Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis media organic dan konsentrasi PPC bayfolan terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kayu manis (Cinnamomum burmannii).Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai 01September 2021 hingga 31 Desember2021.Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) polafaktorial yang terdiri 2 faktor dimana Faktor I yaitu jenis media organic sebagai berikut: M0 : tanah + pupuk kandang (1:1), M1 : tanah + arang sekam (1:1) dan M2 :tanah + pupuk kandang + Arang sekam (1:1:1), sedangkan faktor II yaitu konsentrasi PPC bayfolan yaitu  : P0 : tanpa ZPT alami, P1 : 2 cc/liter air,  P2: 4 cc/liter air , P3 : 6 cc/liter air. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman(cm), lingkar batang (cm), jumlah daun (helai), berat kering akar (cm) dan berat kering tajuk (g).Perlakuanjenis media berpengaruh nyata terhadap lingkar tanaman, jumlah daun (helai), berat kering akar dan berat kering tajuk (g) akan tetapi tidak berpengauh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman (cm). Perlakuan konsentrasi PPC berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman (cm), lingkar tanaman, jumlah daun (helai), berat kering akar dan berat kering tajuk. Perlakuanjenis media tanam dan konsentrasi PPC tidak menunjukkan adanya interaksi terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kayu manis dipolybag.Perlakuan terbaikMenggunakan jenis media campuran ultisol,  pupuk kandang dan arang sekam dan konsentrasi PPC bayfolan yaitu 4 cc/liter air (M2P2).

Abstract

Research on the effect of NPK fertilizer and fertilizer application through leaves on the growth and yield of red chili (Capsicum annum L) was carried out from October 2021–March 2022 on farmer lands in Tanah Grow Village, Tanah Grow District, Bungo Regency. With the aim of knowing the interaction between NPK fertilizer and fertilizer through leaves on the growth and yield of red chili plants. This experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design in the form of factorial with two factors and repeated 3 times. Factor A is the dose of NPK fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely: NI = 5 gr, N2 = 10 gr, N3 = 15 gr, N4 = 20 gr .Factor B is the provision of fertilizer through the leaves (Seprint), namely: PI = 8 cc/ltr, P2 = 10 cc/ltr, P3 = 12 cc/ltr, P4 = 14 cc/ltr, P5 = 16 cc/ltr. Based on the experiment, it can be concluded that there was an interaction between NPK fertilizer and Seprint leaf fertilizer on the yield of red chili plants, while there was no interaction with plant height, number of leaves and number of productive branches. The application of NPK fertilizer with a dose of N3 = 15 grams gave the best results on red chili crop yields. In the use of fertilizer through leaves (Seprint) the best concentration was 10 cc/liter, for plant height. Provision of NPK fertilizer and fertilizer through leaves (Seprint) had no significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves and the number of productive branches.

Abstract

Research on the Effect of Applying Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Plantain Waste on the Growth and Yield of Curly Chili (Capsicum annum L) Hybrid Trophy Varieties was carried out from January 1 2022 to May 1 2022. In the Community Agricultural Land in Sungai Keruh Village, Tebo Tengah District, it is located at an altitude of 121 m asl. With the aim to determine the effect of applying Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) from plantain waste and the best dose dosage on the growth and yield of curly chili (Capsicum annum L) trophy hybrid variety.              This experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of 5 treatments and 4 replications, with the following treatments: P0 (without applying liquid organic fertilizer), P1 (given POC (banana peel waste) at a dose of 400 ml/polybag), P2 (given POC (banana peel waste) at a dose of 500 ml/polybag), P3 (given POC (banana peel waste) at a dose of 600 ml/polybag) and P4 (given POC (banana peel waste) at a dose of 700 ml/polybag).  The above treatment was repeated 4 times (5 x 4 = 20 experimental units). Each experimental unit consisted of 3 plants so that 20 x 3 = 60 plants were obtained, all of the 3 plants per experimental unit were sampled.  The results and conclusions obtained are that the application of various doses of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) from plantain waste has a significant effect on Plant Height (cm), Stem Circumference (cm), Total Leaf Area, Total number of fruits per plant (fruit), and Fruit weight per plant (gr) curly chili (Capsicum annum L). The best treatment for the growth of curly chili (Capsicum annum L) and the yield of curly chili (Capsicum annum L) of the trophy hybrid variety was P3 with a dose of 600 ml/polybag

Abstract

This research aims to identify pests that attack oil palm plants (Elaeis guineensis jacq) PT. Jamika Raya and want to know the level of pests that dominate oil palm plantations and their level of diversity. This research will be carried out at PT. Jamika Raya palm oil unit, whose address is Sekar Mengkuang Hamlet, Limbur Lubuk Mengkuang District. This research is planned from May to June 2022. The tools used in this research are plastic bottles or cups for capturing samples, wood, digital camera, rope, knife, magnifying glass, millimeter block, cardboard loupe and insect determination key book. The research method used is descriptive purposive sample analysis research by means of a survey. Meanwhile, a survey is a method of collecting data from a number of individuals or units systematically and following scientific procedures. Sampling was taken using fishing techniques using fill traps and hand sorting techniques in the research area. Observation variables include: a. Identification b. Diversity index (H) (Shannon-Wiener) c. Uniformity Index d. Dominance index. The results of the identification of insect pests on oil palm plantations in Sekar Limbur Hamlet, Limbur District, PT. Jamika Raya, obtained 5 orders, consisting of 8 species with a total of 1209 insects, namely: Order: Lepidoptera, Fireworm, Bagworm, Hairy Caterpillar, Order Coleoptera: Horn beetles, Order Blattodea: Termites, Order Hymenoptera: Angry ants and Order Rodentia: Rats. The dominance value of insect pests in the dominant location is still low, ranging from 0.0002 – 0.144. The diversity and uniformity of insect pests in Afd. the number of 240 individuals, 120 and 100. The fewest species are horn beetles with a number of 5 individuals, 3, for afd O the species with the fewest are rats, namely 9. In the Afd.C research plot the diversity index value is 0.67 indicating that the H value ' 1 indicates that species diversity in a transect is small or low, while a uniformity index of 0.23 indicates that the distribution of individuals between species is even because the uniformity value obtained is close to 1, also for afd.D and afd,O.
