Abstract

The Korean wave or hallyu has evolved into a transnational phenomenon with global significance with the boy group named BTS being one of the leading representations in this wave of Korean cultural spread. Taking advantage of BTS's popularity as a public figure who has a significant social influence in shaping public opinion and behavior, BTS initiated the Love Myself campaign with UNICEF to spread positive messages, build confidence, respect for others, and end violence. This study aims to obtain a specific picture of the level of confidence as an influence of the Love Myself campaign conducted by BTS and UNICEF. The approach used in this study was a quantitative approach with a survey research design. Sampling in this study was carried out using a saturated sampling technique as the population was relatively small with 62 people . The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents felt that the Love Myself campaign had a positive impact on their lives. Based on quantitative data, the results were showed that in general the majority of respondents were in the medium category.The aspect of a positive outlook on self in the majority of respondents were in the high category. This explained that the "Love Myself" campaign has succeeded in giving them confidence in their abilities, decisions, and a positive outlook on themselves. The study recommend to navigate the potential negative impact of the campaign from other perspective such as parents and teachers.

Abstract

SMP Islam Terpadu Nailul Khoir menghadapi permasalahan dalam pengarsipan surat masuk dan keluar yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga prosesnya memakan waktu serta rentan terhadap kehilangan atau kerusakan data. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan sistem E-Arsip surat berbasis web menggunakan metode Rational Unified Process (RUP), dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, database MySQL, framework Laravel, dan teks editor Visual Studio Code, guna memastikan pengembangan yang iteratif dan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Studi literatur, observasi, serta wawancara dengan staf administrasi dilakukan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan sistem, diikuti dengan perancangan use case, diagram aktivitas, dan diagram kelas sebagai dasar implementasi sistem berbasis web yang user-friendly dan efisien. Pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa penerapan E-Arsip mampu mempercepat proses pengarsipan, mengurangi risiko kehilangan data, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pencarian dan pengelolaan surat, sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi institusi pendidikan lain dengan permasalahan serupa

Abstract

In the view of social professions such as counseling and psychotherapy, empathy plays an important role as a bridge to build an effective therapeutic relationship so that the counselor can understand the client's experience, a low level of empathy will clearly indicate a destructive nature of the relationship between the client and the counselor. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of classical guidance services in developing empathy for students of the guidance and counseling study program at Ma'soem University class of 2023. A quantitative method with a type of pre-experimental research of one group pre-test post-test design was used in this study, the population of 42 students with the use of saturated samples. The measuring tool used is the Empathy Scale for Prospective Counselor (ESPC) which was developed based on Segal's theory (2018). The results showed that the significance value of 0.875 and the Tcount value of -158 showed that there was no difference between the pre-test score and the post-test score, meaning that classical guidance services were not effective in developing empathy, Thus, in this study, H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected.
