Abstract

Consumption of halal and thayyib food  will make it easier for someone to do good deeds, this is mentioned in the Qur'an Surah Al Maidah verse 88. Halal is goods that are not haram, consuming them is not prohibited by religion. At least, the prohibition can be divided into two aspects. First, haram in essence or materially has been declared haram by the Shari'a, such as pigs, carrion, and blood. Second, haram is not in essence, but can be from the way of buying, obtaining, or processing the goods. Thayyib means something that is holy, not unclean, and not disgusting which is not liked by the soul. Whoever eats unlawful food, whether he wants it or not, his limbs will tend to sin, whether he realizes it or not. Whoever eats halal food, surely his limbs will obey and be given God’s guidance to do good.

Abstract

The development of the agricultural sector is not only food crops, but also plantation crops and horticulture. One of horticulture crops that have contributed to human is oyster mushroom. Oyster mushroom is highly suitable for people of Indonesia that is still difficult to meet the needs complete nutrition, especially protein needs. Contains essential amino acids: arginine, histidine, isoleucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine, unsaturated fats, vitamin B1, B2, niacin, biotin, micro and macro elements. The oyster mushroom is also shown to be potent inhibitors of HIV-AIDS, cholesterol, blood sugar and cancer. Mushroom cultivation media requires for growth. In this study utilizes waste sawdust which there are many in the community with the goal of increasing the economic value and the standard of life. Cultivation starts from media preparation, sterilization, filling and incubation seed to harvest. Wet harvest oyster mushrooms for 5 weeks increased gradually. 1000 new baglogs, 750 baglogs already can produce 290 kilograms of harvested oyster mushrooms wet. The selling price is Rp 9,000 and total revenue is Rp 2.61 million for one month. Mushroom cultivation should be accompanied by the processing of waste in order to have a double added value of improving economic value and overcome the environment. Based on the data and the results of the discussion showed that the oyster mushroom cultivation can work well and provide benefits, so as to improve the economy for the community.

Abstract

Telang flower has the potential to inhibit the growth of Candida albicans, Malasezia furfur, Pitosporum ovale, and Aspergilus fumigatus through the kombucha fermentation biotechnology method. The purpose of this study was to determine the antifungal activity of telang flower kombucha at various concentrations of white sugar. The varying concentrations of granulated sugar used in this study were 20%, 30%, and 40% (w/v), each repeated 3 times. The positive control used was kombucha made from green tea. The negative control used was sterile distilled water. The well diffusion method is one of the methods used to test antifungal activity. The fementation of telang flower kombucha has overall antifungal activity. White sugar concentration of 40% kombucha telang flower was the best concentration in inhibiting the growth of fungi as a whole when compared to the concentration of white sugar kombucha telang flower of 20%, 30% and positive and negative controls.

Abstract

Rice is a very important type of food crop because it is a staple food source. Crop losses at the farmer level due to competition with weeds reach 10-1.5%. This study aims to determine the structure of rice weed communities in rice fields in Patia Village, Patia District, and Pandeglang Regency. The research method uses an observation method with the sampling technique used as a random method. The plot used was 2 m x 2 m. Weed sampling was carried out by recording the types of weed types and counting the number of individuals of each species. Measurements of environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, pH, and light intensity were measured. The data parameters measured include the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H'), evenness index (J'), dominance index (D), wealth index (S), and abundance of rice weed species. The results of the study were that the types of rice weeds found in the rice fields of Patia Village, District, and Patia, Pandeglang Regency, namely Ludwigia octovalvis (Jacq) Raven, Commanded cylindricaL. Beauv, Spigelia anthelmia, Ageratum conyzoides, Spihemoclea zeylanica, Altemanthera sessillis, Eclipta prostate, Cypress deformed L., Digitaria sp. and Mimosa chaste L. The structure of the weed community in the rice fields of Patia Village, Patia District, Pandeglang Regency is the Shannon-Wiener Diversity Index (H') of 1.94; Evenness Index (J') of 0.884; Dominance Index (D) of 0.15.

Abstract

Water insects are a group of insect organisms that partially or phase of their life  in water. Usually the habitat of the nymph phase in the imago phase, that is the nymphs usually live in water. In naiads there are breathing apparatus such as gills and their habitat is in water While in the immago phase, the habitat is on land or air and the breathing apparatus uses the trachea. This study to determine the diversity of aquatic insects in the river Cimoyan Picung District. The search was carried out at 2 stations with 3 times taking itat each station. Sampling using a kick net with a plot of 10 meters at each station. Samples that can be preserved with formalin solution, the sorted, in the insectarium and identified. The data obtained from the research of aquatic insects in the village of Bungurcopong, Picung Pandeglang district used descriptive data.

Abstract

Imunitas yang cenderung mengalami penurunan merupakan salah satu tanda tanda adanya serangan penyakit maupun infeksi baik yang disebabkan oleh bakteri gram positif maupun negatif. Staphylococcus capitis merupakan golongan bakteri gram positif yang berpotensi dalam menyebabkan penyakit endokarditis pada bagian jantung manusia. Bacillus cereus merupakan salah satu golongan bakteri gram positif yang berpotensi penyebab diare dan keracunan pada makanan. Pantoea dispersa merupakan salah satu bakteri gram negatif yang berpotensi menyerang sistem pencernaan (usus). Bunga telang yang dihasilkan melalui metode bioteknologi fermentasi kombucha merupakan salah satu minuman probiotik yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mencegah adanaya pertumbuhan bakteri patogen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghambat pertumbuhan ketiga bakteri uji melalui bunga telang yang dihasilkan melalui metode bioteknologi fermentasi kombucha. Metode dalam menghambat ketiga pertumbuhan bakteri uji adalah difusi cakram. Analis data yang dilakukan adalah ANOVA satu jalur dan uji lanjut melalui analisis pos hoc. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kombucha bunga telang berpotensi dalam menghambat ketiga pertumbuhan bakteri uji berdasarkan analisis ANOVA satu jalur dimana masing-masing nilai P>0,05 dan analisis pos hoc membuktikan bahwa konsentrasi 40% tidak berbeda nyata terhadap kontrol positif dalam menghambat ketiga pertumbuhan bakteri uji
