Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media gambar edukasi bagi anak dalam mengantisipasi tindak kekerasan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, sedangkan data dianalisis dengan secara kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian awal menunjukkan menunjukkan bahwa pertama, kekerasan yang dialami anak meliputi kekerasan fisik berupa cubitan dan kekerasan verbal berupa ejekan. Kedua, pelaku kekerasan adalah teman di sekolah, saudara kandung, orang tua (ibu), serta teman bermain di sekitar rumah. Ketiga, perasaan yang dominan muncul pada anak adalah perasaan jengkel atau sebel, marah, dan adanya keinginan untuk membalas. Keempat, perilaku yang banyak dilakukan anak ketika mendapatkan kekerasan adalah membalas, diam, dan mengadu pada orang dewasa. Kelima, anak masih mendapatkan sedikit informasi mengenai antisipasi diri terhadap perilaku kekerasan, sumber informasi terbatas pada TV, surat kabar, ceramah guru, serta masih kurangnya variasi strategi antisipasi diri terhadap perilaku kekerasan. Berdasarkan penelitian awal ini, dikembangkan disain pembelajaran dan desain produk media gambar sebagai draf awal. Setelah divalidasi, materi dan media gambar hasil pengembangan dapat digunakan untuk melakukan edukasi pada anak guna mengantisipasi perilaku kekerasan

Abstract

Academic burnout in elementary school students is very important to note because in this elementary school all academic experience will be formed. Failure to experience education in elementary schools properly will have a wide and disparate impact on the lives of students. This study aims to reduce the academic burnout experienced by elementary school students. For this reason, collaborative action research is conducted between teachers and researchers. Collaborative research, since planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating, as well as reflection is carried out jointly between teachers and researchers. The study subjects were five low-grade students who showed symptoms of experiencing academic burnout. Application of group activities as actions in the form of three games for students, namely picture puzzles, serialized stories, and throwing balls. Observation and interview as the main technique in collecting data. Qualitative analysis is used to analyze the process and results of actions. The results showed that the application of group activities was effective in reducing the academic burnout of five research subjects. All students showed positive changes in behavior, no longer showing symptoms of emotional fatigue, depersonalization, and feelings of inferiority or inadequacy. Research implications and recommendations are discussed.

Abstract

The Korean wave or hallyu has evolved into a transnational phenomenon with global significance with the boy group named BTS being one of the leading representations in this wave of Korean cultural spread. Taking advantage of BTS's popularity as a public figure who has a significant social influence in shaping public opinion and behavior, BTS initiated the Love Myself campaign with UNICEF to spread positive messages, build confidence, respect for others, and end violence. This study aims to obtain a specific picture of the level of confidence as an influence of the Love Myself campaign conducted by BTS and UNICEF. The approach used in this study was a quantitative approach with a survey research design. Sampling in this study was carried out using a saturated sampling technique as the population was relatively small with 62 people . The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents felt that the Love Myself campaign had a positive impact on their lives. Based on quantitative data, the results were showed that in general the majority of respondents were in the medium category.The aspect of a positive outlook on self in the majority of respondents were in the high category. This explained that the "Love Myself" campaign has succeeded in giving them confidence in their abilities, decisions, and a positive outlook on themselves. The study recommend to navigate the potential negative impact of the campaign from other perspective such as parents and teachers.
