Abstract

The aim of this training is to improve students' abilities in computer skills and knowledge. This training is divided into six meetings in order to deliver the material well. The method used in this training is a distance learning system. This training teaches skills and knowledge in the fields of hardware, software, typing training using a computer and writing correspondence using a computer. The results of the evaluation of each meeting showed that the absorption capacity of the training participants increased with each meeting. In the final evaluation for the training participants, the score for computer skills (typing and correspondence) was 81% and basic computer knowledge was 90%.

Abstract

Penggunaan IP CCTV di masyarakat merupakan sebuah hal yang umum pada akhir-akhir ini. Penggunaannya pun beragam mulai dari pemantauan lingkungan dari tindak kejahatan hingga pemantauan sebagai tindakan preventif dalam kebencanaan. Jenis dan bentuk IP CCTV semakin beragam dan sebagian besar sudah memiliki kemampuan untuk terhubung ke jaringan komputer, salah satunya adalah IP CCTV murah yang memanfaatkan koneksi FTP dalam operasinya. FreeBSD merupakan salah satu sistem operasi yang digunakan pada infrastruktur jaringan komputer dan juga memiliki kemampuan untuk dapat digunakan pada sistem tertanam khususnya dalam ekosistem IoT. Salah satu kekurangan dari penggunaan FTP server umumnya adalah tidak adanya fitur manajemen berkas rekaman IP CCTV. Dengan adanya sebuah aplikasi yang mampu mengelola rekaman pada penyimpanan FTP server tentunya mempermudah dalam hal pengolahan dan terutama dalam efisiensi penggunaan tempat penyimpanan yang kapasitasnya terbatas. Hal ini terbukti berhasil dengan hadirnya aplikasi tersebut sehingga penyimpanan rekaman IP CCTV pada suatu FTP server dapat dikelola dengan baik.

Abstract

Inventory management is important for companies so that optimal efficiency and effectiveness can be achieved. With modern information technology and data management, companies can use inventory information systems to manage data in a more structured and efficient way. Many studies related to inventory information systems have been carried out. However, in those studies, the designed information systems have not been able to issue automatic warnings for inventories that are about to run out. The object of this research is TB X. Previous research has designed an inventory information system at TB X which still requires the user to operate it manually, namely in terms of transferring operational software data to a spreadsheet for methods calculation and vice versa. Therefore, in this research an information system will be designed so that the company can control its inventory more easily. The design of the inventory control information system uses the waterfall method and the application test uses the black box testing method. The design of the inventory control information system will implement the Q method algorithm. Based on the research results, it is known that the designed information system has advantages over previous research, namely being able to issue warning statuses automatically, easier to control inventory compared to the manual method, faster in finding the information needed, more environmentally friendly because it is paperless , making procedures more orderly and avoiding repetitive data errors or missing data, more accurate profit calculations because the system is directly calculated according to sales transaction data, and more accurate or reducing errors in recording the amount of inventory stored compared to the manual method.
