Abstract

The aim of this training is to improve students' abilities in computer skills and knowledge. This training is divided into six meetings in order to deliver the material well. The method used in this training is a distance learning system. This training teaches skills and knowledge in the fields of hardware, software, typing training using a computer and writing correspondence using a computer. The results of the evaluation of each meeting showed that the absorption capacity of the training participants increased with each meeting. In the final evaluation for the training participants, the score for computer skills (typing and correspondence) was 81% and basic computer knowledge was 90%.

Abstract

Indragiri Village is located in Rancabali District, Bandung Regency, has four dusun spread out, one of which is Dusun Ciparay which contains Kampung Stamplat. In this village live 28 heads of families who generally make a living as vegetable farmers, coffee farmers, ranchers, and tea plantation employees. The role of information technology includes library management information systems, both in conventional libraries (electronic book catalogues) and digital libraries which are oriented to digital data and komputer networks. Book collections in the library are also transferred to electronic media, for example collections of journals, proceedings, and textbooks in the form of e-books. The purpose of community service activities (PkM) in this paper is the purpose of the first phase of activity, namely making digital library applications (software) for children in Kampung Stamplat, Dusun Ciparay, Indragiri Village, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency. The scope of PkM activities in the first stage is the results of application products installed on komputers, making training modules for using applications. The purpose of the second phase of activity (continued) is the socialization and training on the use of applications for the children of Kampung Stamplat which will be realized in September s.d. October 2021 through 3 training activities. The results of the activities that can be conveyed in this scientific paper are digital library application products that will be used by the children of Kampung Stamplat, Dusun Ciparay, Indragiri Village, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency as a digital learning medium. The digital library can be accessed by all children in Kampung Stamplat as a learning companion media, especially studying materials related to the curriculum for both elementary and junior high schools.

Abstract

SMA Harapan Kasih merupakan salah satu SMA yang berlokasi di kota Bandung yang sangat peduli dengan literasi di bidang komputer untuk para siswanya. Saat ini SMA Harapan kasih memiliki keterbatasan dalam pengembangan kemampuan komputer bagi para siswanya di bidang desain 3D dikarenakan tidak adanya peralatan dan tenaga pengajar di bidang tersebut. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain 3D siswa SMA Harapan Kasih Bandung melalui penggunaan perangkat lunak ThingkerCAD dan printer 3D. Metode pelatihan melibatkan sesi teori dan praktik yang diikuti oleh 60 siswa dari berbagai kelas. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa dalam mendesain dan mencetak model 3D. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis tetapi juga memotivasi siswa untuk lebih mendalami teknologi desain 3D.   Harapan Kasih High School is one of the high schools located in Bandung that is very concerned with computer literacy for its students. Currently, SMA Harapan Kasih has limitations in developing computer skills for its students in the field of 3D design due to the lack of equipment and teaching staff in this field. This training aims to improve the 3D design skills of SMA Harapan Kasih Bandung students through the use of ThingkerCAD software and 3D printers. The training method involves theory and practice sessions attended by 60 students from various classes. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' abilities in designing and printing 3D models. This training not only improves technical skills but also motivates students to further explore 3D design technology.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi siswa SMA dalam bidang telepresence. Telepresence merupakan teknologi penting di era digital karena untuk meningkatkan koneksi antara manusia yang berjarak jauh. Pemahaman terhadap teknologi telepresence sangat penting dan relevan saat ini. Hal ini mengingat peranannya yang terus berkembang dalam bidang pendidikan, kesehatan, industri, hingga komunikasi global. Kegiatan ini melibatkan siswa kelas XI IPA dan XI IPS di SMA Harapan Kasih Bandung, dengan total peserta pengabdian sebanyak 34 siswa. Materi yang diberikan mencakup pengertian telepresence, contoh implementasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta penjelasan konsep dan implementasinya. Evaluasi hasil pengabdian dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pretest dan post-test yang berfungsi untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta pengabdian. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa hanya 5 dari 34 siswa (15%) yang memahami konsep dasar telepresence, dan 9 siswa (26%) dapat menjawab soal dengan benar. Setelah sesi pembelajaran, hasil post-test meningkat secara signifikan: 29 siswa (85%) memahami konsep telepresence, dan 27 siswa (79%) mampu menjawab soal-soal teknis dengan benar. Selain terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada siswa, tetapi terjadi juga peningkatan minat siswa terhadap teknologi telepresence.

Abstract

Business world, there are quite a lot of problems other than profitable income. Often there are errors in recording data that are the source of information from the business world. Likewise in the business world of a motorcycle repair shop, there are often errors in recording data both from the service or repair process and the sale of motorcycle spare parts and accessories. In the motorcycle repair shop business, errors often occur in recording spare part and accessory inventory because of the many types of spare parts and accessories. In addition, there are also several errors in calculating the total amount that must be paid by customers because they still use manual calculations as well as in refunds. Seeing these problems, an information system is needed that can overcome this problem, so an information system will be built by utilizing information technology both in terms of hardware and software that carries ease of use / user friendly. This Motorcycle Repair Shop Information System Application will be implemented with MySQL as a database and Java Netbeans as software and using the SDLC method in designing the information system. MySQL database and Java Netbeans are software that can be implemented in several operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, MacOS and Linux so they are not limited to just one operating system. Conclusions that can be obtained from the result of tcreating a Motorcycle Information System Application has provided convenience to employees in entering data in the form of spare part data, customer data or transactions so that errors in calculating the total amount to be paid by customers can be overcome because with this Motorcycle Workshop Information System Application all calculations are done automatically so that employees no longer experience difficulties or make errors in calculating the total amount. This application provides convenience and reduces errors that are commonly made by employees

Abstract

Di Dusun “X” terdapat salah satu kampung dengan jumlah pelajar tingkat SD dan SMP berkisar 14-20 orang. Sepulang sekolah, anak-anak ini sering melakukan kegiatan belajar bersama di bangunan serbaguna berukuran ± 4,8 x 3,6 m2. Bangunan ini juga sering digunakan untuk kegiatan lainnya seperti misalnya untuk kegiatan rapat, pertemuan, acara kebersamaan, dsb. Masalahnya ruangan ini belum memiliki fasilitas yang memadai baik dari segi bangunannya maupun fasilitas fisik yang ada di dalamnya. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, maka dilakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan mengusulkan sarana ruang belajar yang ergonomis. Metode yang digunakan untuk studi ergonomi adalah metode desain thinking yang mencakup 5 tahapan dengan perancangan fasilitas fisik berdasarkan data antropometri. Penggunaan data antropometri dalam perancangan disesuaikan dengan pengguna fasilitas yaitu kelompok usia 7-12 tahun dan 21-47 tahun. Dalam proses perancangan, dipertimbangkan juga atribut yang diinginkan terkait perancangan meja untuk belajar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rancangan meja lipat dan kursi lipat yang multifungsi, layout ruang serbaguna, usulan penambahan rak sepatu, pembuatan undakan anak tangga, pelapisan dinding, pengecatan tirai, dan penambahan 4 buah lampu LED.Kata Kunci:  Desain Thinking, Antropometri, Ergonomi, Ruang Belajar

Abstract

At this time, computer lessons at the high school level still need a variety of materials to meet the progress of today's era. Computer training in various fields is indispensable for high school students. One of the fundamentals is training in filmmaking. This training teaches skills and knowledge in the fields of exposure, shooting techniques, and lighting techniques. This training is divided into eight meetings to deliver the material properly. The trainees have been very excited to participate in this filmmaking training. The final evaluation results for the training participants are given in the form of questions and practice of making films. Based on the results of the final evaluation, it was found that the average absorption capacity of the training participants reached 75%.
