to be more effective and efficient so as to achieve maximum profit. In the next research is expected to increase the variables and periods in the study.
