Abstract

Moh. Yusuf Asri, 2022. The Effect of Embung (Water Storage) Development on Farmers' Harvests in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency. Thesis, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. Supervised by Dalilul Falihin and Syarifah Balkis. The research was carried out with the following objectives: 1) To find out the description of the construction of a reservoir (water reservoir) in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency. 2) To find out the description of farmers' harvests in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency and 3) To find out whether there is any effect of the construction of a reservoir (water reservoir) on farmers' harvests in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The variables of this study consisted of the construction of reservoirs (water reservoirs) (variable X) and the yield of petahi (variable Y) data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires/questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential analysis. Based on the research, it is known that: 1) The construction of a reservoir (water reservoir) in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency is included in the "Very Good" category in terms of the indicators of the benefits of the development of the reservoir in environmental aspects, economic aspects, and social aspects of farmers in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District. Barru District. 2) The harvest in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency is classified as "Good" in terms of market quality, cooking quality, and taste quality and 3) There is a positive and significant influence as evidenced by research and the correlation results are 0.655 which is in "Strong" category. Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, that is, there is an effect of the construction of a reservoir (water reservoir) on farmers' harvests in Pacekke Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency

Abstract

Abstrak. Banjir merupakan bencana yang paling sering terjadi di Indonesia. Setiap musim hujan tiba, bencana banjir akan terjadi di daerah-daerah langganan banjir. Kabupaten Soppeng merupakan daerah yang selalu mengalami banjir bandang setiap tahunnya. Masyarakat telah melakukan berbagai tanggapan dan strategi adaptasi dalam upaya menghadapi risiko banjir masa depan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tanggapan masyarakat dan strategi adaptasi dalam menghadapi bencana banjir bandang di Kabupaten Soppeng. Metode dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan pengamatan di daerah kawasan banjir. Partisipasi masyarakat berasal dari penelitian induktif sosial yang menghasilkan hasil deskriptif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya koordinasi dan kerja yang tidak sinkron antara pemangku kepentingan merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dalam menyebabkan kerentanan yang lebih tinggi. Masyarakat mengungkapkan persepsi tentang pentingnya peran pemangku kepentingan selama respon banjir. Masalah yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat muncul karena pekerjaan yang tidak sinkron antara pemangku kepentingan, termasuk proses evakuasi yang tidak terkoordinasi, distribusi bantuan yang tidak merata, dan kemiskinan. penanganan pengungsi. Terbukti juga dari wawancara mendalam bahwa pemangku kepentingan tingkat tinggi, misalnya pemerintah daerah, dianggap kurang berperan aktif. Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Respon Masyarakat, Bencana Banjir

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas staf Kelurahan Mancani melalui implementasi teknologi tepat guna. Teknologi tepat guna dipilih untuk memperkuat kemampuan staf dalam mengoptimalkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Pelatihan ini mencakup berbagai aspek teknologi yang relevan dengan tugas dan fungsi sehari-hari staf kelurahan, termasuk pengelolaan data, sistem informasi, dan aplikasi administrasi publik. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam beberapa sesi yang meliputi teori dan praktek langsung dengan bimbingan dari para ahli teknologi. Metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan partisipatif diterapkan untuk memastikan pemahaman yang mendalam dan kemampuan aplikasi teknologi dalam konteks kerja nyata. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan kompetensi staf dalam menggunakan teknologi tepat guna, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan publik di Kelurahan Mancani.Pelatihan ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi kelurahan lain dalam mengadopsi teknologi untuk mendukung tugas-tugas administratif dan pelayanan masyarakat, serta meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya manusia di tingkat lokal. Dengan demikian, implementasi teknologi tepat guna menjadi langkah strategis dalam pengembangan kapasitas kelembagaan dan peningkatan kualitas layanan publik.

Abstract

The Role of Waste Bank in Increasing Community Income in Untia Village. This research aims to find out: 1) To find out how the role of Lepa-lepa Waste Bank in increasing community income in Untia Village 2) To find out the factors that support and inhibit the Lepa-lepa Waste Bank in increasing community income in Untia Village. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) Lepa-lepa Waste Bank located in Untia Village has made a significant contribution in increasing community income. Through waste saving activities, people involved in the waste bank program earn additional income. The results of the income earned by the community are then utilized for the daily needs of the community. This shows that the Waste Bank program has begun to encourage the community to become more economically independent. Therefore, the Lepa-lepa Waste Bank through saving and sorting waste according to its type contributes to increasing community income in untia village. 2) There are factors that support and inhibit the Lepa-lepa Waste Bank in increasing community income in Untia village. Supporting factors are; member involvement, facilities and infrastructure, community involvement, and cooperation with other parties. While the inhibiting factors include customer indiscipline, low community mindset, and lack of interest   from young people.
