Abstract

The Climate Village Program (ProKlim) is a national movement for community-based climate change control and aims to build a climate-resilient society. The determination of the area to be ProKlim is determined by the results of the assessment of the National Registry System for Climate Change Control (SRN PPI). The recorded areas make it easier for the Government to collect data regarding the addition of regions that are contributors in the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). Various benefits can be achieved by regions and communities that are included in the SRN and are nominated. But unfortunately many regions and communities do not know and understand what ProKlim is and its benefits are recorded in the PPI SRN. Therefore, education and assistance activities related to the data inventory needed in the SRN PPI are important to do. The method of implementing service activities is carried out in the form of education related to ProKlim and SRN PPI, Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and assistance in inventorying institutional data. The institutional aspect is the main concern of the service team because it has a weight of 40 percent of the assessment. So that institutional strengthening in terms of knowledge and assistance for managers of various ProKlim activities is very much needed. The success of climate change

Abstract

It is well-known that a teacher's primary responsibility is as an educator and facilitator for his pupils. However, in order to become more professional, teachers also need to improve their academic qualifications and skills to keep up with changes in science and technology. In particular, they need to publish scientific articles that share the knowledge they use in the classroom. Therefore, the purpose of this community service project is to help the teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Tualang with their publication endeavors, including the crafting of articles based on the best practice of their class observations and the implementation of the open journal system (OJS) for their submission. The activity is conducted conceptually and practically to make a significant contribution by making it easier for participating teachers to carry out the process of creating best practice articles and submitting them autonomously.

Abstract

Indonesia as one of the countries that adhere to a democratic system continues to carry out direct regional head elections even though national health is a threat. The face-to-face campaign stage in the regional head election is one of the negative highlights of the Covid-19 incident because it is feared that it will cause a new cluster of Covid-19 cases. Therefore, this study will find and explore the problem of violating health protocols at the campaign stage carried out by candidates for regional heads. This study uses an approach with content analysis and phenomenology as methods. Data collection begins with the problem of violating health protocols at the campaign stage through news in 14 selected media. The results of the mapping in the form of trends and various polemics of violations are elaborated on cases of violations that occurred in the regions. The results of the study showed that violations of the health protocol were very high during the campaign period to violations of alleged criminal acts. Political contestation that occurred at the campaign stage during the pandemic did not become an obstacle for regional head candidates who took part in the election. So, it can be seen that the elections that took place during the pandemic were not in favor of the people because the political interests of regional head candidates were more important than public health as actors of democracy itself. Putting aside people's health is a bad record in the implementation of democracy.

The advent of digital technology has had a tremendous influence on many aspects of people's lives, including politics. People will be more equipped to engage in critical thinking while reading and receiving news and recognize and avoid hoaxes and fake news as a result. This project aims to assist the community in becoming more critical and encourage active reduction of erroneous information that can potentially destroy national unity.
