Abstract

Pesantren is the best means to improve students' reading. The reason is that the life of students in Islamic boarding schools is dominated by learning and da'wah. However, previous studies show that students' reading interest is also very low. In Lirboyo, the students' interest is dominated by memorization, while only a few are interested in enriching their reading. In this context, this research is here to see the phenomenon of Mading Hidayah's role in increasing the reading interest of MHM Lirboyo students, Kediri City. This study uses a qualitative method. Data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. The results showed that Mading Hidayah is a mass media managed independently by the students who have a strategic role and function if managed properly and can be used as a propaganda medium to increase students' reading interest.

Abstract

This research focuses on applying the concept of integration of pesantren learning models in schools. The location of this study in As-Syaf’iah Islamic School, Mojosari Kec. Loceret, Nganjuk. The selection of this concentration, as evidence from previous studies that are modelled. The purpose of this study is to describe the pesantren-based learning model implemented in the As-Syafi'ah Mojosari Islamic Middle School. To analyze aspects that contribute to the implementation of the pesantren based learning model in As-Syafi'ah Mojosari Islamic Middle School. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This study uses interviews, observation and documentation as a way to explore data. The data that has been collected will be analyzed and described in accordance with research concentrations. The results of this study can be conveyed that the pesantren-based Learning model implemented in As-Syafi'ah Mojosari Islamic Middle School runs without changing the typical pesantren. All activities are carried out by all students who are also students in As-Syafi'ah Islamic Middle School. The smooth running of these activities is supported by the mandatory boarding program, so that supervision of all santri is very easy, moreover supported by the location of school buildings and dormitories in one area located in the middle of Ngepeh village. In addition to the mandatory boarding program, there are also tahfidz and entrepreneurship programs. The tahfidz program in question is obligatory to memorize the Qur'an Juz 30 and it is recommended to memorize all the Qur'an.

Abstract

This research is framed in a big topic, namely programs, management and school facilities that are of interest to the people of Garum Sub-district, Blitar Regency. Evidently, these topics have an impact on society on how to develop children's intelligence. The community will choose a particular school based on their understanding of children's learning. This also happened in elementary schools in Garum Subdistrict, Blitar District. The problems raised in this study include questions about the understanding of the people of Garum District in Blitar Regency in choosing schools for their children and the impact of the understanding of the people of Garum District in Blitar Regency on educational institutions. The type of research approach is qualitative-descriptive. In this research, data is collected, then narrated according to the perspective of community development theory. The results of this study Garum District Community Blitar District understands that education is an important means of developing children's intelligence. For this reason, they choose schools with criteria that have the best facilities. This view is the basis for schools to improve themselves into public service institutions.

Abstract

This study employed a qualitative research design with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The key informants comprised the principal, the vice principal for curriculum affairs, and teachers of MTs Az Zahro. Data were analyzed through processes of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, while the credibility of findings was ensured through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results reveal that the principal fulfills an active role as a motivator, role model, and supervisor. He encourages teachers by adopting persuasive strategies, engaging directly in school activities, and providing recognition for strong performance. His democratic and communicative leadership style has fostered a positive and collegial working environment. The majority of teachers demonstrated a strong work ethic, reflected in their discipline, sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm for teaching. Nevertheless, a small number of teachers exhibited decreased motivation, attributed to professional fatigue or external challenges.

Abstract

Generasi Z yang umumnya lahir pada rentang 1997–2012 tumbuh dalam lingkungan digital dengan akses informasi yang cepat dan beragam. Kedekatan dengan teknologi memengaruhi pola belajar, komunikasi, dan interaksi sosial mereka, sekaligus menghadirkan tantangan bagi pendidikan dalam membentuk karakter dan kedisiplinan Islami. Madrasah memiliki peran strategis dalam mengintegrasikan pencapaian akademik dengan pembentukan karakter religius dan kedisiplinan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi MTsN 1 Kota Kediri dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan Islami sekaligus mendukung prestasi siswa Generasi Z. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala madrasah, guru, dan siswa kelas IX. Analisis data dilakukan melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi madrasah dilakukan melalui pembiasaan ibadah, seperti shalat berjamaah dan tadarus, keteladanan guru, pemberian apresiasi terhadap perilaku disiplin dan prestasi, serta penciptaan lingkungan madrasah yang religius. Strategi tersebut tidak hanya mendukung pembentukan kedisiplinan Islami, tetapi juga memberikan ruang bagi pengembangan prestasi akademik dan nonakademik siswa melalui berbagai kegiatan dan kompetisi. Di sisi lain, pengaruh teknologi digital dan karakteristik gaya belajar Generasi Z menjadi tantangan yang mendorong madrasah untuk mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif melalui pemanfaatan teknologi, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan aktivitas kolaboratif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pembiasaan Islami, keteladanan, apresiasi, dan adaptasi terhadap karakter Generasi Z dapat menjadi strategi yang relevan dalam membangun siswa yang disiplin, religius, dan berprestasi.
