Abstract

Research shows the positive impact of using technology, including easy access to information, maintaining communication with distant friends, broadening horizons, and supporting communication and academic learning. However, negative impacts also occur, such as reduced quality of personal communication, lack of non-verbal communication skills, poor academic concentration, and dependence on technology for social interaction. It is recommended to use technology in the campus environment, increase digital awareness and encourage activities that require face-to-face communication, such as group discussions and collaborative projects, to help students develop social skills and create better interpersonal relationships.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial Instagram, khususnya akun @PTPN4_Palmco, dalam meningkatkan brand awareness PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional 1. Dengan lebih dari 8.500 pengikut, akun ini berfungsi sebagai platform komunikasi yang efektif untuk memperkenalkan produk dan layanan perusahaan. Melalui strategi konten yang menarik dan interaktif, PTPN IV berhasil membangun hubungan yang lebih dekat dengan audiens, meningkatkan visibilitas merek, dan menciptakan citra positif di masyarakat. Data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Instagram tidak hanya meningkatkan kesadaran merek, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada edukasi petani kelapa sawit mengenai praktik terbaik dalam industri. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi perusahaan lain tentang pentingnya pemanfaatan media sosial dalam strategi pemasaran modern.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a phenomenon that continues to grow alongside social changes and progress, affecting the psychological development of adolescents, who are often emotionally unstable. This study aims to analyze the causes of juvenile delinquency among students at Melati Binjai Private High School and to identify the contributing factors, as well as the strategies used to address this issue. The approach used in this study is quantitative, employing a correlational method. The subjects of the study consisted of 30 private high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using two instruments: a juvenile delinquency scale and a social learning scale, both measured using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation. The results of the study showed no significant relationship between social learning methods and juvenile delinquency. This finding suggests that other factors—such as parenting styles, social environment, and peer interactions—may have a greater influence on delinquent behavior. The study concludes that social learning alone is insufficient to address juvenile delinquency and recommends that additional factors be considered in efforts to prevent such behavior. The implications of this research are important for various stakeholders, particularly educators, schools, and policymakers in the field of education.

Abstract

The 2025 Community Service Program (KKN) of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU), held in Sugihen Village, Juhar District, implemented an Ecotheology approach as a form of environmental awareness that combines Islamic values and ecological awareness in community life. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of three main programs: the installation of road signs, waste management appeals, and lemongrass planting implemented by KKN students as a tangible contribution to environmental sustainability. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used in data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation during the one-month program implementation. The findings indicate that all three programs have a positive impact on increasing community awareness and involvement in protecting the environment. Road signs play a role in clarifying regional planning and facilitating access to public facilities such as mosques, schools, and other places of worship. Meanwhile, the waste campaign has begun to change residents’ habits of littering, and lemongrass cultivation activities are used to beautify yards while having economic value and strengthening the value of mutual cooperation. In conclusion, the Ecotheology concept applied in this KKN activity has proven effective in encouraging positive changes in community behavior toward the environment and has the potential to serve as an example for implementation in other villages.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of TikTok @buiramira content on the ease of UINSU final semester students in completing their final projects. "Student convenience" is measured through respondents' perception of the ease of finding information, understanding the material, and applying tips from @buiramira content. Using a quantitative method with a questionnaire distributed to 50 UINSU Communication Science students (based on the calculation of the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%), the data was analyzed using simple linear regression, correlation, determination, and T test. The results showed a significant influence of @buiramira content on student convenience (p < 0.05) with a contribution of 46.4%. This study concludes that educational content on TikTok can be a useful source of information for students in completing their final projects, and highlights the importance of clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand conten.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of career guidance on career planning maturity among students at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu. The background of this research is based on the low ability of students to plan their future careers. Many students still lack mature career planning, are unable to explore career opportunities, and struggle with future decision-making. This study employed a quantitative correlational approach with a population consisting of all students at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu and a sample of 34 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using career guidance and career planning maturity questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson’s Product Moment correlation. The results showed a positive and significant influence of career guidance on students’ career planning maturity at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu. Students who actively participated in career guidance services demonstrated better self-understanding, recognized their potential, made more mature decisions, and developed clearer and more directed future career plans. This study emphasizes the importance of systematic career guidance conducted by guidance and counseling teachers to help students prepare for their future careers, choose educational paths aligned with their talents and interests, and achieve their future goals—especially for those planning to continue their studies in Saudi Arabia.
