Abstract

Abstract— This prayer guide Augmented Reality application is designed for early childhood with parental supervision. The purpose of developing this application is to give new experiences for early childhood in learning prayer with technology of Augmented Reality Application. The method used is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) wich consists of six stages, namely Concept, Design, Material Collection, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. After the application development process, the result of this research is anAugmented Reality Application that is used by early childhood in learning prayer using a Smartphone.

Abstract

The impact of the covid-19 pandemic is so great that the government must have policies to reduce its impact. One of the government's policies is the new normal which requires all people to wear masks, keep their distance and wash their hands. In its application, of course, there are positive and negative sentiments uploaded to Twitter. This study aims to model the analysis of public sentiment regarding the government's new normal policy during the covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The stages of this research are data crawling, labeling, neutral data removal, preprocessing, distribution of training data and data testing, creation of a nave Bayes classification system, system testing and visualization of research results using wordcloud. The classification system performance includes 80.37% accuracy, 87.38% precision, 82.57% recall and 84.91% f-measure. The results of this study are 5194 tweets classified as positive sentiment and 2908 tweets classified as negative sentiment, this shows that there are more positive sentiments than negative sentiments. But from the numbers it can be seen that the comparison is not too far between positive and negative sentiments, meaning that there is a lack of public response to the new normal government policies during the pandemic.

Abstract

The development of technology is very rapid in today's era, especially with the development of internet technology. In the field of education itself, publication and access to research references can be easily done via the internet. However, with the internet also, research journal piracy can occur when access to references cannot be obtained due to paywall barriers (cannot access if you do not pay). Expressions of this can be found on social media, where users can use the platform to express their opinions freely. The availability of these data on the internet that can be retrieved and analyzed so as to produce information. In this study, we will analyze public sentiment towards one of the research article hijacking sites, namely Sci-Hub. The method used is Lexicon-based which is a method that uses a dictionary for classifying sentiment text. The data used are 35,755 tweets with 28,193 English-language tweets and 7,552 Indonesian-language tweets. The data is classified according to the rules in the InSet dictionary with the results of the classification of positive sentiment 59.51%, negative sentiment 26.42% and neutral sentiment 14.07%. This study obtained an accuracy of 55.66% for the prediction of data with positive, negative and neutral sentiments.

Abstract

Tomohon is a small city in North Sulawesi. In Tomohon City, there are 12 high schools and the equivalent that are officially registered on the reference data site of the Ministry of Education and Culture.in practice, the number of students enrolled in 12 schools in each academic year has a significant difference. This is influenced by the high public perception of schools that are labeled ‘favorite schools’ with other schools. This study aims to group data on prospective high school students in Tomohon City for the 2021/2022 academic year using the K-Means Clustering method for high school recommendations. K-Means is a partition-based Clustering method in Data Mining where data will be grouped based on the level of similarity, so that student data that have the same characteristics are grouped into one cluster, while student data with different characteristics are grouped into different clusters.

Abstract

The current development of smal and medium enterprise (MSMEs) is not accompanied by the application of information technology, which is increasingly developing rapidly. This is experienced by almost all laundry business actors in North Sulawesi. This study aims to develop the Yunit Laundry application which can support the operations of laundry entrepreneurs. On the other hand, it can help laundry service users in accessing laundry services or using laundry services. This study applies the Scrum framework as a guide in the system development process. Meanwhile, system modeling uses the Unified Modeling Language. The results of this research are a series of web site applications that will be used by laundry entrepreneur admins and Android-based mobile applications for laundry service users.

Abstract

Based on observations made by researchers at Informatics Engineering Universitas Negeri Manado, there is no Thesis Repository that functions to accommodate data on Thesis Titles of Informatics Engineering Study Program Students. Based on this, researchers plan to develop a web-based Thesis Repository System at Universitas Negeri Manado Informatics using the Agile Software Development method. After the web-based Thesis Repository System in Informatics Engineering Universitas Negeri Manado was successfully developed using the Agile Software Development method, testing carried out using the black box testing method obtained good results, where 12 test points were successfully achieved and the developed system could help the study program in recording thesis data from students.

Abstract

Online news is a report about an event that is presented online by a news publishing company through an online news portal. Manado News is a news portal that presents news online which is divided into several categories. This study aims to analyze the data on news titles on the Manado News online news portal, Legal and Criminal category, to find out the crimes that are rampant and reported on this news portal. The analysis is carried out by implementing one of the methods in topic modeling, namely Latent Dirichlet Allocation. This method is used to find the topic of discussion in a document with a large capacity and displays the words that appear the most in a topic. The data needed for modeling was obtained by scraping on the online news portal Manado News, with a span of five years, from April 2017 to April 2022. After the data was processed using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation method, one topic of discussion was found, namely conventional crime groups. The topic contains a number of words which are types of crime in the conventional crime category, namely, persecution, theft, murder, stabbing, motor vehicle theft, sexual abuse and liquor.

Abstract

The process of collecting data on the attendance of teachers and employees at GMIM 2 Tondano Elementary School still uses manual methods and has not been computerized both in taking attendance data to the process of recapitulating attendance data. Based on this, this research aims to design and develop an attendance system by applying face recognition technology. An agile software development method with scrum framework is used to develop the system, this system uses the Viola-Jones algorithm to perform face detection, and uses the Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) algorithm for face recognition. With a test distance of 1 meter the ViolaJones algorithm gets an accuracy result of 100% and for a distance of 2 meters gets an accuracy result of 0%. Local Binary Pattern Histograms (LBPH) algorithm, getting 100% accuracy for 40 tests with 4 different face samples with a testing distance of 1 meter between the camera and the faces. Based on the results of the tests, it can be concluded that the face recognition-based attendance system was successfully developed for use by teachers and employees at GMIM 2 Tondano Elementary School.
