Abstract

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health issue in Indonesia, with a national prevalence of 21.6 percent. Probolinggo Regency in East Java also records a high prevalence rate, reaching 17.3 percent. The main factors contributing to stunting are limited access to health services and nutrition. The Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) plays a crucial role in prevention efforts but faces challenges in management and cadre skills, particularly in data recording and nutritional status measurement. Jabung Sisir Village in Probolinggo Regency was selected as the community partner for empowerment through a program of Posyandu digitalization and cadre capacity building. The aim of this activity is to improve cadre literacy on stunting and to provide an effective digital reporting system to support prevention and control efforts. The implementation method consisted of cadre training on stunting literacy, anthropometric techniques, effective communication, and the use of a web- and Android-based Posyandu Information System. The program was followed by cadre mentoring as well as evaluation through pre-tests, post-tests, and periodic monitoring. The results showed an increase in cadre knowledge, anthropometric measurement skills, and the ability to use digital systems for data recording and reporting. These findings highlight that Posyandu digitalization can strengthen cadre capacity in stunting prevention while serving as an innovative model for enhancing community-based health services.

Abstract

A radial distribution electrical network at a certain distance will have a large voltage loss due to conductive losses, especially at the endpoint. The tip voltage is determined by the distance of the distribution and the amount of load. The form of configuration also affects the amount of power loss and voltage loss. So that a good configuration is needed in order to obtain good efficiency. Reconfiguration of the distribution network is used to reset the network configuration form by opening and closing switches on the distribution network. Reconfiguration is expected to reduce power losses and improve distribution system reliability. Many feeders and buses on the network if calculated manually will be difficult and require a very long time. So it is necessary to solve problems using program assistance. In this case, use Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm based on the behavior of a herd of insects, such as ants, termites, bees, or birds. BPSO is a development of the PSO algorithm designed to solve the optimization problem in a discrete combination, where the particle takes the value of binary vectors with length n and speed which is defined as the probability of bits to reach value 1. The results show a significant reduction in losses.

Abstract

A sharp bend is a bend that has an acute angle with the level of difficulty when the vehicle crosses the road. In sharp turns frequent vehicle accidents occur. Accidents are caused by vehicles traveling at high speeds when they will cross the bend in the road. In addition, the driver also wants to overtake the vehicle when going through the bend. By making this warning system, it is expected to reduce accidents on the road bends. This tool can detect the presence of a vehicle and will give a warning in the form of an indicator light that is controlled by the Arduino UNO microcontroller using an Ultrasonic sensor and will light up if within 10 m before crossing the road bend there is a vehicle that will pass

Abstract

The Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Probolinggo Regency faces challenges in managing blood supplies, particularly for Packed Red Cells (PRC), due to unpredictable fluctuations in demand. The imbalance between supply and demand often leads to shortages or surpluses, affecting the quality of healthcare services. This study aims to predict the demand for PRC to support more efficient inventory management. The method employed is Support Vector Regression (SVR), an approach within the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm that is effective for regression and prediction tasks. Historical blood demand data was used to train the model. The results indicate that SVR provides sufficiently accurate predictions for all blood types, with the best performance achieved for blood type B, yielding a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 0.0589 and a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 7.11%. In conclusion, the SVR method can be effectively applied to forecast PRC demand and has the potential to support decision-making in blood stock management at the UTD PMI of Probolinggo Regency.

Abstract

Part-of-Speech Tagging (POS tagging) is the process of determining word classes in a text that is important in natural language processing. In Javanese, POS tagging is still a challenge due to limited linguistic resources and the complexity of the language. With the development of deep learning technology, the BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) fine-tuning method has been applied to classify word classes in Javanese, which is a language with limited resources. The javanese-bert-small model was trained using the UD_Javanese-CSUI dataset, and evaluated using precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy metrics. The results showed that the model achieved good performance with an accuracy of 88,87%, and showed stability during training without significant overfitting. These findings indicate that the BERT-based approach is effective in handling word class ambiguity in Javanese and can be a stepping stone for further development in NLP systems for regional languages.
