Pemilihan umum (pemilu) merupakan pesta demokrasi yang diselenggarakan sekali dalam lima tahun termasuk juga dalam hal ini pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada), memilih merupakan hak asasi yang mesti dilindungi sebagai hak dasar warga negara. Syarat untuk memilih dalam perkembangannya mengalami perluasan makna demi dapat menggunakan hak politik berupa memilih dan dipilih, pada awalnya syarat memilih menunjukkan surat undangan memilih, dengan putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi cukup menunjukkan identitas berupa Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP), timbul permasalahan ketika proses penerbitan KTP bermasalah, namun penggunaan KTP sebagai dasar identitas untuk memilih, maka terbitlah ketentuan penggunaan Surat Keterangan sebagai pengganti KTP yang belum selesai. Metode penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian yuridis sosiologis yang berlokasi di Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil Penelitian yaitu penggunaan surat keterangan sebagai pengganti KTP didapatkan jumlah yang cukup besar saat Pilkada Kota Pekanbaru tahun 2017 dan surat keterangan yang digunakan sebagai pengganti KTP diberikan tidak melampirkan foto sebagaimana yang terdapat didalam KTP yang berpotensi menimbulkan kecurangan dalam pelaksanaan Pilkada.

The election of the Regional Head of Pekanbaru in 2017 generally went smoothly, but at the beginning of the implementation of the Pilkada stage there was a nomination dispute between the regional head candidates who did not qualify with the Pekanbaru City General Election Commission (KPU). The nomination failure was the basis of the dispute over the nomination of the regional head, because there was a reason for disability in one of the prospective candidates which resulted in the failure of the candidate to become the regional head candidate for the Pekanbaru City Election in 2017. This research is sociological juridical legal research, in the form of how to deal with applicable laws and regulations are then associated with the reality that occurs in the community. The results of this study were in the form that Pekanbaru City KPU was asked to include the H. Dastrayani Bibra- H. Said Usman Abdullah as a participant in 2017 Mayor and Deputy Mayor Election, the interpretation of disability carried out by the KPU was refuted by the decision on nominating disputes issued by Pekanbaru City Election Supervisory Committee (Panwas). The conclusion in this study is in the dispute over the nomination of the Pekanbaru regional head that the Pekanbaru City Election Commission Decision was canceled with a Decision from the Election Supervisory Agency.

The holding of the 2019 Election is a historic event for the Indonesian Nation, because it is the first election that combines the Election of President and Vice President with the Legislative Election. Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections regulates the Campaign mechanism, one of which relates to the use of Campaign Props, yet the regulation in its implementation still violates the use of campaign props. With the interest of investigating this problem, this study used the research methodology in the form of sociological juridical research on primary data collected from field research. The results of this study showed the campaign props that violate the provisions of the legislation derived from installation, and some props are still installed even though the campaign period has finished. The solution of this research is advocating the need for close supervision of the installation of campaign props and outreach for election participants and the winning team not to violate the provisions of the election law.

Elections are a means of democracy used to rotate governmental circles, both executive and legislative powers. Voter participation in the holding of elections in 2019 is very high compared to the previous elections and therefore the potential for voters who cannot use their voting rights is very high as well. The research method used is sociological juridical research methods, with data collection techniques from primary data sources, data collection techniques by interviewing, observing, and studying literature. Problems in the form of the exercise of voting rights in Siak Regency in the General Election, that every voter can use their voting rights at the polling station, but in the implementation of simultaneous elections in 2019 in Siak District there are still Voters who cannot give their voting rights due to the endless availability of ballots, this is due to lack of effective in carrying out the data collection of potential voters conducted by election organizers when updating data, systems and infrastructure and the readiness of organizers to face simultaneous elections, low public awareness of their own voting rights.

Election violations in the Pelalawan Regency Head Election will be used as evaluation material in the implementation of the next general election, the findings of violations provide a model/form for improvement. This study uses a normative legal research method that uses a statutory approach. The findings of this study are a model of election violations in the form of election criminal violations, election administrative violations, ethical violations and other legal violations, this is based on findings and reports examined by Bawaslu and by Gakumdu.

Metode penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian yuridis sosiologis yang berlokasi di Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil Penelitian yaitu penggunaan surat keterangan sebagai pengganti KTP didapatkan jumlah yang cukup besar saat Pilkada Kota Pekanbaru tahun 2017 dan surat keterangan yang digunakan sebagai pengganti KTP diberikan tidak melampirkan foto sebagaimana yang terdapat didalam KTP yang berpotensi menimbulkan kecurangan dalam pelaksanaan Pilkada.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang penerapan prinsip berdemokrasi bagi penyandang disabilitas tuna grahita dalam Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) tahun 2019 di Provinsi Riau. Berkembangnya informasi dimedia elektronik dan sosial terkait orang gila memilih menjadi perhatian serius peneliti untuk mengkaji kategorisasi kelompok disabilitas tuna grahita yang terganggunya fungsi pikir karena kecerdasan di bawah rata rata. Data menunjukkan bahwa penyandang disabilitas tuna grahita diprovinsi Riau pada Pemilu 2019 sebanyak 911 orang namun tingkat partisipasi penyandang disabilitas hanya 411 orang atau lebih kurang 48%. Melalui pendekatan prinsip-prinsip demokrasi dan metode kualitatif analitis fenomenologi terlihat bahwa rendahnya partisipasi politik penyandang disabilitas tuna grahita dalam berdemokrasi disebabkan oleh inefektifnya pola penerapan prinsip berdemokrasi bagi penyandang disabilitas tuna grahita yang cendrung simetris, sehingga berdampak terhadap terbatasnya aksesibilitas penyandanng disabilitas dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi kepemiluan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mencoba memberikan masukkan dampak simetris maupun asimetris keterlibatan penyandang disabilitas dalam Pemilu.

Direct General Election by the public is a transfer of power and power competition, and a means of democracy in the embodiment of people's sovereignty in order to produce leaders as mandated in the Law. However, elections tend to be interpreted as a five-year procedural democracy that does not have a positive impact on people's lives. On the basis of these considerations, political education and civic culture in the community can encourage the political culture of participants and the culture of a democratic society, which is why these community service activities are made. This activity will be focused on Kampong Lubuk Tilan, Dayun District, Siak, where people are still not politically literate. Lubuk Tilan area is an urban, remote area where transactional political resistance and money politics often occur. For this reason, service is carried out in the form of political education and guidance by providing materials that can encourage and enrich people's knowledge related to ethical political values. This education and guidance will be in the form of lectures, discussions and supervisory technical guidance (checks and balances). This political and civic culture education will be provided by teaching staff who are experts in the fields of politics, law, citizenship and elements of regional election organizers, namely the KPU, especially the socialization division

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit all countries in the world and Indonesia is no exception, the Regional Government issues regional regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the Riau Provincial Government issues Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2020 concerning Health Implementation. Partners need legal information on activities and can avoid legal sanctions, both fines and imprisonment, implementation methods by distributing questionnaires to participants before and after implementation, the issue of health protocol enforcement is a central issue among efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.

The national vaccination program is the main agenda of the Government to suppress the spread of Covid 19 in Indonesia, the Government issues regulations or laws and regulations to provide a legal basis for implementing the national Covid 19 vaccination policy, Massive socialization of vaccinations at the national level to the village level is a reference for the distribution of Covid 19 vaccinations, Tebing Tinggi Okura Village is intensively vaccinating for the sake of high vaccination in Pekanbaru City, dealing with misleading information about Covid 19 vaccination, so partners who are residents of Tebing Tinggi Okura Village, Rumbai Timur District, Pekanbaru City need information about the national vaccination program along with its legal basis and legal consequences that accompanies the Covid 19 vaccination program. The approach methods offered to resolve the problems of program partners that have been mutually agreed upon within the program realization period are lectures, dialogues and guidance conducted using online media or directly depending on the Covid 19 pandemic. As a result of the service, the community has an increased understanding of the obligation to participate in the Covid 19 national vaccination program, as well as the accompanying sanctions for people who are determined to be vaccine recipients, but do not participate in the vaccination.
