Abstract

The background of this research problem was lack of ability to write a persuasive essay in class VIII.D junior high school Number 2 Lengayang Pesisir Selatan District. Low interest of students in writing essays of persuasion due to the method used is the lecture method resulting in saturated and bored students on the material being taught, so that the necessary techniques that are able to improve essay writing skills of persuasion. This study aimed to describe the comparison of the ability to write persuasive essays before and after the use of media images in teaching writing persuasive essay in class VIII.D junior high school Number 2 Lengayang Pesisir Selatan District.            This research is quantitative research. The technique used in this study are pre with the research  design of pre - test and post -test. The population in this study is the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lengayang Pesisir selatan  district listed in 2012/2013 which consists of 7 classes. collect the sample is purposive sampling and the sample is grade VIII.D.the instrument use of the test about performance of writing a persuasive essay. techniques  to collect the data is done in two stages, before and after using the media image.            Based on the results of a study of the ability to write persuasive essays before and after the use of media images can conclude the following points. First , the ability to write persuasive essays before using media images eighth grade students of junior high school number 2 Lengayang Pesisir Selatan District are at nearly qualified enough ( HC ) with an average value of 52.86. Second, the ability to write persuasive essays after using media images eighth grade junior high student 2 Lengayang Pesisir selatan District are in good qualification ( B ) with an average value of 75.93. Third, there are significant differences from before and after the use of media to use images in teaching media writing persuasive essays of t-test results at the level of 0.05 t = 12.8 > t table = 1.70 thus H1 is accepted. Student learning outcomes in persuasion fabricated using media images more effectively.

Abstract

The background of this research was the problem that the students faced in the VIII grade studends’ of SMP N 29 Kabupaten Sijunjung in writing the news was not better in aplplying 5W+1H. More over 5W+1H items in the news was very important items. The good news should be able to answer the items 5W+1H. This research has the purpose to describe the ability of writing news text at the VIII grade of SMP N 29 Kabupaten Sijunjung. The kind of this research used was qualitative research with used descriptif method. In this research the all population to be sample because the population less from 100. The date of this research was used news text that the students wrote at the VIII grade students’ of SMP N 29 Kabupaten Sijunjung that it got though test in essay from.The result of this research showed that the ability of writing news text students at the grade VIII students’ of SMP N 29 Kabupaten Sijunjung was good (B) with the mean score 77,18%. Next, the ability of students writing news text at the VIII grade students’ of SMP N 29 Kabupaten Sijunjung seen from the items’ (1) what/apa was very good (BS), with the mean score students 89,33%, (2) who/siapa was enough (C), with the mean score students 64%, (3) where/dimana was good (B), with the mean score students 78,22%, (4) when/kapan was very good (BS), with the mean score students 87,11%, (5) why/kenapa was enough (C), with mean score students 69,78%, and (6) how/bagaimana was more than enough (LdC), with the mean score students 74,67.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student interest in identifying the intrinsic elements of a play. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to identify intrinsic element plays eighth graders MTs TI Batang Kabung Padang of City. This research is a quantitative research using descriptive methods. The population in this study is the eighth grade students of MTs TI Batang Kabung Padang numbering 110 people. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling which amount to 32 people. The results showed that the ability of eighth graders MTs TI Batang Kabung Padang of City identify intrinsic elements of the drama script by using the technique of inquiry are the qualifications Good (B) with an average value of 76 is in the range 76-85. Picture of students ability to identify the elements intrinsic drama script as follows: (1) the ability of students to identify elements of the theme are the qualifications More than Enough (LC). (2) the ability of students to identify elements of the mandate is at qualifying Both (B). (3) the ability of students to identify the elements that are in the qualification Good (B). (4) The ability of students to identify the elements that are in the qualifying groove More Than Enough (LC). (5) The ability of students to identify the elements that are in the background plays qualifier More Than Enough (LC).

Abstract

Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah kurangnya minat siswa dalam menulis paragraf deskripsi dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru kurang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan tingkat keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Koto XI Tarusan pada kelas yang tidak menggunakan media gambar, (2) mendeskripsikan tingkat keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Koto XI Tarusan pada kelas yang menggunakan media gambar, (3) mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Koto XI Tarusan pada kelas menggunakan media gambar. Data dikumpulkan dari dua kelas yang dijadikan kelas kontrol dan kelas eskperimen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dan dideskripsikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) tingkat keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan yang tidak menggunakan media gambar dengan memerolehan  nilai rata-rata kelas 65,57, dengan klasifikasi baik, (2) tingkat keterampilan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan yang menggunakan media gambar memeroleh nilai rata-rata kelas 76,21 dengan klasifikasi baik, (3) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan dengan uji .

Abstract

ABSTRACTCivil formal or civil law is the legal rules governing the whole of how to ensure compliance with civil law material by means of the judge. Civil law is needed to regulate how rights claims should be submitted to the court, how the court should examine and give its decision and how the decision of the court should be implemented. Procedural law does not regulate the process of law enforcement outside of court. Although not governed by the procedural law, law enforcement efforts outside the court conducted in a fair and peaceful stay is required, so that the more alternatives that can be chosen by the search for justice in menuntutkan what they are entitled.

Abstract

Abstract. Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School is one of the institutions that handle, especially character building, one of the leading programs in fostering this character is the education and basic training of ready-to-use students in applying BAKU (baik dan kuat) character. This research aims to: 1) know the background of the implementation policy of BAKU (baik dan kuat) character education through the SSG program. 2) BAKU character education for Santri Siap Guna participants. 3) support and inhibite factors for the implementation of BAKU (good and strong) character education through the SSG program. Researcher used descriptive methods to obtain a clear picture of "the manager's efforts in instilling BAKU character for participants in the basic education and training program for ready-to-use santri at Daarut Tauhiid. From the results of the study, researcher could obtain the information and also data from the training held by conducting field research, analyzing it, then clarifying it through techniques such as interviews, observations, and also field studies. The findings of the research are as follows: 1) the background of the BAKU (baik dan kuat) character education implementation policy stems from concerns about the condition of the Indonesian nation which has so many problems. Whereas this nation has many unproductive and less useful youth resources in a global situation that demands to be able to compete with other countries quickly, 2) the implementation of baku character carried out by the trainees is that the participants apply honesty, sincerity, tawadhu, discipline, courage, and resilience, 3) Inconsistent and the lack of enthusiasm of students in carrying out all activities are inhibiting factors in the implementation of BAKU (baik dan kuat) character education. Abstrak. Pesantren Daarut Tauhiid merupakan salah satu lembaga yang menangani, khususnya dalam pembentukan karakter, salah satu program unggulan dalam menumbuhkan karakter ini adalah pendidikan dan pelatihan dasar santri siap guna dalam menerapkan karakter baku (baik dan kuat). Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Mengetahui latar belakang kebijakan implementasi pendidikan karakter BAKU (baik dan kuat) melalui program SSG. 2) pedidikan karakter BAKU bagi peserta Santri Siap Guna. 3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi pendidikan karakter BAKU (baik dan kuat) melalui program SSG. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif sebagai upaya yang dilakukan peneliti untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang “usaha pengelola dalam penanaman karakter BAKU bagi peserta program pendidikan dan pelatihan dasar santri siap guna di Daarut Tauhiid. Sehingga dari hasil penelitian tersebut peneliti dapat memperoleh informasi dan juga data dari pelatihan yang diadakan dengan melakukan penelitian lapangan, menganalisisnya, kemudian mengklarifikasi melalui teknik seperti wawancara, observasi dan juga studi lapangan. Hasil temuan dari penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) latar belakang kebijakan implementasi pendidikan karakter BAKU (baik dan kuat) Berawal dari keprihatinan akan kondisi bangsa Indonesia yang begitu banyak masalah. Padahal bangsa ini memiliki banyak sumber daya pemuda yang tidak produktif dan kurang manfaat dalam situasi global yang menuntut untuk bisa bersaing dengan negara lain secara cepat . 2) Implementasi karakter baku yang dilakukan oleh peserta pelatihan adalah peserta mengaplikasikan sikap jujur, ikhlas, tawadhu, disiplin, berani dan tangguh, 3) Tidak komitemen dan kurang semangatnya peserta didik dalam melaksanakan semua kegiatan merupakan faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter BAKU (Baik dan Kuat).
