Abstract

Student violence is still one of the problems faced by students, parents and school parties. The lack of openness from students and the limitations of parents and school parties in monitoring student activities resulted in violent acts and threats to students are difficult to avoid. To solve these problems, an application system is needed to make students connect with their respective parents and school through their personal smartphones, so they are expected to Reduce the level of violence, especially among students. The application system will be designed to be mobile-based and the design stage will use the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method. A mobile-based application system that will be designed to utilize the panic button feature to provide notification alerts from students to parents and school parties. The resulting location of the notification alert can be monitored directly on the map (maps) that is available precisely using GPS (Global Positioning System).

Abstract

The goal of this research is to carry out and understand the evaluation of the success rate on SAP Business One, and the results of the evaluation are developed into the configuration and customization activities of the Odoo ver 15.0 open-source ERP system, because they do not have access rights to perform customization in the SAP Business One system. As a result, Odoo is one of the open-source ERP systems that can accommodate research recommendations and outcomes. The goal of this research is to determine the issues that arise throughout the company's use of the SAP Business One system. It is then anticipated to be a solution to company difficulties and to suit the firm's needs.

Abstract

Integrating technology and industries has opened doors to new possibilities, leading to innovative solutions that reshape traditional practices. The water tank industry is an example that has witnessed significant technological influence as companies seek to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and enhance customer interactions. This article focuses on PT Sanggabuana Berjaya Indonesia (SBI), a company operating in the water tank industry in Indonesia. It discusses challenges related to conventional reporting methods for marketing visits and route determination for their marketing team. Previous studies in similar contexts have successfully addressed similar issues using technology, including GPS-based monitoring for location tracking and the development of mobile applications using the Extreme Programming (XP) model. Considering the relevant literature and interview results with SBI's sales manager, an Android-based monitoring application is proposed as a potential solution. The design process follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Extreme Programming (XP) model, covering planning, design, coding, and testing stages. Due to time and resource constraints, further stages of integration, delivery, retrospective, and continuous improvement are left for future work. This research proves that applying the extreme programming model in designing industry applications is quite relevant. The results of the black box testing tested show that all the features in the application can be used as needed. Keywords: Android, Extreme Programming, Mobile-application, Salesman, Water-tank.

Abstract

Village administration services are essential in a village's progress and villagers' satisfaction with village officials. There are many villages in Indonesia where services still need to be more optimal because they have limitations in disseminating information, unclear procedures, and the status of service applications that cannot be monitored. Mobile-based applications can optimize village administration services, which can bridge between villagers and village officials. From the results of several previous studies, the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model is relevant to be applied in designing Android-based village service applications with the Flutter framework. The SHA-512 algorithm is implemented to increase security by hashing passwords to strengthen database security in village service applications. The application produced in this research has been tested using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method, and it was concluded that this system is suitable for use by villagers and improves Cihuni village services.

Abstract

Wijaya Learning Center in Gading Serpong faced challenges with low course participation due to an inefficient registration system, and to overcome these challenges, a UI analysis and design were conducted, leading to the development of a mobile application. This application allows clients to easily access class information, register online, and make payments. The backend, designed for the owner, supports schedule checks, transaction monitoring, and teacher management tasks. Class schedules, entered by the owner, remain consistent with changes permitted once a month. Clients can select their preferred schedule through the user interface. The study utilized Agile system development methodologies, known for their success in various fields. The research concludes that Agile methodologies significantly streamline the application design process, resulting in a functional mobile application that meets user requirements. Rigorous testing confirms the smooth usability of the application's four main functions, enhancing the private tutoring experience at Wijaya Learning Center.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology today has had a major impact on various aspects of human life. One sector that has greatly benefited from this progress is the business world and companies. Technology not only facilitates access to information and communication, but also significantly increases efficiency and effectiveness in various company operational processes. The institutional section of the DITJEN BIMAS Buddha prints Buddhist clergy cards using a desktop information system so that card applications take time and card printing requires a budget for PVC cards and ink every year. The Director General as the highest leader in the DITJEN BIMAS Buddha instructed to carry out effectiveness and efficiency in printing the Buddhist clergy cards. To overcome this problem, a web-based clergy e-card information system is proposed that can upload documents online and produce clergy cards in the form of files with the extension .pdf. With this card, applicants can upload files online and print cards independently so that the institutional section of the DITJEN BIMAS Buddha does not need to budget for printing the clergy cards. The implementation results show that the Buddhist clergy e-card information system is able to provide solutions in carrying out budget effectiveness and efficiency in the institutional section. From the survey results, it can be seen that 100% of respondents strongly agree that this system can increase effectiveness and make budget costs more efficient. The final part of the survey, 100% of the institutional section strongly agrees with the implementation of the clergy e-card information system.
