Abstract

The rapid development of the industrial world has resulted in increasingly tight competition among companies. This condition shows the importance of improving performance, not only in a company but also other parties in the related supply chain, in order to compete with other companies or supply chains. The good performance of a supply chain will certainly increase the customers satisfaction. Therefore, performance measurement needs to be carried out so that a supply chain can find out how well it currently performing is and keep improving it. Abstract

Simulasi Monte Carlo dan Metode P(t, E) banyak digunakan dalam penelitian pengendalian persediaan, namun belum membahas pengaruh pola data permintaan terhadap biaya pengendalian persediaan. Objek penelitian ini adalah Mr. Kitchen. Penelitian sebelumnya mengkaji dua metode tersebut dan terpilih Metode Simulasi Monte Carlo. Namun penelitian tersebut memiliki kelemahan dimana data permintaan yang digunakan jumlahnya terlalu sedikit dan periodenya dalam satuan bulan, sehingga kurang mencerminkan pola data permintaan yang sesungguhnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengkajian pengaruh pola permintaan terhadap metode pengendalian persediaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan metode pengendalian persediaan yang terbaik untuk pola permintaan konstan, trend dan seasonal adalah Metode Simulasi Monte Carlo. Hal tersebut dikarenakan menghasilkan total biaya pengendalian persediaan yang lebih kecil dibandingkan metode P(t, E) Multi-Item. Selisih total biaya pengendalian untuk pola permintaan konstan adalah Rp 33.599.585,34 atau 32,39%; pola permintaan trend adalah Rp 57.813.023,82 atau 21,32% dan untuk pola permintaan seasonal adalah Rp 54.480.804,55 atau 19,65%.

Abstract

Apotek merupakan salah satu tempat pelayanan kefarmasian untuk masyarakat. Tingkat kepuasan pelanggan apotek sangat dipengaruhi oleh waktu tunggu pelayanan resep, sehingga pihak apotek harus dapat memberikan waktu tunggu yang sesingkat mungkin. Penelitian sebelumnya yang membahas sistem antrian di apotek maupun bagian farmasi di rumah sakit telah banyak dilakukan, Namun penelitian-yang membahas tentang perbaikan tata letak (layout) untuk memperbaiki sistem antrian masih belum banyak dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini akan diusulkan penambahan jumlah tenaga kerja dan perbaikan layout apotek untuk meningkatkan service level dan mengurangi waktu antrian. Objek penelitian ini adalah Apotek Cipta Farma yang menghadapi permasalahan waktu mengantri pelanggan yang terlalu lama. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki kondisi saat ini adalah metode simulasi. Pada penelitian ini, terdapat tiga skenario yang dibuat, yaitu skenario pertama: memperbaiki layout apotek saja, skenario kedua: menambah pegawai saja dan skenario ketiga: memperbaiki layout apotek dan menambah pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, didapatkan bahwa skenario terbaik adalah skenario ketiga dengan rata-rata ukuran performansi service level keseluruhan meningkat dari 76.396% menjadi 94.671% dan rata-rata lamanya waktu mengantri menurun dari 30.291 menit menjadi 8.304 menit. Namun, jika dilihat berdasarkan ukuran performansi lamanya waktu menunggu di kursi tunggu, maka skenario pertama adalah yang terbaik dengan waktu tunggu menurun dari 18.788 menit menjadi 12.602 menit. Manfaat dari penerapan skenario usulan adalah jumlah pelanggan yang menunggu di antrian pemesanan obat maupun kursi tunggu akan berkurang, durasi pelanggan menunggu di antrian pemesanan obat maupun kursi tunggu akan lebih singkat, jumlah pelanggan yang gagal dilayani akan berkurang sehingga tingkat pelayanan apotek menjadi lebih baik dari sistem saat ini.

Abstract

Penelitian yang membahas antrian di apotek maupun bagian farmasi rumah sakit telah banyak dilakukan. Namun penelitian yang menggunakan shift kerja dan bertujuan mengurangi waktu menunggu sekaligus meningkatkan utilisasi pegawai masih belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian sebelumnya telah mengusulkan penambahan jumlah pegawai dan perbaikan layout di sebuah apotek untuk meningkatkan service level dan mengurangi waktu antrian. Namun ternyata waktu menunggu proses peracikan obat menjadi lebih lama karena masih dilakukan oleh satu orang. Dalam penelitian ini akan diusulkan pengaturan shift kerja sehingga total waktu menunggu menjadi lebih singkat dan utilisasi pegawai meningkat. Skenario yang diusulkan adalah penerapan dua shift kerja dimana masing-masing shift menggunakan satu orang pegawai (skenario 1) dan penggunaan dua orang pegawai pada jam sibuk serta penerapan dua shift kerja di luar jam sibuk (skenario 2). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa skenario usulan 1 unggul dalam utilisasi hari Jumat dan Sabtu serta waktu menunggu obat, sedangkan skenario awal unggul dalam rata-rata waktu mengantri. Skenario usulan 2 hanya unggul dalam utilisasi hari Senin–Kamis. Oleh karena itu, apabila ingin memperoleh tingkat utilisasi terbesar dan waktu menunggu obat yang paling singkat, maka sebaiknya menerapkan skenario usulan 1. Namun apabila ingin memperoleh rata-rata waktu mengantri pelanggan yang paling singkat, maka sebaiknya menggunakan skenario awal.

Abstract

Kelurahan Sukawarna is one of the public facilities provided by the government to deliver service to the community within Kecamatan Sukajadi. To provide good service, one good way that can be done is to improve the knowledge and skills of ASN and LKK at Kelurahan Sukawarna. Currently, they use Microsoft PowerPoint, but some of them have only a low level of mastery, so the use of Microsoft PowerPoint in supporting their work is not optimal. Therefore, lecturers from the OSI expertise group and students carried out community service activities in training on the use of Basic Microsoft PowerPoint for ASN and LKK at Kelurahan Sukawarna. Considering the current Covid-19 pandemic, the training was conducted online using the Zoom Cloud Meetings application. The training was held for two days. On the first day, participants were given training material about using Microsoft PowerPoint, namely the File, Home, Insert, Design, Transitions, and Animations features. On the second day, training evaluation was carried out by giving assignments to the participants. Based on the assessment results of assignments, it can be seen that the participants made assignments well. The features taught in training had been used well in the assignments. The training benefits ASN and LKK at Kelurahan Sukawarna in improving their knowledge and skills in using Basic Microsoft PowerPoint. With this improvement, it is hoped that they can deliver better service to the community, e.g., socializing the prevention of Covid-19 and so on.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction with a product could be determined based on several factors including quality, price, and fast distribution. Distribution activity is one of the important activities because it guarantees that products are circulated properly, do not accumulate in warehouses, and delivered on time. For micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), distribution arrangements could provide significant savings in distance and distribution costs so as to increase profits. Besides that, distribution arrangements could also guarantee that products are delivered on time to consumers. This resarch uses a simple distribution determination method, the Savings Matrix method, followed by the Nearest Insert, Nearest Neighbour, and Farthest Insert heuristic algorithms. The purpose of this research is to help MSMEs that have the main distribution process to be able to arrange their distribution routes so that deliveries could be made on time and at minimal cost. In this research, a numerical example was used of a plastic equipment MSME which had problems with late delivery and the occurrence of round trips so that it became inefficient. In addition to determining the distribution route, four scenarios are also given for MSME to consider thus the distance and cost savings obtained are more significant. From the results of the calculation of determining the distribution route, it is found that the Savings Matrix method and the Nearest Neighbour heuristic method provide savings of around 12,82% or IDR 698,550 per month.

Abstract

Pabrik mie Ho Kie San merupakan sebuah UMKM yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Patikraja, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Pabrik ini memproduksi mie tradisional yang terdiri dari mie halus dan mie kasar. Pabrik mengalami masalah dalam menentukan jumlah operator produksi, khususnya di bagian packing. Hal tersebut dikarenakan salah satu proses dalam pembuatan mie adalah pengeringan, dimana proses ini sangat bergantung dengan cuaca. Apabila cuaca hujan, maka proses pengeringan akan terhambat. Akibatnya hasil pengeringan yang akan dikemas menjadi sedikit. Hal tersebut menyebabkan jumlah operator packing terlalu banyak dan target produksi juga tidak tercapai. Oleh karena itu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (abdimas) untuk membantu mitra dalam menentukan jumlah operator produksi yang optimal pada tiap stasiun kerja agar kapasitas produksinya dapat meningkat. Metode yang digunakan adalah konsultasi dan pelatihan. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi konsultasi awal tentang kondisi di pabrik, perhitungan waktu baku, penyusunan peta proses operasi, perhitungan kapasitas produksi saat ini, penyeimbangan lintasan dengan strategi paralleling dan perhitungan jumlah operator yang optimal, pembuatan program spreadsheet, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 Oktober-21 Desember 2022. Mitra sasarannya adalah pabrik mie Ho Kie San, dimana peserta yang mewakili mitra ada 1 orang, yaitu dari bagian Human Resource Development. Berdasarkan hasil konsultasi dan pelatihan diperoleh jumlah operator yang dibutuhkan, sehingga kapasitas mixing yang semula 1,43 ton/hari meningkat menjadi 2,09 ton/hari (peningkatan 46,15%) dan kapasitas packing yang semula 0,4-0,67 ton/hari meningkat menjadi 1,55-1,63 ton/hari (meningkat 138,81%-287,75%). Hasil dari pelatihan tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu pabrik dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi, sekaligus juga meningkatkan kapasitas produksinya. Ho Kie San is a Micro, Small, and Medium-scale Enterprise (MSME), which takes place in Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The factory produces traditional dried noodles with two different cut sizes, fine and coarse. The factory found an issue determining the optimal number of operators on the shop floor, especially in the packaging station. This is because one of the processes in making noodles is drying, which is very dependent on the weather. If it rains, the drying process will be hampered. Consequently, the results of drying to be packaged are small. This causes the number of packing operators to be too many, and the production target is not achieved. Therefore, community service activities are carried out to assist partners in determining the optimal number of production operators at each workstation to increase production capacity. The method used is consultation and training to determine the optimal number of operators at each workstation. The steps done involve 1) consultation, 2) standard time calculation, 3) operation process chart construction, 4) existing production capacity calculation, 5) line balancing by paralleling and calculating the optimal number of operators, 6) spreadsheet formulation, 7) training, and 8) evaluation. This activity was held on 19 October-21 December 2022. The target partner is the Ho Kie San noodle factory, where 1 participant represents the partner from the Human Resource Development division. Based on the results of consultation and training, the number of operators needed was obtained, so that the mixing capacity, which was originally 1.43 tons/day, increased to 2.09 tons/day (an increase of 46.15%) and the packing capacity, which was originally 0.4-0.67 tons/day increased to 1.55-1.63 tons/day (an increase of 138.81% -287.75%). The outcomes of the training provided are expected to help the factory solve the issues of idle time and increase its production capacity.

Abstract

Inventory management is important for companies so that optimal efficiency and effectiveness can be achieved. With modern information technology and data management, companies can use inventory information systems to manage data in a more structured and efficient way. Many studies related to inventory information systems have been carried out. However, in those studies, the designed information systems have not been able to issue automatic warnings for inventories that are about to run out. The object of this research is TB X. Previous research has designed an inventory information system at TB X which still requires the user to operate it manually, namely in terms of transferring operational software data to a spreadsheet for methods calculation and vice versa. Therefore, in this research an information system will be designed so that the company can control its inventory more easily. The design of the inventory control information system uses the waterfall method and the application test uses the black box testing method. The design of the inventory control information system will implement the Q method algorithm. Based on the research results, it is known that the designed information system has advantages over previous research, namely being able to issue warning statuses automatically, easier to control inventory compared to the manual method, faster in finding the information needed, more environmentally friendly because it is paperless , making procedures more orderly and avoiding repetitive data errors or missing data, more accurate profit calculations because the system is directly calculated according to sales transaction data, and more accurate or reducing errors in recording the amount of inventory stored compared to the manual method.

Abstract

One of the main aspects that determines the successful of managing a supply chain system or supply chain management (SCM) is transportation planning. The problem of determining vehicle routes or commonly known as the vehicle routing problem (VRP) is one of the important studies in transportation planning at the operational level. Determining the right vehicle routes can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of a transportation system and related supply chain systems. This research focuses on the asymmetric capacitated vehicle routing problem with time windows (ACVRPTW), which is a vehicle routing problem that takes into account vehicle capacity, asymmetric return distances between customers, and delivery time constraints. A mathematical model is formulated based on the research objective to be achieved, i.e. minimizing the total shipping costs consisting of travel costs, overtime delivery costs, late delivery compensation costs, and re-delivery costs. Two alternative solution algorithms are developed, namely sequential insertion (SI) and ant colony optimization (ACO). A numerical example is provided to present the results of research on a clothing convection industry, where the ACO algorithm is proven to be able to produce better solutions than the SI algorithm.

Abstract

Ho Kie San Noodle Factory is one of the MSMEs in Patikraja District, Central Java that produces traditional noodles. Previously, the community service team had assisted this partner in increasing its production potential. However, there are still many improvements that can be made. The management conveyed the need for Kaizen (continuous improvement) material. Therefore, community service activities were carried out again in this factory. The method used is training. There were 9 participants who attended, representing the human resource department, finance department, general department, administration department, technical department, production department, inventory department and marketing department. The stages of the activities carried out were factory surveys and interviews with management, training implementation preparation, compiling training materials, filling preliminary questionnaires, training to representatives of each department within the company regarding the concept of continuous improvement and streamlined, and filling evaluation questionnaires. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the level of understanding of the participants increased after the training. Providing materials of Kaizen (continuous improvement) as well as production flow streamlining can help participants in streamlining the flow in each department and can also give motivation to continue making improvements in each department.
