Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode problem based learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas X IPS Unggulan  tahun 2018-2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).  Variabel tindakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode problem based learning sedangkan variabel harapannya adalah hasil belajar biologi.  Subyek  dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS Unggulan MAN 2 Mataram berjumlah 37 orang. Penelitian berlangsung 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  lembar observasi dan lembar tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I  kegiatan  pembelajaran problem based learning yang dilakukan guru memperoleh skor 12 kategori cukup baik, aktivitas siswa kategori cukup aktif sedangkan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 78,3% kategori belum memenuhi KKM. Pada siklus ke II skor kegiatan  guru memperoleh skor 17  kategori baik, aktivitas siswa memperoleh skor 13 kategori aktif dan ketuntasan klasikal 86%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas X IPS Unggulan MAN 2 Mataram tahun pelajaran 2018-2019.

Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan  salah satu  indikator keberhasilan dalam proses pembelajaran. Mata pelajaran IPA dipelajari sejak tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Mata pelajarn IPA merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diujian nasionalkan. Oleh karena itu siswa diharapkan memiliki hasil belajar IPA yang baik agar dapat lulus dalam ujian nasional. Sikap belajar menjadi bagian dari faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap belajar IPA siswa kaitannya dengan hasil belajar IPA. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Al Ma’arif Praya Timur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di MTs Al Ma’arif Praya Timur Data dikumpulkan dengan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada kaitan yang signifikan antara sikap belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA siswa M.Ts. Al Ma’arif Praya Timur. Signifikansi positif ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi sikap belajar terhadap IPA semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar IPA yang diraihnya.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the species richness of Hexapoda: Coleoptera in Suranadi Nature Recreation Park (NRP), Lombok Island, Indonesia. It is an exploratory, descriptive study with a qualitative method. Sample collection was carried out during May – July 2019 in three different habitats consisting of waterways along with the middle and edges of the forest. Sample collection was conducted using the pitfall trap method. The samples were identified at Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram to obtain the species richness data. It was revealed that there were 11 species from 8 families of the Order Coleoptera. The species are Agonum micans, Trycorinus rudepunctatus, Euspilotus assimilis, Paracymus subcupreus, Phanaeus vindex, Myrmex sp., Dinopelma leptaleum, Oxyporus maxillosus, Oxylobus maridionalis, Tachys blandus and Platydema violacea.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan monopoli dan mengetahui kelayakan media permainan monopoli sebagai media pembelajaran peserta didik kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu penelitian dan R&D (Reseacrh and Development) dengan dengan desain model pengembangan ADDIE. Langkah – langkah pengembangan dengan model tersebut meliputi tahapan Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), Evaluation (evaluasi). Setelah melalui langkah – langkah penelitian, peneliti melakukan analisis terhadap data – data yang didapatkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis permainan monopoli layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, terlihat dari hasil validasi media memperoleh persentase 93%, validasi materi memperoleh persentase 94% dan respon peserta didik dalam kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase sebesar 92%.

Abstract

The house toad (Duttaphrynus melanostictus) is a highly adaptable amphibian species, and is commonly found in urban areas. On Lombok Island, this species has the highest abundance in non-forest habitat types. In their habit, amphibians function as predators of various types of insects and various types of invertebrates. There are several research reports on prey items from Duttaphrynus melanostictus, but information regarding its role as control of harmful insects is still limited, especially on the island of Lombok. On the other hand, science learning aims to introduce the surrounding environment to students. Therefore, integrating the roles of species commonly found in these settlements is a necessity. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential of Duttaphrynus melanostictus as a pest control insect, and its urgency in science learning, especially in elementary schools. The study was conducted using gastric surgery analysis method. The frog's stomach was taken continuously until the data was saturated, i.e. the data obtained were the same as the previous surgeries. The results showed that Duttaphrynus melanostictus preyed on 14 types of insects. There are 12 species (85.71%) of which are harmful insects. If classified, 9 species (75%) are insect pests, and 3 species (25%) are disease vectors. Information on the role of this species can be substituted for science lessons in elementary school. The appropriate topics are (1) the importance of balancing and preserving natural resources in the environment, and (2) the relationship between ecosystem components and food webs in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the SAVI learning model on the science learning outcomes of various styles of materials on the fourth-grade elementary students at SDN 1 Sandik, Lombok, Indonesia. The type of research used is quasi-experiment design type nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The total number of samples is 60 students. The data analysis in this study used SPSS version 21.0 for windows. The statistical test in this study used the t-test and the normalized gain test. Based on the results, the average value of the experimental class changed, namely from the pre-test value of 56.40 and the post-test value of 71.57. The results of statistical calculation data analysis using the t-test (paired-sample t-test) obtained 6.931 > 2.045. A normalized gain test is done to find out how significant the effect is. The results of the normalized gain test that the researcher got were 0.3 by the normalized gain score category included in the medium category. This study shows an effect of the SAVI learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Sandik.
