Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui KcBK dan KcBO secara in vitro Ampas Aren (AA) yang difermentasi dengan bakteri selulolitik yang berupa MA-11 dengan penambahan unsur Nitrogen (N), Phospor (P) dan Potassium (K). Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dengan dua faktor yang diulang 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah penambahan NPK sebanyak 1,2% bobot/bobot.  Faktor kedua adalah level lama pemeraman (3, 7, 14, 21 hari). Parameter yang diamati adalah KcBK dan KcBO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata nilai KcBK dan KcBO berturut-turut adalah 27,77% - 46,70% dan 28,64% - 46,70%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengolahan AA melalui fermentasi dengan penambahan NPK sebanyak 1,2% bobot/bobot yang dikombinasikan dengan lama pemeraman mampu meningkatkan KcBK dan KcBO serta mempercepat proses fermentasi.Kata kunci: ampas aren; fermentasi; kecernaanABSTRACTThis research was conducted to evaluate in vitro digestibility of Arenga pinnata merr.fermented with cellulolytic bacteria in the form of MA-11 and added of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) like as NPK fertilizer. The research was done with completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with two factor and 3 replications. The first factor is additions of NPK as much as 1,2% W/W. The second factor was level a long time of fermentation (3, 7, 14 and 14 days). The results showed that average of Dry Matter Digestibility (DMD) and Organic Matter Digestibility (OMD) respectively were 27,77% - 46,70% and 28,64% - 46,70%. It can be concluded that processing of Arenga pinnata merr  by fermentation with additions of NPK as much as 1,2% W/W combined a long time  of fermentation can improve DMD and OMD, and accelerate the with time of fermentation process.Keywords: Arenga pinnata merr; fermentation; digestibility

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengevaluasi level suplementasi protein terproteksi pada wafer pakan komplit berbasis limbah agroindustri terhadap kadar protein dan urea darah kambing perah Peranakan Ettawa. Ketersediaan pakan secara kontinyu perlu untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ternak. Penggunaan bahan pakan yang berasal dari limbah agroindustri merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mencukupi kebutuhan pakan, namun penggunaan bahan ini mempunyai kendala yaitu kadar protein yang rendah karena itu suplementasi protein perlu dilakukan. Kambing mempunyai mikroba dalam rumen, mikroba tersebut mendegradasi protein pakan menjadi NH3, sehingga suplementasi protein penting untuk diproteksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pakan komplit yang dibentuk wafer dengan pemberian level suplementasi protein terproteksi. Pembentukan wafer berfungsi untuk meningkatkan daya simpan dan mengurangi keambaan pakan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) menggunakan 3 perlakuan level suplementasi protein terproteksi 0%, 4% dan 8% dan 5 kelompok berdasarkan bulan laktasi, kelompok sebagai ulangan. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 12 minggu dengan perincian 4 minggu produksi wafer, 2 minggu adaptasi, 2 minggu preliminary dan 4 minggu perlakuan. Pengambilan data dilakuakan pada minggu terakhir dari perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suplementasi protein terproteksi dalam wafer pakan komplit berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar protein darah dan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar urea darah kambing perah Peranakan Ettawa. Wafer pakan komplit berbasis limbah agroindustri terbaik adalah level suplementasi 4% dilihat dari kadar protein dan urea darah.   Kata kunci:  Protein terproteksi, pakan komplit, kambing PE, protein darah dan urea darah.   ABSTRACT The objectives of the research were to evaluate level of supplementation protected protein on complete feed wafer based on agroindustrial by-product to blood protein and urea concentration in Ettawa Crossbreed lactation goat. The availability of feed continously was needed to increase productivity of livestock. The using agroindustrial by-product was one of requirement feedstuff for the goat but, the using of the matter had a problem that less protein so, needed protein suplementation. Goat had microbe in the rumen and the microbe degraded feed protein become NH3 so, protein suplementation was important to protect. This research used complete feed that formed wafer with suplementation level of protected protein. The function form of wafer was to increase long live of storage and decrease of feed voluminus. This research was done with block randomize design with three of treatments suplementation level of protected protein 0%, 4% and 8% and five of blocks to lactation month, group as repetition. This research was done during 12 weeks with detail 4 weeks  of wafer production, 2 weeks of adaptation, 2 weeks of prelimiary and 4 weeks of treatment. The collecting data were taken on the last week of treatment. The result of the research showed that the blood protein was significantly (P<0,05) affected by the protected protein supplementation level in complete feed wafer based on agroindustrial by-product. Whereas, blood urea was not significantly (P>0,05) affected by the protected protein supplementation level in complete feed wafer based on agroindustrial by-product. Level of 4% was the good suplementation in complete feed wafer based on agroindustrial by-product was seen of  blood protein and urea. Abstract

Utilization of waste of agricultural and plantation industry as an alternative feed source of fiber had a positive effect in supporting the development of animal husbandry. The objective of this research is to examine degradability of feed materials is seen from the soluble fraction of feed (a), potential degradable fraction of feed (b), the rate of degradation of b fraction (c value) and the degradation theory (DT) using method in sacco. Feeding materials which had been evaluated are peanut leather, coffee leather, oil cake, bagase and elephant grass. Experimental design used in this research is Completely Randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The results degradability of dry matter, organic matter and NDF showed significant effect (p<0,05) fraction a, b, c value and DT between the feed material. Feed materials of degradability affected by contents of nutrien and quality of fiber components. The waste of agricultural and plantation industry have degradability which lower than elephant grass.Key words: degradability, dry matter, organic matter, NDF, industrial waste.ABSTRAK Pemanfaatan limbah industri pertanian dan perkebunan sebagai pakan alternatif sumber serat memberikan pengaruh positif dalam menunjang perkembangan peternakan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji degradabilitas bahan pakan yang dilihat dari fraksi pakan mudah larut (a), fraksi pakan potensial terdegradasi (b), laju degradasi fraksi b nilai (c) dan degradasi teori (DT) secara in sacco. Bahan pakan yang diujikan yaitu kulit kacang tanah, kulit buah kopi, bungkil sawit, bagase dan rumput gajah. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian degradabilitas BK, BO dan NDF menunjukkan pengaruh nyata (p<0,05) pada fraksi a, b, nilai c dan DT antar bahan pakan. Kandungan nutrien dan kualitas komponen serat berpengaruh terhadap degradabilitas. Limbah industri pertanian dan perkebunan mempunyai degradabilitas lebih rendah dari rumput gajah.Kata kunci : Degradabilitas, bahan kering, bahan organik, NDF, limbah industri.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh rasio energi-proteincomplete feed berbasis limbah perkebunan kelapa sawit terhadap kecernaan bahan kering (KcBK), kecernaan bahan organik (KcBO) dan kecernaan serat kasar (KcSK) secara in vitro. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan yaitu T1 (rasio energi-protein 5; TDN 60% dan PK 12%), T2 (rasio energi-protein 5,25; TDN 63% dan PK 12%) dan T3 (rasio energi-protein 5,5; TDN 66% dan PK 12%). Data diolah dengan analisis ragam (ANOVA), jika menunjukkan pengaruh nyata (p<0,05) maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwarasio energi-proteincomplete feed berbasis limbah perkebunan kelapa sawit berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) meningkatkan KcBK, KcBO dan KcSK. Nilai KcBK T1 (51,22%) berbeda nyata(p<0,05) lebih rendah daripada T2 (53,97%) dan T3 (55,03%), namun T2 tidak berbeda nyata (p>0,05) dengan T3.  Nilai KcBO T1 (50,09%) berbeda nyata (p<0,05) lebih rendah daripada T2 (53,03%) dan T3 (54,24%), namun T2 tidak berbeda nyata (p>0,05) dengan T3 . Semakin tinggi rasio energi-protein complete feed berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) meningkatkan KcSK. Kesimpulanpenelitian ini adalahcomplete feedberbasis limbah perkebunan kelapa sawit dengan rasio energi-protein 5,5 atau mengandung TDN 66 dan PK 12% menghasilkan kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik dan serat kasar terbaik. Kata kunci : complete feed, limbah perkebunan kelapa sawit, kecernaan in vitro. ABSTRACT Thepurposeof this research was to determine the influence of energy-protein ratio of complete feed palm oil waste based to in-vitro digestibility of dry matter, organic matter and crude fiber. If the results of data was significant, it would be continued with Duncan test. T1 (energy-protein ratio 5; TDN 60% and CP 12%), T2 (energy-protein ratio 5,25; TDN 63% and CP 12%) and T3 (energy-protein ratio 5,5; TDN 66% and CP 12%). The results showed that the energy-protein ratio of complete feed palm oil waste based significantly affected (p<0,05) increase dry matter, organic matter and crude fiber digestibility. The dry matter digestibility of T1 (51,22%) significantly different (p<0,05) lower than T2 (53,97%) and T3 (55,03%), but T2 did not significant (p>0,05) with T3. The organic matter digestibiity of T1 (50,09%) significantly different (p<0,05) lower than T2 (53,03%) and T3 (54,24%), but T2 did not significant (p>0,05) with T3. The higher energy-protein ratio significantly affected (p<0,05) increase the crude fiber digestibility.  The conclusion was that the complete feed palm oil waste based with 5,5 energy-protein ratio or its contained 66%TDN and 12% CP had the best digestibility.                                                 Key notes : complete feed; palm oil waste; in vitro digestibility.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh tingkat suplementasi protein yang diproteksi dalam pakan berbasis jerami padi amoniasi terhadap fermentabilitas pakan secara in vitro. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial 2 x 5 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama, jerami padi tanpa amoniasi (J0) dan jerami padi dengan perlakuan amoniasi (J1). Faktor kedua 5 level suplementasi protein diproteksi 0% (P0), 5% (P1), 10% (P2), 15% (P3), dan 20% (P4). Data hasil penelitian diuji dengan ANOVA taraf 5%, apabila terdapat pengaruh perlakuan (p<0,05) dilanjutkan uji wilayah Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi (p<0,05) antara perlakuan amoniasi dan suplementasi protein diproteksi dalam meningkatkan produksi NH3 dan produksi protein total, sedangkan terhadap konsentrasi VFA dan degBO tidak terdapat interaksi (p>0,05). Rerata konsentrasi VFA 81,33 – 151,67 mM, rerata produksi NH3 8,19 – 14,65mg/dl, rerata produksi protein total 173,11 – 237 mg/g, rerata degBK 41,59 – 61,03 %, dan rerata degBO 45,81 – 67,48 %. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah perlakuan amoniasi pada jerami padi dan perlakuan pemberian level suplementasi protein diproteksi mampu berinteraksi dalam meningkatkan produksi NH3 dan produksi protein total pakan. Kata kunci : jerami padi; amoniasi; protein diproteksi; fermentabilitas; in vitroABSTRACTThe research aimed to examine in vitro ruminal fermentability of ammoniated rice straw based feed with supplementation of protected protein. This research used completely randomized design with pattern of  factorial 2 x 5 and three replications. The first factor was rice straw without ammoniation (J0) and rice straw ammoniated (J1). The second factor was supplementation of tannin protected protein at 0% (P0), 5% (P1), 10% (P2), 15% (P3), and 20% (P4) in feed. Collected data were statistically tested by analysis of variance with factorial pattern in completly randomized design, followed by Duncan's multiple range test. The result showed, interactive effect of ammoniation treatment and supplementation protected protein was able to increase NH3 production dan total protein production. The average of parameters were VFA concentration : 81.33–151.67 mM; NH3 production :8.19 – 14.65mg/dl; total protein production: 173.11–237 mg/g; and organik matter degradability: 45.81–67.48 %. Conclusion of this research was ammoniation treatment on rice straw and supplementation of tannin protected protein treatment were able to interact to increase NH3 production and total protein production in feed.   Key word : rice straw; ammoniation; protected protein; fermentability; in vitro

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh rasio energi protein terbaik dalam ransum berbasis limbah perkebunan sawit terhadap undegraded protein (UDP) dan kecernaan protein secara in vitro. Penelitian dilakukan secara in vitro dengan rancangan acak legkap 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian adalah T1 (TDN (total digestible nutrient) 60%, PK (protein kasar) 12%), T2 (TDN 63%, PK 12%), dan T3 (TDN 66%, PK 12%). Data hasil penelitian diuji dengan ANOVA taraf 5%, apabila terdapat pengaruh perlakuan (p<0,05) dilanjutkan uji wilayah Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rasio energi-protein pakan lengkap berbasis limbah sawit berpengaruh nyata meningkatkan UDP (p<0,05) tetapi kecernaan protein tidak berpengaruh. Rata-rata persentase UDP pada T1, T2, dan T3 berturut-turut adalah 30,06; 31,09 dan 32,18% sedangkan persentase kecernaan protein 65,31: 66,31 dan 67,59%. Simpulan penelitian adalah pakan lengkap berbasis limbah perkebunan sawit dengan rasio energy-protein 5,5(PK 12%, TDN 66%) menghasilkan UDP terbaik dan meghasilkan kualitas kecernaan protein terbaik.Kata kunci : pakan lengkap; limbah perkebunan sawit; UDP; kecernaan protein; in vitro ABSTRACT            The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of energy-protein ratio of complete feed made from palm oil waste towards undegraded dietary protein and digestible protein in vitro. The average value of UDP on T1, T2 and T3 were 30,06; 31,09 and 32,18%, respectively, whereas, the digestible protein were 65,31: 66,31 and 67,59%, respectively. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan pakan sumberprotein terproteksi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ternak dilihat daripengukuran konsentrasi amonia (NH3), Undegraded Dietary Protein (UDP) danProtein Total. Penelitian dilakukan secara in vitro dengan rancangan acaklengkap 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian adalah T0 = bungkil bijijarak + aras tanin 0%, T1 = bungkil biji jarak + aras tanin 0,25%, T2 = bungkilbiji jarak + aras tanin 0,50% dan T3 = bungkil biji jarak + aras tanin 0,75%. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa bungkil biji jarak yang diproteksi denganpeningkatan aras tanin dapat menurunkan konsentrasi NH3 dan meningkatkanpersentase UDP (P<0,05) serta meningkatkan produksi protein total (P>0,05).Rata-rata konsentrasi NH3, persentase UDP dan produksi protein total pada T0,T1, T2, T3 berturut-turut adalah 5,87 mM, 38,20 %, 211,57 mg/g, 5,49 mM, 40,70%, 225,92 mg/g, 5,40 mM, 40,84 %, 277,73 mg/g, 4,90 mM, 42,20 %, 300,32mg/g.Kata kunci : bungkil biji jarak, tanin, NH3, UDP, protein total

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine in sacco degradability of dry matter, organic matter and crude fiber in ration with different levels of bagasse and determine the best level of bagasse in ruminant ration from degradability. The research is expected to give information about the best level of bagasse as a source of crude fiber in the complete feed views of degradability of dry matter, organic matter and crude fiber. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Animal Feed Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture Diponegoro University Semarang from October 2011 to February 2012.The research was conducted by using a three Jawa Randu Goat which fistulated on rumen as replication. The treatment are T1 = ration level of 25% bagasse, T2 = bagasse rations with 30% level, T3 = ration with the level of 35% bagasse and T4 = bagasse rations with 40% level. Ration degradability measured by using in Sacco method. The variables measured were percent loss of DM, OM and CF to calculate the fraction of a, b, c and degradation theory (DT) dry matter, organic matter and crude fiber. To calculate the degradation of feed at a time "t" (DT) used the exponential equation P = a + b (1 – exp-ct). Fraction of the value of a, b, c and DT were then analyzed statistically based on completely randomized design (CRD) if there is a treatment effect, followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) for difference between means.The analysis of variance showed that there was significant effect (P <0.05) between the fraction of easily degradable (a) DM, OM and CF, and degradation theory (DT) DM, OM and CF, therefore the potentially degradable fraction (b) DM, OM and CF, the degradation rate of potentially degradable fraction (c) DM, OM and CF showed no real difference.Keywords: degradability, dry matter, organic matter, crude fiber

Abstract

The objective of the research was to know the effect of different combination level of starter commercial and time of periode fermentation on production VFA and NH3 Rumen Content In vitro to increase quality of corn cob, research was conducted in Technology Animal Nutrition Department and Feed Animal Nutrition Department, Animal Science Faculty of Diponegoro University. Level of starter commercial was 0, 1 and 2 % BK, and time periode of fermentation was 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 week. Data collection consist of production VFA and NH3. Data then was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) based on the completely randomized design. To compare among treatment means using Duncan Multiple Range Test. Result of this research showed that not be found interaction of combination level starter commercial and time of periode fermentation to product VFA, whereas on production NH3 showed interaction combination level starter commercial and time of periode fermentation on corn cob. The utilization of added starter commercial 2% and 4 week time of period showing the best production VFA and NH3 on corn cob amonniated by fermentation.ABSTRAK Penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji pengaruh kombinasi perlakuan aras starter mikrobia dan lama peram pada peningkatan kualitas tongkol jagung, melalui perlakuan amoniasi fermentasi dilihat dari produksi VFA dan NH3 secara in vitro telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknologi Makanan Ternak dan Laboratorium Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Diponegoro. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah penambahan aras starter komersial (0, 1 dan 2% terhadap BK) dengan lama peram (0, 1, 2, 3 dan 4 minggu). Parameter yang diamati meliputi produksi VFA dan NH3. Data dianalisis ragam dengan Rancangan Acak lengkap Pola Faktorial. Perbedaan antar perlakuan diuji dengan uji wilayah ganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi pada kombinasi perlakuan aras starter dan lama pemeraman terhadap produksi VFA, sedangkan pada produksi NH3 terdapat interaksi pada kombinasi perlakuan aras starter dan lama pemeraman terhadap tongkol jagung. Simpulan penelitian adalah produksi VFA dan NH3 pada tongkol jagung teramoniasi fermentasi meningkat pada aras starter komersial 2% dengan lama peram empat minggu.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meghasilkan bahan pakan sumber protein terproteksi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ternak dilihat dari pengukuran amonia (NH3), Rumen Undegraded Dietary Protein (RUDP) dan Protein Total. Penelitian dilakukan secara in vitro dengan rancangan acak lengkap 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian adalah T0 (tepung kedelai tanpa tanin), T1 (tepung kedelai+tanin 0,25%), T2 (tepung kedelai+tanin 0,5%), T3 (tepung kedelai+tanin 0,75%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung kedelai yang diproteksi tanin daun bakau dengan level 0,25%, 0,5%, dan 0,75% dapat menurunkan konsentrasi amonia (NH3) dan meningkatkan Rumen Undegraded Dietary Protein (RUDP) serta produksi protein total (P<0,05). Rataan konsentrasi NH3, persentase RUDP dan produksi protein total pada T0, T1, T2, T3 berturut-turut adalah (7,78 mM, 15,93 %, 339,68 mg/g), (7,24 mM, 16,33%, 402,76 mg/g), (6,61 mM, 14,35%, 20,98 mg/g), (6,37 mM, 20,98%, 507,01 mg/g).Kata kunci : tepung kedelai, daun bakau, tanin, NH3, RUDP, protein total
