Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the reseach is to know a scene that represent existence of Islamic brotherhood, and how the scene of the Islamic brotherhood is viewed from the semiotics model of Charles sanders. This research is a qualitative study that examine the concept of the triangle meaning that is representment/sign, interpretant, and object. The results of this study find 14 representment scenes that represent Islamic brotherhood. As for the object representing Islamic brotherhood are nuances of a character's expression, or the circumstances being where people are.  The interpretation obtained in the film shows the destructive factor and the booster of Islamic brotherhood from the attitudes indicated by the representament and object.AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adegan yang merepresentasikan eksistensi persaudaraan Islam, dan bagaimana pemandangan persaudaraan Islam dilihat dari model semiotika Charles Sanders. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, yang mengkaji konsep segitiga yaitu representasi/tanda, interpretant, dan objek. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan 14 adegan representasi yang merepresentasikan persaudaraan Islam. Adapun objek yang merepresentasikan persaudaraan Islam adalah nuansa ekspresi seorang tokoh, atau keadaan di mana orang berada. Penafsiran yang diperoleh dalam film tersebut menunjukkan faktor perusak dan pendorong persaudaraan Islam dari sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh representasi dan objek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkapkan tentang respon da’i (pelaku dakwah) di Tenjowaringin Salawu Tasikmalaya dalam menghadapi gerakan Jemaat Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI). Penelitian dengan metode etnografi ini menggambarkan respon dan strategi da’i dalam menghadapi gerakan JAI di Desa Tenjowaringin dan Kutawaringin (desa pemekaran Tenjowaringin). Para da’i merespon gerakan JAI tersebut dengan dua kegiatan dakwah yaitu dakwah defensif atau bertahan dan dakwah ofensif atau aktif. Dalam melaksanakan dakwah secara aktif para da’i melakukan empat strategi dakwah: 1) dakwah bil-hikmah atau memberi contoh berupa kata-kata maupun perbuatan yang bernilai islami, 2) dakwah bil Mauidhatil Hasanah atau dakwah dengan pemberian nasehat dan sosialisasi, 3) dakwah bil Mujadalah atau dakwah melalui dialog dan perdebatan, dan 4) dakwah bil-hal atau dakwah melalui pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM).

Abstract

The development of technology and the times force humans to adapt, including in preaching. Although new communication technology (da'wah transmission) cannot completely replace old technology, it can allow old technology to take on a new role. This causes moving with the times in the corridor of Islam so that it can develop in accordance with the methods of da'wah transmission, which includes the use of Facebook social media as a tool to promote da'wah through calligraphy, so this study reveals several things about the utilization of Facebook and cutting elements of da'wah based on the title "Utilization of Facebook as a Means of Da'wah Through Calligraphy". Using a descriptive approach, this research describes and analyzes ideas by using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with resource persons, namely the founders and collaborators of the calligraphy community in Padang, West Sumatra, "Kaligrafi Sakato". From the results of this study, it was found that Facebook is seen as an effective means of preaching through verses of the Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunnah that are beautifully written by the recipients of calligraphy services, namely the Sakato calligraphy community

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the representations, objects, and interpreters in the Ulong comic strip as a medium for da'wah, as well as to find out the Islamic moral messages contained in it. The research method uses descriptive methods and semiotic analysis of the episodes of the Ulong comic strip on Instagram social media. The results show that the Ulong comic strip is a comic strip that functions to spread da'wah and contains Islamic moral messages such as an appeal not to be arrogant, the negative impact of gibah, maintaining trustworthiness, not exaggeration or israf, the negative impact of disobedience to parents, ups and downs faith, and an appeal to be careful of istidraj. Abstract

This article aims to find out how communication (proselytizing) message appeals in the literacy proselytizing of Ustadz Giovani Van Rega. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study has revealed that the message appeals used by Ustadz Rega are rational message appeals, appeals of fear, appeal for rewards, and motivational appeals. Ustadz Rega is considered using a rational appeal because he refers to the Qur'an and hadith. While the appeal of fear clearly understood from his statement that Indonesian Muslim youths Islam will suffer from weak faith, physical, science, and weak creativity if they are illiterate. The proposition of the appeal of reward is the more a Muslim well literate, the more honorable he is. Whilts the motivational appeal refers to his that the dakwah of literacy is a necessity in order to be able to conquer the world.
