Abstract

This research discussed a view of learning achievement, the use of jigsawtype cooperative learning in Islamic religion lesson. The background of this research was taken from the lowness of students’ learning achievement which is caused of lecturing and discussion method dominance in teaching presented by the teacher. Then, that problem is frequently happened. Thus, the researcher gave them a solution for that case by using jigsaw-type cooperative learning in learning process. By using jigsaw-type cooperative learning, students’ learning achievement was hopefully improved.The purpose of this research was to know whether the use of jigsaw-type cooperative learning could improve learning achievement of grade VII students in Islamic Religion lesson at SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. The kind of this research was a classroom action research which used qualitative method. The samples of this research were 31 students taken from class of VII-4. Test became the instrument of data collection for this research and analyzing the data was done by descriptive qualitative way. According to what the researcher done for this research, it was concluded that using jigsaw-type cooperative learning could improve the learning achievement of VII-4 students. This improvement could be found from the results of testing. The result of cycle I was 6619, cycle II was 7048, and cycle III was 8145. After all, all actions done from cycle I until cycle III showed improvements of learning achievement in Islamic Religion lesson.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran geoboard (papan berpaku) adalah media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika pokok bahasan bangun datar di MI/SD. Media ini merupakan media pembelajaran berupa papan peragaan yang telah dimodifikasi menjadi bentuk yang lebih menarik dan kreatif. Karena media ini dapat memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada siswa dalam belajar, maka media ini dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dan praktikalitas dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran geoboard (papan berpaku) di MIN 1 Padangsidimpuan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Penelitian dan Pengembangan). Objek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV-A yang terdiri dari 14 siswa perempuan dan 12 siswa laki-laki. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan yang signifikan tehadap aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan sudah divalidasi oleh validator dari 3 ahli yaitu ahli materi sebesar 84% (sangat valid), ahli media sebesar 86% (sangat valid), dan ahli bahasa sebesar 88% (sangat valid), hasil persentase keseluruhan validator ahli sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kemudian hasil angket respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran geoboard (papan berpaku) yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat praktis melalui lembar angket respon siswa secara keseluruhan sebesar 84%. Hasil yang didapatkan dari observasi aktivitas belajar siswa terdapat adanya peningkatan yang signifikan sebelum dengan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran geoboard (papan berpaku). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran geoboard (papan berpaku) yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa.

Abstract

Religious Guidance is an education system that is developed and encouraged or imbued with Islamic teachings and values. This means that religious guidance is the process of inculcating the values of Islamic education. Elderly women are a group of mothers who are aged 50 and over and live in the Nursing Home of the al-Yusufiyah Hutaholbung Foundation. This study aims to determine the religious life, style of guidance, and implications of religious guidance for elderly women at the al-Yusufiyah Hutabolbung Nursing Home. The research methodology used is qualitative research with anthropological and sociological approaches. The results of the study show that the lives of elderly women at the al-Yusufiyah Foundation Nursing Home are no different from the daily lives of housewives in the family and community. Beautiful conditions like their own homes which are designed in this orphanage make these elderly female mothers feel at home as in their own homes. by the foundation's management in order to achieve the goal of charity until the end of their lives

Abstract

Religious Moderation is one of the Strategic Programs of the Ministry of Religion which is reduced from the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN). The Religious Moderation Program was released by the Ministry of Religion to be implemented in all areas of life, including education. Moreover, one of the authorities of the Ministry of Religion is related to religious and religious education. This is the basis for grounding the idea of Religious Moderation in religious and religious education in formal and informal educational institutions. The application of the values of religious moderation is the main key to realizing them. This assumption is based on the empirical conditions of educators in Padangsidimpuan City. Based on this analytical study of educators, there is a need for a Manual for Strengthening Religious Moderation for educators. In addition, this book is needed especially for Islamic Religious Education teachers who are considered to be a solution in increasing the level of knowledge, understanding, and application of the values of religious moderation both in learning Islamic Religious Education and in the context of life in madrasas and Islamic boarding schools. While it is known that the area around Padangsidimpuan City is a mountainous area which is relatively difficult to access online sources of information, even though this book is provided in electronic or digital form. Therefore, not many educators know and can access this book.
