Abstract

Language competence of students when learning Arabic is very little noticed by Arabic language learners because it is very difficult for students to apply to what they learn from Arabic verbally and editorially. This study aims to describe the types of linguistic errors in Arabic writing and the reason for this error among Arabic learning in al-Muhsinin boarding schools. This study uses Henry Tarigan's qualitative error analysis method which consists of four stages: identifying errors, classification of errors, explaining errors, and evaluation of errors. This study also uses Miles and Huberman method in identifying the causes of the occurrence of error, namely: observation, interview, and documentation. The Documentation used in this studies is: student notebook in translate lessons (tarjamah), student notebook about holiday. The results of this study cover several aspects, namely grammatical errors, mistakes in choosing the right Arabic vocabulary, and cultural errors in writing Arabic in accordance with the grammar in Arabic. Linguistic errors obtained are as follows: students' mistakes determine nakirah and ma'rifah, ifrod, tas'niah and jamak, irob, kalimat azzaidah and kalimat an-naqisah. The errors in the selection of the right Arabic vocabulary are: 1) Using the word "Takrir ad-Dars" in the sentence repeating learning, 2) Using the word "Istagraqo" in time-consuming sentences. The causes of errors in writing Arabic are: students' ability to master Arabic vocabulary is very low, lack of governance in Arabic (Nahwu and Sharaf). From some of the results presented above can be an evaluation material for Arabic learners, especially in the learning of writing skills.

Abstract

This study explores the issue of misallocated zakat distribution at BAZNAS Cilegon, emphasizing the significance of trustworthiness (amanah) and accountability within the Islamic framework. Zakat serves not only as an act of worship but also as a socio-economic instrument designed to reduce inequality and improve community welfare. However, in practice, its distribution often encounters obstacles, particularly regarding transparency and the accuracy of targeting beneficiaries. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study analyzes scholarly journals, books, and official reports relevant to the topic. The findings reveal that weak beneficiary data collection, insufficient verification processes, and limited monitoring mechanisms contribute to zakat being distributed to unintended recipients. The suspected misuse of zakat funds at BAZNAS Cilegon highlights the urgent need for trustworthy and transparent governance supported by modern management systems. The implications of this study suggest that strengthening monitoring systems, implementing regular sharia-based audits, utilizing digital technology for data integration, and enforcing strict sanctions against negligent or dishonest amil are crucial steps to rebuild public trust. Ultimately, zakat can only achieve its dual function as a form of worship and as an instrument of social justice when managed with integrity, transparency, and professionalism.

Abstract

The integration of technology in Arabic language learning remains a significant challenge, requiring lecturers to possess advanced digital competencies. This study examines the influence of digital intelligence on the quality of Arabic language instruction at the Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University. Employing a quantitative ex post facto design with correlational analysis, the study involved 30 lecturers from the Arabic Language Education Study Program. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, supporting interviews, and document analysis. Results indicate a statistically significant and strong positive relationship between lecturers’ digital intelligence and the quality of learning, with a coefficient of determination of 74.3% (R² = 0.743). Linearity tests confirm a consistent linear relationship between the variables, and linear regression analysis reveals a correlation coefficient of R = 0.862, highlighting the robustness of this association. Lecturers with higher digital intelligence are better able to integrate technology into their teaching, enhance interactivity, and improve pedagogical effectiveness. These findings underscore the need for systematic and sustained initiatives to strengthen digital competencies among Arabic language lecturers. Beyond instrumental technology use, lecturers are encouraged to adopt innovative pedagogical strategies that leverage digital tools to optimize learning outcomes.
