Abstract

After   human  teacher,   the   internet    would    represent     the   most   important  educational resources in the world if every student had a computer and internet networking. Teachers can use collage computer systems or home computers and individual internet account to educate themselves and then bring the benefit of the internet to their students by proxy. Not only the essence of lecture but all aspect education resources such as financial, tutor program, scholarships, college information. This paper identifies internet resources that can be particularly valuable teachers, students, and others with an interest in education.Kata Kunci : Cybereducation, Interconection Networking

Abstract

To prepare the students with the demand of life in the future, teachers must continuously develop mastery of new knowledge, skills, competencies, and aptitudes. Education has entered a period of profound disruptive transition. It requires teachers to have organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The purpose of this quantitative study is to examine the effect of servant leadership, emotional intelligence, and purpose in life on organizational citizenship behavior in XYZ Early Childhood Years and Elementary School. Fifty-five teachers of XYZ Early Childhood Years and Elementary School completed the online questionnaires. Path analysis through PLS SEM method is employed to test the proposed hypotheses. The results showed that servant leadership has positive effect on purpose in life and organizational citizenship behavior. It was found that emotional intelligence has positive effect on purpose in life. Purpose in life also has positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. In contrast, it was found that emotional intelligence does not have positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Siswa perlu dipersiapkan untuk menghadapi tuntutan kehidupan masa mendatang, guru harus terus mengembangkan penguasaan pengetahuan, keterampilan, kompetensi, dan bakat baru. Pendidikan telah memasuki masa transisi yang penuh disrupsi. Hal ini menuntut guru untuk memiliki organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Tujuan dari penelitian kuantitatif ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh servant leadership, emotional intelligence dan purpose in life terhadap organizational citizenship behavior di TK-SD XYZ. Lima puluh lima guru TK dan SD XYZ menyelesaikan kuesioner online. Perhitungan penelitian menggunakan analisis jalur melalui metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa servant leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Ditemukan juga bahwa servant leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap purpose in life dan emotional intelligence berpengaruh positif terhadap purpose in life. Purpose in life juga berpengaruh positif terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Sebaliknya, emotional intelligence tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine effect of servant leadership and person-organization fit on employee engagement with job satisfaction as mediator variable. This research is a research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at XYZ Junior High School, Serpong Utara. The time of the study was carried out from January 2020 to May 2020 which involved samples from the total population studied. The population in question is full-time education staff at XYZ Junior High School, Serpong Utara who are Indonesian citizens and total 44 people. The data was processed numerically, so the data collection instrument used a questionnaire to obtain primary data. The device that will be used to perform the analysis using the partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) approach is the SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that servant leadership has a positive effect on employee engagement. Person-organization fit has a positive effect on employee engagement. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee engagement. Servant leadership has a positive effect on employee engagement mediated by job satisfaction. Person-organization fit has a positive effect on employee engagement mediated by job satisfaction.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi guru di abad 21 adalah keterampilan kolaborasi. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, diperlukan kepemimpinan terdistribusi (DL) untuk melakukan pengembangan profesional guru secara kolaborasi melalui komunitas pembelajaran profesional (PLC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tindakan kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi permasalahan kolaborasi guru, hambatan PLC, implementasi DL, dan penanganan permasalahan praktik PLC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin sekolah meningkatkan kolaborasi guru melalui PLC. Praktik PLC didasarkan pada kesamaan visi dan misi, membangun profesionalisme guru, memperkaya pengetahuan, dan saling melengkapi. Kendala PLC adalah kolaborasi spontan masih terbatas, menyebabkan perbedaan pemahaman antar guru, perbedaan konteks sekolah, dan kurangnya persatuan antar anggota. Implementasi DL dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk berkolaborasi dan pimpinan sekolah memberikan dukungan dalam praktik PLC.

Abstract

Many attempts to defend the concept of a Christian understanding of the Truth (ἀλήθεια) especially in the Gospel of John. To defend the Christianity concept of truth, believe The Truth is Jesus Christ himself. Secular scholars attempt to ruin this concept with many theories and principles. They have been continuing to reject this epistemology based on the philosophy of science and questioning what is the Truth and what is the connection with Jesus Christ. To defend this concept, an approach of Karl Popper’s falsification theory is used to justify the truth is Jesus Christ Himself in the Gospel and letters of John.

Abstract

XYZ Daan Mogot Kindergarten was a Christian school that implemented Bible integration in its learning activities. Even though XYZ Kindergarten school already had an integrated Bible curriculum, teachers had difficulties and confusion in implementing it. This study aimed to describe how Bible integration was incorporated into the curriculum on thematic subjects in virtual learning at XYZ Kindergarten, explained how the level of application of Bible integration was and explained the obstacles experienced by schools. The method that will be carried out by the researcher was qualitative research using research instruments such as interviews, questionnaires, class observations, and documents. The results of the research show that: Bible integration in XYZ Kindergarten is the realization of the great mandate where its implementation is contained in the curriculum, teacher’s examples, and also the recruitment of new employees. The level of application of Bible integration in XYZ Kindergarten has not yet reached a complete stage. The obstacles faced by schools include the personal faith of the teacher, the ability of the teacher, limited time, lack of resources and problems from parents.

Abstract

The basic or elementary music theory is one of the knowledge that one should masters in playing music. the most common thing, which occurs in students of Arts and Culture subjects (Music) with keyboard musical instrument interest, is a low level of understanding in reading and playing rhythm as well as reading notes in general. Students of grade 8 with keyboard musical instruments interest also have issues with their knowledge regarding basic music theory, especially on reading rhythm and notes. The purpose of this research is to find out methods to improve students' understanding of reading rhythm and notes in a short period. this research consists of three cycles. On each cycle, the researcher uses techniques derived from Kodály and Suzuki's teaching method. Instruments used in this research are observation sheets, rubrics, tests, and student interviews. The result of the activities conducted in the class following this research shows techniques derived from Kodály and Suzuki's teaching method could help improve students' understanding of reading and playing rhythm as well as improving understanding of reading notes. Students of grade 8 with keyboard musical interest experience quite significant understanding improvement and have been helped with reading rhythm and music notation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kepemimpinan diri siswa. Berdasarkan penerapan metode Steven Murrell untuk mempengaruhi siswa berusia 10-11 tahun untuk meningkatkan karakter, kerohanian, dan mentalitas mereka. Peneliti menemukan pemuridan yang diajarkan Tuhan Yesus mengarah pada proses kepemimpinan seseorang, yaitu proses kepemimpinan diri yang didasari oleh rasa takut akan Tuhan dan menggenapi rencana-Nya dalam kehidupan siswa. Untuk itu, peneliti menggabungkan metode pemuridan yang diterapkan oleh Steve Murrell dalam bukunya Wikichurch yang menerapkan empat nilai (4E) pemuridan, yaitu: Relational (Engage), Spiritual (Establish), Intensional (Equip), Missional (Empowering) dalam proses pembelajaran agama Kristen yang diintegrasikan dengan pelajaran pendidikan karakter sebagai upaya meningkatkan kepemimpinan diri anak sejak dini di Sekolah Dasar di Jakarta. Dalam prosesnya, guru membimbing siswa untuk memahami keputusan-keputusan tentang tindakan siswa yang umumnya dipengaruhi oleh emosi dalam diri mereka. Penelitian ini bersamaan dengan observasi yang disusun dalam refleksi peneliti berdasarkan kejadian-kejadian yang dianggap penting juga diamati berdasarkan dokumen yang terlampir. Setiap siklus dilakukan dengan memikirkan dan merencanakan tindakan selanjutnya yang dianggap penting. Proyek yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa berupa aplikasi nyata dari tugas dan panggilan seorang Kristen dalam beberapa tahapan yang penulis yakini sebagai bagian dari proses kepemimpinan diri. Dalam prosesnya, peneliti memanfaatkan kegagalan sebagai alat batu loncatan untuk guru mengarahkan kepemimpinan diri siswa (Equip, Empowering). Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti, penerapan metode Steve Murrell telah meningkatkan karakter kepemimpinan diri siswa dalam motivasi belajar, pola perilaku yang lebih baik, dan kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Numerous studies have shown that digital technology, specifically information technology, has shaped the characteristics of this generation. Therefore, this digital generation needs to be prepared to face the challenges of this day and age through spiritual education that creates a transformed life. Discipleship in small groups as a form of Christian education generates transformation because it has the potential to cause internalization and multiplication. XYZ church in Tangerang have implemented discipleship for the young digital generation in the form of KTB (Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama) for more than 10 years. This research aims to understand the experience of discipleship for the digital generation and how it impacts their spiritual growth. Phenomenological qualitative research is used as the research design. The collected data comes from in-depth interviews with KTB members, along with their parents and KTB mentors. The research results show that the KTB member’s understanding of discipleship within KTBs is a process where they are mentored personally to spiritually grow through deep knowledge of the Scripture, better application of the word of God, and involvement in mission and ministry. A community with a healthy relationship is an excellent medium for spiritual growth within the members of “Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama”.AbstrakBeberapa penelitian menyatakan bahwa teknologi digital khususnya teknologi informasi telah membentuk karakteristik generasi ini. Maka generasi digital ini harus dipersiapkan untuk menghadapi tantangan zaman ini dengan memberikan pendidikan spiritual yang menghasilkan transformasi hidup. Pemuridan transformatif berbasis pendidikan Kristen dalam kelompok kecil memungkinkan terjadinya internalisasi dan multiplikasi. Gereja XYZ di Tangerang mengerjakan pemuridan kepada generasi digital dalam bentuk Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama (KTB) selama lebih dari 10 tahun.  Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengalaman pemuridan bagi generasi digital dan bagaimana pemuridan itu berdampak pada pertumbuhan rohani mereka. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada anggota Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama, pembina dan orang tua yang bersangkutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman anggota KTB terhadap pemuridan dalam Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama adalah sebuah proses di mana mereka dibimbing secara pribadi untuk bertumbuh secara rohani melalui pengertian Firman Tuhan yang lebih mendalam, penerapan Firman Tuhan yang lebih baik dan keterlibtan dalam misi dan pelayanan. Komunitas yang memiliki relasi yang sehat merupakan media yang baik bagi pertumbuhan rohani anggota "Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama".

Abstract

Kepala sekolah memiliki peran penting untuk terlaksananya sebuah pendidikan yang bermutu dalam sebuah sekolah. Hal ini dikarenakan kepala sekolah menjadi pemimpin tertinggi dan memiliki tangggung jawab dalam kualitas pembelajaran dan perkembangan kompetensi guru di sekolah. Akan tetapi, kondisi tersebut belum terlaksana dengan baik di sekolah XYZ Jakarta Utara. Para guru hanya berfokus kepada pengajaran mereka yang berpusat pada guru dan belum maksimal dalam mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Tempat penelitian di lakukan di Sekolah XYZ Jakarta Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah dalam melakukan sebuah perubahan sangat mereka harapkan. Kepala sekolah beserta segenap pimpinan sekolah perlu mengupayakan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru supaya dapat mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam menghadapi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan.
