Abstract

ABSTRACTAThis study applied associative quantitative approach and correlational study on parents guidance as the free variable and students discipline as the bound variable. The main objective of this study is to investigate the strengths or weaknesses of the correlation between parents guidance and students discipline. The subject of this study was students of VB and VC classes from Ciampea 01 State Elementary School Bogor Regency, Even Semester, 2016/2017 Study Year, which were 90 students in total and 47 respondents were taken as samples. The validation of parents guidance and students discipline instruments was done through Microsoft Excel program with Pearson Product Moment formula. Meanwhile, instruments reliability was counted through Alpha Cronbach formula. The studys hypothesis instrument validation was done through a simple regression analysis with ? = -25,02 + 1,35X which means that the functional correlation is significant. In this study, each ascension of parents guidance unit will increase 1,35 unit of students discipline. The simple correlation trial states that (rxy) is 0,97 which means that the correlation between two variables is very strong, while the coefficient of determaination (r2) is 0,95 which means that parents guidance gives 95% contribution to students discipline. The rest 5% is determined by other factors. Based on the results of study above, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between parents guidance and students discipline. Keywords : Parents Guidance and Students Discipline

Abstract

Abstract

Research was conducted to determine the factors that cause the occurrence of not good products in Packing Compound. The research was conducted in the Quality Control department of PT A&A. The analysis was conducted using the Six Sigma DMAIC method. Pareto diagram shows that there are four types of not good that need immediate improvement, namely not good torn, dirty, short mold and visual. Cause analysis was conducted using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). The analysis results prove that human factors, materials, machines and methods are the factors that cause the occurrence of not good products. Therefore, the company needs to increase the number of skilled workers, implement SOPs properly and conduct scheduled machine checks and maintenance. Keywords: Quality, Six Sigma, DMAIC

Abstract

Renal failure was a clinical condition characterized by irreversible decline in kidney function. Renal failure was divided into chronic and acute renal failure. Hypertension was a major factor triggering the occurrence of kidney disease and kidney failure. Data released by WHO shows that 50% of people with kidney failure, both acute and chronic, reach 50%. Based on Riskesdas, in 2018 the prevalence of chronic kidney failure in Indonesia was 0.38%. East Java Province was 0.3%, while the highest prevalence based on age was 65-74 years old at 8.23%. Effectiveness could provide information about how much a drug could achieve the desired effect in clinical practice. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of used captopril and valsartan in hypertensive patients with kidney failure at hospital. Methods: This research uses a numerical comparative analytical research type with an observational and cross-sectional design. The research was conducted at. Citra Husada Hospital in March-April 2023, using patient medical record data sources, and a sample of 64 patients. Data sources were analyzed using the Chi square test. Data is displayed in frequency and percentage form. Results: The results of this study showed that the average valued of blood pressure before administration of captopril was 183. 65 mmhg/99. The average value of blood pressure after administration of captopril was 171. 00 mmhg/91. 778 mmhg. The average value of blood pressure before administration of valsartan was 165. 87 mmhg/92. 81 mmhg. The average value of blood pressure after administration of valsartan was 151. 15 mmhg / 81. 09 mmhg. From the results of the studies, it was found that there was no difference between the comparison of the effectiveness of used captopril and valsartan in hypertensive patients with kidney failure at hospital. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study shows that there was no comparison of the effectiveness of used captopril and valsartan in hypertensive patients with kidney failure, both of which had the same effectiveness in lowering blood pressure

Abstract

In general, the problem of production and distribution in the paper supply chain is the integration of plansto minimize total costs. Delivery times are required to be fast, sometimes not fulfilled due to problems inthe production and distribution process. One of the problems with newspaper companies in Surakarta is theslow distribution process due to the determination of the wrong distribution channel. This article aims tosolve the problem of determining the route of a newspaper company in the city of Surakarta by comparingtwo alternative choices, where the first alternative uses two fleets and the second alternative uses threefleets. This research uses the Sweep Algorithm and the Nearest Neighbor method in order to minimizetime and cost and to determine the best delivery path. From the results of data processing, it was found thatthe best proposal was the first alternative, namely by using two fleets because the distance traveled wasshorter with a difference of 0.45 km and resulted in savings of Rp. 467,940.00 every month.
